"Now, tell me, what is your purpose for coming here?" After hearing this question, the Ninja teacher came back to his senses and spoke, "I came here on behalf of the Ninja academy, and I am here to ask you if you are planning to enroll in the academy."
"As an action-oriented person, theory classes are useless to me. However, when it comes to combat classes, I would be interested in attending the Ninja academy. But if there are rules that require attending both theoretical and combat classes, then I refuse," said Jiryoku.
"I cannot make any decisions regarding this matter, so I will have to consult my seniors for further information," said the Chunin ninja.
"Hmm, you are right," Jiryoku simply nodded.
The Chunin teacher stood there without moving, so Jiryoku asked, "Do you need some kind of invitation to leave?"
"Huh? No, not at all. Ha ha ha," the Chunin teacher laughed awkwardly and left in a hurry.
After the Chunin teacher left, Jiryoku continued his training. Upon completing his goal for the day, he sat quietly on the grass.
"System, open my character panel," said Jiryoku.

After viewing his system panel, Jiryoku smiled. When his template reached 10%, two things happened: first, his daily template progress increased from 0.015% to 0.02%. Secondly, he activated his Devil Fruit ability, which is why his base strength is Chunin, while his overall strength is Elite Chunin.
The teacher hurriedly ran back to the Ninja Academy and then proceeded to the Hokage's office where Hiruzen was working.
"As per your orders, Master Hokage, I invited every orphan who met the requirements. And as you had instructed, I asked Jiryoku if he would join the Ninja Academy. His response was that if he were to attend, he would only participate in taijutsu classes. As a blind person, he finds theoretical classes useless. If he can't exclusively attend taijutsu classes, then he would rather not join the Ninja Academy," the chunin explained in one breath.
"Hmm... anything else?" asked Hiruzen.
The chunin teacher became embarrassed, caught in a dilemma. Should he admit that he was defeated by a blind person, let alone a brat?
Observing the teacher's embarrassed expression, Hiruzen spoke with a smile. "You truly embody the spirit of the Will of Fire. But still, is there anything that I don't deserve to know?"
With a sense of embarrassment, the chunin teacher recounted everything that had transpired during his encounter with Jiryoku.
"So, you're saying that he was able to defeat you solely by using his swordsmanship and physical strength?" asked the Hokage.
"Yes," replied the chunin teacher.
Hiruzen pondered for a moment and then spoke, "Okay, you may go. I will meet him myself."
The chunin teacher was shocked; he never expected the Hokage himself to show such concern. Afterward, the chunin teacher left the Hokage's office.
In the evening, as he did every day, Jiryoku went to the Ichiraku Ramen shop.
"Welcome, Jiryoku! As always, your Chasu ramen will be ready," Ichiraku said as soon as Jiryoku entered.
Jiryoku entered and took a seat, waiting for his ramen.
"You are such a good boy. Ichiraku has told me many good things about you," Jiryoku heard an elderly voice.
"Thank you for the compliment, but I don't believe I know you," Jiryoku said.
At that moment, Ichiraku arrived with the ramen and handed it to Jiryoku. After hearing Jiryoku's question, Ichiraku said, "Jiryoku, this is Hokage-sama."
Upon hearing Ichiraku's words, Jiryoku immediately stood up from his seat and bowed in the direction of Hiruzen. He said, "I'm sorry, Hokage-sama. I didn't know it was you."
In a grandfatherly manner, Hiruzen spoke, "Sit down and have a seat. I am like a grandfather, aren't I?"
Hiruzen then asked, "So, how is your life going?"
Jiryoku responded, "Yes, I am living a good life thanks to your leadership and my parents' hard work."
"I am glad to hear that," said Hiruzen with a smile.
Afterward, they both ate in silence.
Finally, when they were both ready to leave, Hiruzen spoke, "Jiryoku, what is your motivation for becoming stronger?"
"For me, my goal to become stronger is very simple: to become the strongest person to have ever existed," said Jiryoku.
"What are your thoughts on the village?" asked Hiruzen.
"Konoha village has given me a place to live. It's where my parents were born and died, fighting for it. So, it's only natural for me to repay everything it has given me," said Jiryoku. Only Jiryoku knew if what he said was a pun.
Hiruzen nodded in satisfaction and said, "I have approved your request to only attend taijutsu classes."
"Thank you, Hokage-sama," said Jiryoku humbly.
