The silent atmosphere assured her that the demon had left.

Her physical strength had also slightly recovered, though her body, tormented earlier, felt weak and exhausted.

That guy was truly a pervert. She couldn't help but touch her stomach. Could she really be pregnant?

If that were the case, what should she do? She felt an overwhelming sadness at having encountered such a situation.

And even before leaving, that guy hadn't revealed his identity.

But even if he had, what could she do? The opponent was so strong; how could she possibly take revenge on her own?

She also decided not to report this matter to the Fourth Raikage.

It was far too humiliating. If the entire village knew, it would be a lifetime of shame. She wouldn't have the face to appear before others again.

She sighed inwardly.

She hadn't expected to be ambushed on the border, where all but her had been killed, and she herself had been violated for an entire day and night. How could she explain this upon returning to the village?

She could only take things one step at a time.

She picked up her scattered clothes, put them on, and carefully tidied herself.

After carefully inspecting her body to ensure no visible traces of violation remained, she took a deep breath.

Then, she headed toward the border.

Not long after, she encountered Kumogakure ninja sent to retrieve them at the border. After explaining what had happened, the responding Kumogakure ninja were furious.

They immediately proposed reporting this to the Fourth Raikage and thoroughly investigating the matter to determine whether Konoha ninja, rogue shinobi at the border, bandits, or other forces were responsible.

Before leaving, they collected the bodies of their fallen comrades and brought them back to Kumogakure.

In the Kumogakure council hall.

The Fourth Raikage sat at the head, listening to Samui's report, his expression growing darker, emitting a terrifying aura that filled the room with palpable pressure.

The Fourth Raikage glared at Samui, his face showing barely contained rage. His anger wasn't directed at Samui but at the person who attacked Kumogakure's ninja.

"Did you find out who it was? Was it someone from the Uchiha clan?"

Samui had just mentioned that the attacker had a three-tomoe Sharingan.

Samui shook her head and said, "I don't know. The person was wearing black clothes, a hood, and a mask, but from under the mask, I could see the Sharingan. I escaped while the person wasn't paying attention."

Of course, she couldn't admit she had been captured and humiliated for a day and night.

The Fourth Raikage fell into deep thought. Could it be that the Uchiha clan didn't want to negotiate peace and secretly ambushed them to provoke a war between Konoha and Kumogakure, hoping to benefit from the conflict?

So it likely wasn't an Uchiha behind this. If it were someone else, who could it be?

This severely weakened Konoha, giving Kumogakure the confidence to pressure them now.

If Minato Namikaze were still alive, no matter how strong Kumogakure was, they would never have dared to implement the Konoha Breeding Plan.

He had fought Minato before; in a one-on-one fight, one misstep could have cost him his life.

Thinking of his old rival brought a sense of nostalgia.

Though his strength had grown significantly, he regretted never defeating his rival. Was it that man who acted—the one claiming to be Madara Uchiha?

But hadn't Madara been dead for years?

Even if he were alive, he would be ancient by now.

He said to the head of the Anbu, "Give the fallen Kumogakure ninja a proper burial. They're heroes of the village. Also, investigate this thoroughly. Find out who's behind this."

The Anbu leader nodded, accepting the order. "Yes, Raikage-sama."

Meanwhile, another ninja suggested, "We still need to investigate the ambush to identify the culprit."

"But Konoha's aggression can't go unanswered, Raikage-sama. Should we retaliate?"

One particularly angry ninja proposed,

"Raikage-sama, let's prepare for war immediately. Kumogakure has never been looked down upon like this."

"Konoha's current strength is not what it used to be. If we prepare properly, we have a good chance of winning."

The Fourth Raikage's face darkened upon hearing this. Though he was usually brash, he wasn't brainless.

Both the Uchiha and Hyuga clans were preparing to fight, and each clan was formidable with powerful kekkei genkai.

Facing such power, Kumogakure risked heavy losses and even defeat. And with Iwagakure's treachery, he couldn't risk a full-scale war.

The Raikage lamented the situation. How had these two powerful clans aligned? The Uchiha clan's relationship with Konoha had clearly soured after the Nine-Tails incident.

The Third Hokage was weak and indecisive. If only he had taken a stand, things would've been better for everyone. Kumogakure might've secured the Byakugan, and Konoha could have avoided war.

But the Raikage had no choice but to focus on their next steps.

The council room grew noisy as the discussion continued.

The Fourth Raikage bellowed, "Silence! The council room has turned into a marketplace."

"I'll handle this matter personally and demand an explanation. There's no need for a full-scale war."

With his current strength, there was no one in Konoha who could rival him.
