"Hmm, what is this?"

Danzo had been staring into Saitama's eyes, mesmerized by the intoxicating patterns within them, yet he still sensed something unusual.

Boom! But it was already too late! Saitama had unleashed his final trump card.

[Amaterasu] — Black flames instantly emerged, directly burning onto Danzo before he could react.

"Ahhh! Ahhh!"

Danzo hastily stumbled backward, his cane dropping straight to the ground.

Continuous screams burst from Danzo as a mass of black flame clung to him like a flesh-eating parasite, relentlessly devouring him!

"Lord Danzo!"

The Root ninja cried out in alarm. Their ninjutsu binding Saitama became unstable, but they quickly regained their composure and tightly restrained Saitama once more.

Boom! Saitama's use of Amaterasu on Danzo didn't stop there. His gaze shifted toward the markings on the ground.

Thin threads of black flame began scorching those sigils. The dark runes twisted wildly and were quickly destroyed, while the fire of Amaterasu spread continuously along interconnected symbols, consuming them all.

Over there, Danzo's screams continued echoing. Over here, the sigils trapping Saitama were being slowly destroyed.

Snap!

Saitama collapsed onto the floor. The dense markings across his body had vanished; the ninjutsu binding him was destroyed.

"Ugh!" Blood streamed from the corners of his eyes as Saitama groaned in pain, one hand clutching his left eye.

"Lord Danzo!" Several Root ninja landed beside Danzo, but his condition looked dire now. Black flames completely engulfed him, his screams growing weaker.

[Water Release] One of the Root ninja performed a water technique, attempting to douse the black flames devouring Danzo, but it proved useless.

Eventually, several Root ninja dared not touch Danzo anymore, only standing helplessly nearby.

Huff! Huff! Seizing the opportunity, Saitama gasped for air greedily.

He no longer had the strength to resist; his stamina was nearly depleted.

"He should be dead by now?" Saitama glanced at Danzo's motionless body, the black flames still burning fiercely around him.

"This should be even enough payback. Now it's time to escape."

Saitama didn't believe Danzo could survive a move like Amaterasu at this point.

To unleash this jutsu, he had pushed his Sharingan to its absolute limit, not even having time to summon Susanoo.

Looking at the few enemies slowly turning toward him, Saitama leaned on his sword and rose back up.

The Sharingan remained in Mangekyou mode. Just staring at those enemies like that made them unwilling to step forward.

"What an incredible ninjutsu!"

A voice called out from behind Saitama, sending chills down his spine.

He recognized its owner all too well!

Saitama turned hurriedly, but a fist arrived faster, reaching right beside his cheek as he turned.

Crack! The punch slammed heavily into Saitama's left cheek, disbelief flashing in his eyes.

Thud! Saitama crashed to the ground and slid backward, his weakened body rolling over helplessly as it tumbled across the floor.

"What does this mean?"

Saitama was puzzled. Wasn't Danzo supposed to be burning from Amaterasu? There was no way that could have been a Substitution Jutsu or Genjutsu. Saitama kept his face stern and stared at Danzo.

He shifted his gaze toward Danzo's right side—it confirmed what he had suspected.

The pale white skin was grafted crudely onto half of Danzo's body.

After throwing a punch that sent Saitama flying backward, Danzo did not continue attacking. Instead, he stood still, using his left hand to tear away the bandages covered in Sealing Runes wrapped around his right arm.

As he unwound them, Danzo began speaking.

"One of my most treasured possessions—ruined by you! But your eyes will exactly compensate for my losses."

Clank! As the last of the bandages dropped to the ground, Saitama witnessed something eerily familiar.

Embedded within Danzo's arm were three eyes. One had already turned into a lifeless, colorless white orb. The other two still held spinning Three-Tomoe patterns within them.

A chilling sight!

"So that's how it is!" Saitama glared at Danzo's arm, understanding everything instantly.

He had assumed Danzo didn't have enough Sharingan eyes to perform Izanagi.

Clearly, he had underestimated the man. How could someone so obsessed with the Sharingan possibly wait until after the Uchiha clan's destruction to start collecting their eyes?

"You probably haven't heard of this technique before—Izanagi—the perfect Ninjutsu of the Uchiha clan! Each use blinds one eye permanently."

Danzo raised his right arm to chest level. The bandages over his right eye were also removed, revealing a Three-Tomoe Sharingan now rotating within his socket.

Bowing his head slightly forward, Danzo looked down at the useless Sharingan on his arm and smiled.

Trading one ordinary Three-Tomoe Sharingan for a pair of Mangekyou eyes—he thought it was worth it!

"How ironic! Uchiha's secret arts being used against Uchiha ninja."

Despite shaking slightly, Saitama stood straighter. His chakra reserves were completely exhausted.

Yet a smile spread across his face as he met Danzo's gaze.

"As a hero…die here upon this battlefield then—Saitama Uchiha!"

Tearing through flesh echoed loudly. His pupils contracted sharply as his body jerked violently. A pale hand had pierced straight through his chest while Danzo tightly pressed against him.

Splatter! Blood burst forth from Saitama's mouth as he quietly gazed at Danzo. He looked helpless.

Danzo's Sharingan fixed on Saitama's eyes as he watched the light fading from them. Their Mangekyou patterns slowly faded back into Three-Tomoe rings, then finally into ordinary black-and-white eyes.

"Konoha will remember you, won't it?"

Slowly pulling his hand free, Danzo spoke firmly and deliberately to Saitama as blood poured steadily from the wound, splashing onto the ground below.

"Heh!" Saitama cast a sidelong glance at Danzo. His hair visibly whitened before their very eyes—he was going all-in.

"What!?"

Unsure and alarmed, Danzo leaped backward. His left arm crossed protectively before his chest while he carefully monitored Saitama's every movement.

He definitely noticed Saitama's change—but couldn't tell what kind of new secret technique was about to unfold. After all, the Mangekyou always held countless mysteries.

Although he was part of Konoha High-level Leadership and had seen all known Uchiha ninjutsu techniques within his reach, facing the Mangekyou still demanded his utmost caution.

Take for example that black flame from earlier—Amaterasu—he knew absolutely nothing about it.

"Lord Kitsuchi, scout ninja have detected a barrier ahead!"

A Stone Shinobi reported to Kitsuchi.

"I'm not blind. I see it!" Kitsuchi gazed deeply at the purple-glowing barrier in front of him, his face remaining calm.

"Move toward it—we'll investigate what's going on. Stay alert and prepare for battle at all times!"

Kitsuchi raised his arm and charged ahead, swiftly closing in on the barrier.

Nearly a hundred shinobi followed closely behind Kitsuchi as they advanced.

Danzo watched Saitama, whose hair had turned white and whose eyes were constantly bleeding.

Saitama burned with intense killing intent toward Danzo. Though his chakra was completely drained, he forcefully used up his life force to activate [Susanoo], draining all the ocular power from his eyes in an instant.

He originally intended to use [Amaterasu] again, but in his current condition—even by consuming his own life force—he couldn't use it repeatedly, nor could it sustain its killing effectiveness.

"DIE!" Saitama directly controlled the Susanoo to swing its blade downward at Danzo, who skillfully dodged.

"Attack together! End this quickly!" Danzo understood this was Saitama's final counterattack; without hesitation, he ordered his subordinates to join the fight.

Several Root ninja witnessed Danzo emerge unharmed from the side, having successfully dodged the black flames. They didn't flinch—these men were utterly loyal to Danzo. As long as he was safe, everything was fine.
