Chapter 194: Gold Comes Knocking!
Ghosts fear few things, but at the top of the list are Might Guy and Rock Lee.
Originally, Neji and Tenten were also involved, but since they couldn't see ghosts, they didn't join Guy and Lee in exorcising them.
The reason Guy and Lee could see ghosts was purely due to their training in the Eight Gates. Additionally, their overflowing vitality made the ghosts terrified of them.
If that were all, it might have been manageable. However, their appearance unnerved the ghosts even more. Imagine being chased by two green-clad "monsters" and getting kicked with terrifying force—it's no wonder the ghosts fled in panic at the mere sight of them.
Unfortunately for the ghosts, most couldn't escape. Not only were Guy and Lee incredibly fast, but their stamina was also unmatched. Some ghosts even dissipated from exhaustion while trying to flee!

"I didn't expect all three of them to be so seriously injured. It seems that ghost was no ordinary one," said Jiraiya with a sigh.
"More than just extraordinary," Tsunade added. "That ghost even had the ability to create a ghostly domain and pull others into it. If Ishihara hadn't arrived in time, they'd have all been devoured by it. Honestly, even I might not have escaped if I'd been there."
Jiraiya nodded solemnly. "Good thing the ghost was taken care of."
Tsunade glanced at Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi, who were all lying on hospital beds. The sight made her scalp tingle, leaving her deeply uneasy. Losing three key figures in the village all at once created significant challenges.
This situation left Tsunade with no choice but to find a way to keep Jiraiya in the village. Her gaze toward him grew intense, making Jiraiya visibly uncomfortable.
"What's with that look? Is something wrong?" he asked hesitantly.
Seizing the opportunity, Tsunade replied, "The village is short-handed right now. If you leave, it could deal a massive blow to us. The daimyo has already issued an order—funding will only continue if all the ghosts are eradicated."
Jiraiya sighed, realizing he couldn't escape this time. It seemed he'd have to stay in Konoha for a while.

"Looks like I've hit my limit. But who would've thought the Tailed Beasts could still enhance my power?"
In a hidden cave, Uchiha Madara clenched his fists, relishing the surge of power flowing through his body. Despite his excitement, he lamented that he could no longer grow stronger.
However, knowing that the chakra of the Tailed Beasts could still enhance his strength, he developed a keen interest in the One-Tail.
"If I'm not mistaken, the One-Tail should be the first to revive."
Madara rested his chin on his hand and commanded, "Someone, investigate the whereabouts of the One-Tail's chakra."
"Yes, Lord Uchiha Madara!"
Outside the cave, a ghost responded, and shortly after, countless ghosts began moving in all directions to carry out the order.

"One thousand eight hundred and sixty-four. Why are there more and more ghosts lately?"
After killing yet another ghost, Kin looked ahead with a puzzled expression. He could sense more ghosts approaching him in an unending wave.
These ghosts seemed fearless, and their strength was far from ordinary.
"Could it be that something extraordinary has happened in the ninja world?" Kin muttered to himself.
Suddenly, four ghosts surrounded him.
"So, you're the one killing our comrades?"
"Hmph, you should be thankful Lord Uchiha Madara didn't act personally. Otherwise, you'd be dead for sure!"
"Even so, running into us is your bad luck!"
"Hahaha, exactly! We're the ones qualified to wear masks!"
"Brothers, let's show him our power!"
The four ghosts donned their masks, and an overwhelming pressure descended upon Kin.
But Kin didn't even flinch, his composure shocking the ghosts.
Others might not understand their power, but the ghosts knew it well—their combined pressure could crush an ordinary human to death instantly.
"That's it? If you're this weak, Uchiha Madara must be even weaker," Kin taunted, striking a nerve with the ghosts.
Without another word, the four ghosts lunged at him. Their claws tore through the air as they charged.
Kin, however, casually leapt aside, dodging their attack and landing several meters away.
"You're stronger than the others, but if this is all you've got, it's still not enough!"
