Chapter 27: Chapter 27: The Path of Legends Begins
The early morning mist still clung to the training grounds as Team 7 split off for their individual training. Each had their own path to walk, their own burdens to carry, but the goal remained the same—to grow stronger.
Naruto's Training – The Path of the Yellow Flash
Naruto stood before Kakashi, bouncing on his toes, barely able to contain his excitement.
"So, how do we start? Do I throw a kunai and—"
Kakashi raised a hand, silencing him. "Before you even think about teleporting, we need to work on your chakra control. The Flying Raijin isn't just about speed; it's about precision. If you lose control for even a second, you'll teleport into a wall… or worse."
Naruto gulped. "Okay… so what do I do?"
Kakashi pulled out a kunai marked with the special sealing formula. "Step one: learn to sense the seal. Flying Raijin is tied to space-time ninjutsu. If you can't feel the mark's presence, you won't be able to teleport to it. So for now, focus."
Naruto frowned and stared at the kunai. "Feel the seal? What's that even supposed to mean?"
"Close your eyes," Kakashi instructed.
Naruto hesitated but obeyed.
"Now, stretch out your senses. Your chakra isn't just about brute force—it's an extension of yourself. Minato could feel his marks across an entire battlefield. Start small. Find the kunai in front of you."
Naruto scrunched his face in concentration.
Nothing.
Kakashi sighed. "This… is going to take a while."
Sasuke's Training – Refining the Sharingan
Elsewhere, Asuma led Sasuke to a secluded area near the cliffs outside the village. The wind howled, leaves dancing in the air.
"Alright, Uchiha. Before we get into combat, let's see where your Sharingan stands," Asuma said, pulling out a pair of trench knives. The blades crackled with chakra. "Come at me."
Sasuke activated his two-tomoe Sharingan. "Don't hold back."
Asuma smirked. "You sure about that?"
Sasuke didn't answer—he shot forward, kunai in hand, aiming for Asuma's side.
Asuma deflected effortlessly, twisting his body and bringing his trench knife down. Sasuke barely dodged, rolling backward. His Sharingan caught the movements, but Asuma was fast.
Too fast.
Sasuke clenched his teeth. He needed more speed. More power.
"You're relying too much on your eyes," Asuma said, flipping his trench knife. "The Sharingan is a tool, but it won't carry you if your body can't keep up."
Sasuke lunged again, faster this time. Their blades clashed, sparks flying. Asuma smirked. "Better."
Sasuke knew he had a long way to go. But he wasn't about to stop now.
Sakura's Training – Strength Beyond Limits
At the hospital, Sakura followed Tsunade through the halls, watching as medics rushed to and from rooms. The smell of antiseptic filled the air.
"Your first lesson," Tsunade said, stopping at a door. "Medical ninjutsu isn't just about healing. It's about saving lives under pressure."
Sakura peered into the room. A wounded shinobi lay on the bed, his chest wrapped in bloodied bandages. He groaned in pain.
"He needs immediate treatment," Tsunade said. "What do you do?"
Sakura swallowed. "I… I don't know."
Tsunade's eyes hardened. "Then learn. Fast."
Sakura's hands trembled as she moved forward. This was nothing like training with Kakashi. This was real. Life and death.
Tsunade placed a hand on her shoulder. "Breathe. Focus. Feel your chakra flow."
Sakura took a deep breath, placing her hands over the wound. Slowly, her chakra flared to life, green energy seeping into the injured man's body.
Tsunade watched closely. She has potential. Now, we need to sharpen it.
Sakura's journey was just beginning.

But outside the village, the world was changing. And soon, their strength would be tested like never before.
