Chapter 189: The Powerful Ghost!

Upon learning how much longer Sasuke's Susanoo could last, Kakashi began formulating strategies frantically in his mind.

However, the best strategies are always those that adapt to the unpredictability of battle.

Naruto suddenly dashed out of Sasuke's Susanoo, holding a Sage Art Rasengan in his hand, charging directly toward the ghost.

"Naruto!"

Kakashi instinctively shouted upon seeing this, then slapped his forehead in frustration.

The ghost looked at the charging Naruto with a sinister smile and astonishingly pulled out a massive Zanpakutō.

The ghost swung the giant blade directly at Naruto's Sage Art Rasengan.

The ghost deftly dodged with a roll and, surprisingly, drew another massive Zanpakutō with his left hand, aiming for Susanoo.

Naruto, who had been sent flying by the shockwave earlier, also got back on his feet.

Since direct confrontation won't work, then let's find a way around his attacks!

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

After Naruto formed the seals, countless clones appeared in front of the ghost.

"Ha? Ninjutsu? Do you think mere clones can take me down?"

The ghost sneered, swinging one blade at Naruto's clones while blocking Kakashi's attack with the other.

"Such quick reflexes. As expected of the strongest ghost. It seems taking you down won't be easy," Kakashi said slowly, seemingly praising the ghost.

In reality, he was baiting him!

Kakashi's tactic was to inflate the ghost's ego and wait for him to make a mistake.

Meanwhile, Naruto and his clones easily evaded the ghost's strikes, then charged forward.

Are you kidding me? These clones are infused with Sage Art energy. How could they be so easily dispelled?

Unfortunately, the ghost's reactions were just as swift.

As Naruto charged, the ghost leapt into the air, attempting to escape.

This gave Sasuke the perfect opening to attack.

Frowning, the ghost was forced to redirect one of his Zanpakutō to block the incoming Chidori.

Both of the ghost's Zanpakutō were occupied, leaving him open to Naruto's attack.

"Sage Art: Giant Rasengan!"

With a loud shout, Naruto's Rasengan swelled in size before smashing directly into the ghost.

Boom!

The ghost was slammed into the ground by Naruto's Sage Art: Giant Rasengan.

However, this didn't mean the ghost was defeated.

Seeing the ghost's condition with his Sharingan, Sasuke immediately commanded Susanoo to strike down with its sword.

Unexpectedly, the ghost raised his right hand and caught Susanoo's blade!

With a powerful tug, he threw Susanoo to the ground.

"That really hurt. That last move of yours was pretty good—almost killed me," the ghost said with a smile, slowly standing up.
