Chapter 25: Chapter 10:Almost Abducted!

It was summer vacation for the first-year academy students, a time of fun and relaxation. As they got some rest time before their second year in the academy, However, a trio of orphans—Naruko, Hitomi, and Yuto—could be seen training relentlessly in the woods, working on their chakra control.

Naruko, after reaching a certain height on the tree, lost her balance and landed on her behind. "Why do I always fall right when I'm close to the top!" she grumbled, rubbing her back. "I thought this will be fun to learn after that boring leaf sticking exercise, but now i am Second guessing my opinion."

Hitomi fell right after but quickly stood up, dusting herself off as she shot Naruko a sharp glance. "Shut up, Usuratonkachi. You're just distracted, not like me who is focused at my task and not thinking about ramen every second." she taunted, her sharingan flickering briefly in her eyes.

Naruko immediately bristled at the nickname. "Don't call me that, you stupid know-it-all!" She rushed back up the tree, with Hitomi chasing her, both girls bickering nonstop as they ran vertically. Before long, they both lost their concentration, tumbling down together.

Yuto, tuning out their endless arguments, stayed focused on his task. He calmly walked up the tree with three leaves stuck to his forehead, training with intense concentration. This was no ordinary tree-walking exercise for him. 'I need to complete this quest,' he thought to himself as he continued his climb. The leaves didn't budge an inch, his control solid despite the distractions. It had been 4 minutes Since he stuck them to his forehead.

Yuto's resolve strengthened as he trained, determined to complete the mission and claim his rewards. While Yuto continued his training alongside the bickering Naruko and Hitomi, the scene shifted to the underground Root base. Danzo sat in his dimly lit office, his face as unreadable as ever. One of his Root operatives knelt before him, informing him of an infiltration by three Grass ninjas into Konoha.

Danzo's eye gleamed with opportunity. "Don't kill them, manipulate them into running away with fake information, then make them run into Yuto and his group," he ordered coldly. "Let's see if the Nine-Tails jinchuriki can be provoked to go berserk. And I want to gauge both Yuto's Kamigan and Hitomi's potential. This may just give me the opportunity that i need."

The operative nodded, vanishing from the room as swiftly as he had come. Danzo leaned back, thoughts swirling about how this situation could play right into his plans. 'If Yuto's powers are as dangerous as I suspect, I need to know everything, especially the Kamigan, they could be used by me for the betterment of konoha.' Danzo thought, a small smile playing on his lips.

The scene shifted to three female Grass ninjas, moving swiftly through the trees. They had just obtained classified information after infiltrating and were discussing how weak the village seemed after the nine tails attack and the Uchiha massacre, speculating about the possibility of a Fourth Great Ninja War soon. However, they halted when they overheard young voices nearby—two female and one male. Hiding behind the trees, they spotted Yuto, Naruko, and Hitomi. The leader immediately recognized the Uchiha emblem on Hitomi's back and the Yamanaka clan symbol on Yuto's shirt. The trio saw an opportunity—they could sell these kekkei genkai users to Kumo, which had a history of abducting powerful bloodlines. The blond girl, with her unique red-highlighted hair, intrigued them, as they suspected she could be an Uzumaki, a clan known for their red hair and sealing techniques.

"Should we grab them?" one of the Grass ninjas asked in a whisper.

The leader nodded slowly, her eyes narrowing as she plotted. "Let's wait for the right moment. We need to take them by surprise, and then we'll sell them to Kumo. The rewards will be worth the risk." When the kids got close, the Chunin's took action.

As the Grass Chunin lunged forward, the kids looked shocked, their minds racing. Hitomi was the first to react. "What the—!?"

But before any harm could come to them, a tall earth wall shot up from the ground, blocking the attackers. Kakashi, masked and silent, appeared on top of the wall, his presence commanding.

"What's going on?" Hitomi asked, her voice shaky but determined.

Kakashi's tone was cold and direct. "Stay back. It's dangerous."

Naruko, always the curious one, tilted her head. "What do you mean, Anbu-uncle? We can help—"

Yuto wasn't having it. Grabbing both girls firmly, he activated his Kamigan, its crimson glow reflecting his focus. "Anbu-uncle can handle this. We'd just get in his way," he said, his voice sharp and calm.

Naruko pouted slightly but didn't resist as Yuto's Kamigan created a wave of illusions. "Ugh, again with the eyes!" she muttered under her breath.

Suddenly, the forest was filled with multiple Yutos, Hitomis, and Narukos, running in all directions. The real trio dashed away amidst the confusion. Yuto's mind raced as he led them to safety. 'Good. With this, no one will follow us. Now let's see what Kakashi-san can do.' Yuto looked in the direction of Kakashi as he saw everything in thermal vision from such a distance.

Kakashi, observing the illusion spread, smirked under his mask. "Clever kid."

The Grass ninjas realized they'd lost their advantage. The leader, her voice trembling, called out, "Wait! We surrender!"

Kakashi's eyes narrowed. "Surrender?" he repeated, almost mocking. "Too late."

With a blur of movement, two Kakashi clones appeared behind two of the ninjas, blades glinting. The sound of throats being slit filled the air as the leader froze, her eyes wide in terror.

"No!" she gasped, stepping back. But before she could make another move, Kakashi's real body appeared before her, his hand glowing with the crackling lightning of Chidori.

The last thing she saw was his masked face, emotionless, as he plunged his arm through her chest. "This is over," Kakashi said coldly, pulling his arm free.

The trio of Grass Chunin fell, lifeless. Kakashi dispelled his clones, cleaning his blade. "Root's always up to something," he murmured, his sharp eyes glancing into the trees.

He vanished in a flash, heading toward the trio. The root ninja who was hiding behind the tree had sweat running down his neck at the killing intent that Kakashi had sent his way.
