The wind jutsu roared, slicing through the air with a deafening sound that made eardrums ache, and the ground trembled violently beneath their feet, sending shivers down their spines!

No one had expected the battle to escalate to this level right from the start.

"It's you!" Baki's pupils shrank as he recognized the familiar uniform. Of course, he couldn't reveal his secret dealings with Akatsuki in front of Gojo Kaigetsu. He could only say with apprehension, "Why are you here?! Are you… Akasuna no Sasori's accomplice?"

Konan's voice was altered by the mask. "Our goals are twofold: kill Gojo Kaigetsu and take control of the Ryūmyaku."

"We have no intention of being enemies with Suna. Leave now."

"Heh—" Baki laughed out of pure rage. "Saying you have no intention of being enemies with Suna in the Land of Wind? There's no need to talk further. Kill them!"

Killing Gojo Kaigetsu was naturally a good thing, and Baki was all for it—

But the Ryūmyaku? Unless they walked over his subordinates' corpses—it was impossible!

That was the future development direction of Sunagakure!
