"You? How are you still standing? There's no way you can still move!"

Boruto, not only back on his feet but radiating waves of chakra, astonished everyone around him. His energy felt restored, and determination sparked in his eyes.

But as Merz glanced at Wuming lying unconscious behind Boruto, realization struck him. "Ah, it's because of Nanashi... But ultimately, it won't change a thing. This is the end."

Boruto ignored Merz's taunts, flashing back to the moment he was knocked aside. In that instant, Nanashi had stirred awake, her eyes fluttering open, only to see Boruto out cold.

Though weak, Nanashi had summoned her strength to reach out, her voice a fragile whisper. "I... despise... the ninja world... and all its ninjas... but... if you're here... maybe... this world still has hope..." Her hand grasped his, a faint blue light radiating from their connection.

Remembering that moment, Boruto turned to Nanashi, a resolute expression on his face. "Just hold on. I'll make this right, and I'll be back soon."

"What's the point of transferring your chakra? It's a futile effort," Merz sneered, dismissing Boruto's resolve.

Boruto approached Naruto and Sasuke, his demeanor serious. Both had taken on a heavy burden, their powers dwindling due to their previous battle's result and Merz's influences to Naruto.

Merz's disdainful laugh echoed. "This battle is beyond a child's interference."

Boruto clenched his fists, rage bubbling within. "You've gone too far! This era was built on the sacrifices of Dad and his friends after overcoming their challenges, and you want to tear it apart! I can't let you mess it all up!"

His voice surged with emotion as he pointed a finger at Merz, fury ablaze in his eyes. "But what I can't stand the most is how you used Nanashi, a person who suffered. You don't see her as anything more than a tool!"

Merz scoffed, "You're a fool. Nanashi is just a weapon. Who cares how it's used?"

"Nanashi is my friend!" Boruto shouted, his voice ringing with righteous anger. "No, Nanashi is my friend! There's no way I would ever forgive you! After everything you've done to her!"

Merz was taken aback for just a moment until a bead of cold sweat trickled down his neck. He shook his head, disbelief clouding his thoughts. He was sweating? From a Genin who relied on Nanashi's chakra? Impossible! He was the god of the new era, meant to inspire fear, not be frightened by a child!

"I was planning on killing everyone associated with the Kages... In that case, I'll put you down right here!"

Suddenly, two commanding figures appeared by Boruto's side: his father, Uzumaki Naruto, and his mentor, Uchiha Sasuke.

"It's infuriating to see you risk everything for someone insignificant, Uzumaki Boruto!" Merz summoned a torrent of magatama, unleashing them towards his foes.

"Don't you realize the depth of her suffering?"

As Boruto argued back, Naruto swiftly called upon Kurama, whose massive head appeared behind him, unleashing a series of tailed beast bombs that collided with the oncoming magatama, shattering them in illuminating explosions.

"I know, but what of it? That's her fate! A fate sealed from the beginning, unchangeable," Merz replied coldly, commanding Susanoo to raise its sword for a crushing strike.

Naruto instinctively pulled Boruto and Sasuke to the side, narrowly avoiding the cataclysm as Merz's blade cleaved the ground, leaving a gaping rift behind.

"I simply utilized her abilities effectively. This is her happiness as a weapon."

Boruto's voice boomed with defiance. "Don't impose your twisted ideologies on her life! She's a person, not a weapon!"

In that moment, Sasuke infused Amaterasu into his Kusanagi sword, launching a black crescent toward Merz.

Merz raised a hand to block, but Amaterasu detonated upon impact, forcing Susanoo's palm to shatter. Merz, however, only sneered, "Even if I treated her like a human, she would still be disposed of after my use. That is her unchangeable fate. It's inevitable!"

Naruto hurled a Rasenshuriken at Merz Susanoo's weak point. 

"You're wrong! Destiny is malleable! I've witnessed countless individuals alter their fates, even Pain, who you so admire!"

Seeing the destructive aftermath of Amaterasu, Merz hurriedly commanded Susanoo to leap away, but another hidden Rasenshuriken struck true, ripping through Susanoo's right leg.

The ground shook as Merz's colossal form collapsed, missing a leg, fury igniting within him. "This is why he will never ascend to godhood!"

Meanwhile, Sasuke materialized half of his Susanoo, an arrow of Amaterasu forming with lethal intent. "To me, you're just a pitiful soul shackled by outdated beliefs, dreaming of becoming a god. How ridiculous."

Merz, brimming with anger, unleashed another wave of magatama, aiming for desperation. "Tsk! You detestable pests! Why do you persist? Your time has passed!"

"Enough of your self-indulgent delusions! The era built by my father and his friends will live on through us!"

As Boruto shouted defiantly, Sasuke unleashed his Amaterasu arrow, guiding it impeccably with Kagutsuchi, transforming it into a torrent of arrows raining down.

With relentless explosions echoing, the battlefield erupted into chaos, magatama and darkness clashing in a spectacular display.

Even so, the relentless power of Sasuke's Amaterasu couldn't be matched. Within moments, the magatama were consumed, and all remaining arrows rained down upon Merz's red Susanoo.

Blasts rocked the ground as Merz staggered, his mighty form collapsing as he gasped for breath. "How... is this possible? I'm being suppressed..."

In disbelief, Merz watched as the reality of his defeat unfolded. The Seventh Hokage, drained of chakra, the nearly-exhausted Uchiha, and the Genin drawing on the chakra energy of Nanashi... how could they bring him down?

[Uchiha Madara: He's enormous, yet he moves embarrassingly slow. What a waste of chakra.]

[Uzumaki Naruto: It's because of that same slowness that the outcome remains uncertain.]

[Uchiha Sasuke: Frankly, Merz is indulging in his own weakness.]

[Hatake Kakashi: Yet it's also due to Naruto's unwavering strength that they can contend against an enemy like this.]

[Uchiha Obito: That only underscores your weakness.]

[Hatake Kakashi: Obito? How did you...?

[Uchiha Obito: I'm not here to chat! Get lost!]

[Hatake Kakashi: Obito, where are you? Obito!]
