Naruto: Corrupting my Naruto

(3rd PoV)

Zabuza completed bandaging Haku's arm. His entire left arm was cut off by Naruto's wind chakra infused kunai.

If it wasn't for Naruto's aim being somewhat off, and the speed of the kunais being slowed down by the obstacles in path which it pierced through, Haku would have died.

"I apologize Zabuza-sama."

"It's not your fault. Focus on recovering."

Zabuza sighed as he thought about the situation.

Why did two Jonins from Konoha come? And not some regular Jonin.

Kakashi Hatake. One of the most powerful and dangerous person in the world. Many people say that he is the most likely person to become the next Hokage.

After failing to assassinate Fourth Mizukage, Zabuza understands that there is a very large gap between a Jonin and a Kage level ninja. And Hokage are always the strongest Kage.

Most recently, he had eliminated Five tails jinchuriki, who is known for speed, strength, and most importantly, steam release.

And if Haku who is around 13 years old can be considered a Special Jonin, that yellow haired brat wasn't anyone ordinary.

Creating that many Shadow Clones and using Wind Style to such a degree...

Haku is no match for him.

Taking hostage will be impossible...

How did Tazuna even managed to hire two teams? On Gato's order, Zabuza himself stole almost all the money Tazuna had. It was quite a large sum.

Forget it. He has to complete the mission given to him by his employer. Even if it results in death-

"Zabuza! You scum! You failed to complete the mission!?"

Hearing Gato's shout, Zabuza came out to see what his employer wants.

But, he was stunned to see that yellow hair brat with him.

Oh. So it was Gato that commissioned Konoha for a team?

Is Konoha double crossing Tazuna?

Sure enough. All ninja villages are the same.

"Kill him."

Gato ordered the yellow brat.

"So you are betraying me Gato?"

Gato scoffed.

"I have no use of a weakling like you."

Zabuza didn't underestimate the kid, and pulled out a kunai. Ready to flee with Haku. The jonins must be hiding close as well.

Unexpectedly, the yellow haired brat stabbed Gato, and said, "If you are willing to betray your stronger employee, won't you betray me as well?"

Gato died without being able to retort anything. Neither he nor Zabuza even realise that Naruto was testing the 'Puppet Seal' to see if Gato will say anything Naruto didn't want him to. Like the, 'Zabuza betraying Gato along with his goons'.

And puppet seal is just a B-rank jutsu. Considering that genutsu will achieve same result, though it will be easier to detect.

Will it work on ninjas or not? That is still required to be tested.

Zabuza was still cautious. Afterall, he is an A-rank missing nin.

"Say Zabuza-san, if an employer pays you, will you betray if someone pays you more?"

"No."

"Then I have a long term job for you and your friend. Protect Land of Waves from the coming missing-nins who create chaos. And recruit the good missing-nins into a Waves Police to protect this country."

"Who is paying?"

"Shiori-sama."

"Never heard of her."

"..."

Naruto sighed and said, "You and your friend, follow me. I will take you to your new employer."

Zabuza decided to take Haku with him. Afterall, it is better to stick together in a dangerous situation. If Kakashi decides to hunt them down, they will not survive anyway.

Back at Tazuna's house, Tazuna had just finished telling his story.

Apparently, even after earning a lot of money through construction of Uzumaki Palace, Uzumaki Park and Uzumaki Mall, it was all stolen by Gato's goons. And the situation wasn't much different from canon.

Inari screamed for them to go back. That Gato will kill them.

Shiori finished drinking water from her water bottle, and smiled at the kid.

"Kid, the days of oppression from Gato is over. Do you want to see a bright future?"

Before Inari could shout and argue, Naruto's shadow clone arrived. And behind him, arrived Zabuza and Haku, who was missing an arm.

Kakashi strangely didn't bother looking up from his book, while Yugao was looking tense.

Naruto's shadow clone popped, and Naruto said after receiving the memories.

"Gato and his goons have been killed."

Tazuna his daughter and grandson were shocked.

"Impossible!"

Inari shouted in disbelief.

"We can go to the Daimyo's palace where Gato was staying as a 'guest'.

Anyway, these two guys here, Zabuza and..."

"Haku."

The beautiful boy told his name.

"Right. These two guys will be now under Tazuna's command. Protecting the country from any other Gato appearing.

Let's draw up a contract."

Shiori looked at Kakashi and Yugao-sensei, Yugao looked at Kakashi, and Kakashi just said, "Let Shiori deal with it."

He seemed more interested in what will happen when the tentacle monster and Ichika will meet. This Sai has great drawing and storytelling.

And well, his task here is just to protect the kids and observe.

Shiori took out a scroll, and started writing down the contract.

1. Shiori, the chairwoman of Waves Company, will employ Tazuna, Zabuza and Haku.

2. Tazuna will be the CEO of the company, and all other employees will be under his command.

3. Zabuza and Haku will be responsible for dealing with the missing-nins and criminals that may appear in the Waves. They will do the screening for the missing-nins, eliminate those who cause trouble, and employ those who want to peacefully live in the Waves. But as immigrants, they will need to pay more taxes and any bad behaviour will lead to expulsion.

4. Zabuza and Haku will do all odd-jobs that Tazuna tells them to. Harming anyone is strictly prohibited.

She had them look at the contract.

Tazuna said, "It's just a piece of paper. Zabuza executed Inari's stepfather, and he stole all my money. How can I trust him?"

Shiori nodded. For the people of Waves, Zabuza is indeed the criminal. Placing Zabuza in a high position will indeed be a problem.

"What do you suggest Tazuna-san? More missing-nins will come from Land of Water. You will need Zabuza's strength to fend them off...

Oh.

How about making Haku the police chief, while Zabuza being not only the prison guard, but also building the bridge and doing labour for 5 years and having to donate 90% of his whole salary?"

Kakashi said, "Why not eliminate Zabuza? He killed his graduation class, so he is known as the Demon of Mist."

Haku stood in front of Zabuza protectively.

"I will not let you touch Zabuza-sama."

"Then let's just eliminate both-"

Shiori shook her head.

"While that will indeed benefit Konoha, since Konoha will be commissioned for protection of my investments, we can't send the message that Konoha is involved in a foreign country.

If Zabuza makes any mistakes, I will issue an S-rank mission to eliminate him and Haku.

And, Zabuza will know about the missing-nins from Land of Water the best. If the missing-nins from Land of Fire come here, they need to be eliminated without question. But, Land of Water is different. Their missing-nins might even be more aligned with us.

Well, I will leave the decision to Kakashi-sensei."

If Kakashi really wants to eliminate them, there is nothing Shiori can do. She will just have to give up her freezer guy which will make her profit.

Zabuza took out a kunai, and pressed it against his own neck.

"I am the one who has hurt this country. Haku hasn't done anything. So, after I die, I hope you will treat Haku well. He is an ice-release user, and is not registered in Kiri. He is not an official ninja, much less a missing-nin."

Before Zabuza could stab himself, Kakashi appeared behind him and stopped him from killing himself.

"Zabuza will indeed be great for Intel on Kiri, and dealing with the missing-nins.

Land of Waves' security will be handled by Konoha. And Zabuza and Haku will cooperate in just killing the missing-nins."

Well, I don't really care if the money goes to Konoha or some missing-nins. It's just that missing-nins will be cheaper.

"Alright. Tazuna, these guys are yours. Have Haku preserve food and stuff. I will not interfere in your decisions."

In the end, Tazuna chose to play it safe and not do anything to Zabuza. Afterall, when the Konoha shinobi leave, he doesn't want this Haku to take revenge. They didn't seem to be intent on killing children.

Shiori ordered Zabuza to burn Gato's corpse in front of the people on a stake, after letting them vent out their anger on him.

He also did majority of the bridge building labour, and while people were afraid of him, nothing could be done about the hatred and fear in such a short time.

Shiori took over all of Gato's assets and companies, and met with the Waves Daimyo who was finally able to live in his own mansion.

In a week, the bridge connecting Land of Fire and Waves was complete.

"What should we name this bridge?"

Tazuna asked his people.

Shiori gave a suggestion.

"Bridge of Hope?"

Naming it Uzumaki bridge or Shiori or Naruto bridge will be too tacky.

"Bridge of Hope huh?"

Most people liked the name, and the mission came to an end.

"Boss, my sword?"

Zabuza asked Shiori, and she just shrugged.

"Try to buy it back if we put it on auction."

Saying their goodbyes, Team 7 and 14 returned to Konoha.

"Home sweet home..."
