Chapter 227: Chapter 225: I Have No Fate That Needs Changing!

Chapter 225: I Have No Fate That Needs Changing!

"This island does not welcome pirates!"

"You must leave immediately!"

Realizing they were pirates, Dalton's tone became firm.

He wanted Yi and his crew gone.

"And if we don't?"

After spending so much time around Yi, Nojiko's personality had subtly shifted.

She wasn't the type to start trouble—

But she also wasn't the type to let others walk over her.

Being told to leave, just like that?

It irritated her.

"If you refuse, then we'll be forced to act!"

Dalton's stance stiffened, his eyes sharp.

"Heh."

"Then let's see you try!"

Nojiko's patience snapped.

She had just gained immense strength.

And now, she was itching to test it.

Her body—now enhanced beyond human limits—

Moved like a blur, leaving nothing but a gust of wind behind.

"Damn it! She's fast—!"

"FIRE!"

Dalton roared, but—

Too late.

With a single punch, Nojiko sent the first soldier sprawling.

A single kick took down the next.

Every strike landed with devastating force.

Within seconds, the entire squad was down—

Including Dalton, despite his Zoan: Bison-Bison Fruit powers.

"Whoa…"

Nojiko stared at her own hands, breathless.

This… this was her strength now?

It felt unreal.

She had gone from ordinary to unstoppable in a blink.

This was the power Yi gave her.

"Not bad, huh?"

Yi's voice carried over from the ship.

He stood at the railing, watching her effortless victory.

"It's… amazing!"

Nojiko turned, eyes shining.

"Thank you, Yi!"

A genuine, radiant smile spread across her face.

Yi chuckled.

"Now that you've got the power—"

"It's time to learn how to use it properly."

He leapt from the ship, landing beside her.

"Power without control is nothing."

"You've got the raw stats—"

"But technique and strategy matter just as much."

"Let's start with the basics."

From that moment—

Her training began.

Yi taught her Haki—

The essence of battle in the Grand Line.

He drilled her in the Six Powers, the martial arts of the Navy.

She learned speed, power, resilience, and will.

It was a lot to take in.

But Nojiko absorbed it all like a sponge.

This was her chance.

Her only chance—

To make sure she'd never be powerless again.

---

"You've been watching for a while now."

"Why not come say hello?"

Yi turned his gaze to the right—

Straight toward an empty alleyway.

At least—

It seemed empty.

But a second later—

A tall, dark-haired woman stepped out of the shadows.

Nico Robin.

Her expression was calm, but inwardly, she was rattled.

She had been so sure she was hidden.

Yet—

This man had seen through her instantly.

"How did you spot me?"

Her voice was cool, controlled.

But she was tense.

Yi smiled faintly.

"That's not a very good question."

"The real question is—"

"How could I not spot you?"

Robin's eyes narrowed.

What kind of monster was this man?

"Well then, strong pirate,"

She kept her voice light.

"What do you want?"

"If there's nothing, I'll be leaving now."

She turned slightly—ready to vanish again.

She needed distance from this man.

Something about him was too dangerous.

"You're too quick to run."

Yi said, hands in his pockets.

"You've been betrayed too many times, haven't you?"

Robin's body stiffened.

Yi's voice was casual, almost lazy—

But his words cut deep.

"That's why you don't trust anyone."

"That's why you're running now."

Robin didn't reply.

Her mask remained in place.

Yi exhaled.

"Listen."

"I'll make this simple."

"Do you want to change your fate?"

Robin's lips curled in amusement.

"Hmph."

"Thank you for your concern, but—"

"I have no fate that needs changing."

Her voice was smooth, unwavering.

She smiled—

And turned to leave.

Yi didn't stop her.

He simply watched.

In the end—

Everyone had to make their own choices.

Even if those choices led to loneliness.

"Fine."

"Go, then."

"But before you do—"

"Leave me the Log Pose to Alabasta."

Robin paused.

Then, after a long moment, she reached into her coat—

And tossed a small compass over her shoulder.

Yi caught it effortlessly.

Robin didn't look back.

She simply walked away, disappearing into the snowy streets.

Yi glanced down at the Log Pose.

Then—

He smirked.

"See you soon, Nico Robin."

"Whether you want it or not."
