Chapter 232: The Navy Headquarters' Response Plan!

It didn't take long before the news of Crocodile's defeat spread across the seas like wildfire.

Ever since the Seven Warlords of the Sea system was established, there had been little change in its members.

This alone proved that anyone holding the title of Warlord had to be a battle-hardened powerhouse, tested and proven by the vast ocean.

But now, this seemingly unshakable system had been disrupted.

Naturally, this caused waves of unrest across the world.

"Where's Garp?"

"He went back to the East Blue to see his grandson."

Among the three Admirals, only Kizaru was present.

Akainu was stationed in the New World, unable to leave.

Aokiji was off on some mission, claiming he was helping a country drive off pirates and was "on his way back."

Even Garp, who had no assigned mission, was nowhere to be found.

One by one, all his top officers were missing when he needed them the most.

Sengoku felt his anger boiling.

He wanted to explode, but there was no one to direct his fury at.

He could only let out a long sigh of exhaustion.

"Damn you, Garp!"

He cursed under his breath before refocusing on the main topic.

"How much should we raise Uchiha Yi's bounty?"

Everyone at the table was already familiar with the situation in Alabasta.

The impact of these events was severe, forcing the Navy to come together and discuss countermeasures.

After listening to various suggestions, Sengoku shook his head in disappointment.

None of the proposals satisfied him.

He then turned to Vice Admiral Tsuru, the strategic mastermind of the Marines.

"Tsuru, how do you think we should handle this?"

Tsuru, who had been deep in thought, finally spoke.

"Since Crocodile's defeat has already spread, the entire world will soon know about it."

"This will deal a significant blow to the credibility of both the Marines and the World Government."

"To stabilize the situation, we have two options."

"One, capture Uchiha Yi immediately and send him to Impel Down."

"Two, offer him Crocodile's vacant position as a Warlord."

Her tone was calm and measured, indicating she had thought through the consequences of both options.

Sengoku pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement.

"That makes sense."

"This Uchiha Yi was able to defeat Crocodile with ease."

"That means regular Vice Admirals won't be enough to suppress him."

He then turned his attention to Kizaru, who was lazily grooming his fingernails.

"Kizaru, I'll need you to handle this personally."

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, have mercy on me!"

"I just finished a mission, and now you want to send me out again?"

"Are you trying to work me to death?"

Kizaru whined in his usual sluggish tone, clearly unwilling to move.

"I heard Aokiji is near Alabasta. Just send him instead."

"Aokiji, huh?"

Sengoku thought for a moment, then nodded.

"Fine, that works too."

And just like that, the task of dealing with Uchiha Yi was assigned to Aokiji.

"Now, there's another troublesome pirate we need to address."

Sengoku then shifted the discussion to another major concern.

He revealed Ace's latest criminal activities in the Grand Line.

Although Ace's bounty had already been raised past 100 million Berries,

They still hadn't managed to capture him.

Clearly, the Marines needed to step up their efforts.

"I'll handle it!"

"Ace has appeared in a sea area under my jurisdiction."

Vice Admiral Onigumo immediately volunteered for the mission.

"There are also a few other rising pirates we need to keep an eye on."

"Their potential is already extraordinary."

"If given enough time to grow, they could become the next Yonko-level threats."

Sengoku then passed out several bounty posters to the officers, urging them to monitor these emerging pirates carefully.

After staying a few more days, Uchiha Yi had achieved all his objectives.

There was no longer any reason to remain.

Just as he was about to leave, he noticed Nojiko had brought Nico Robin onto the ship.

"How did you convince her?"

Uchiha Yi asked curiously.

Given Robin's high level of wariness toward strangers, it didn't make sense for her to willingly follow them.

Unlike Luffy in the original timeline, he hadn't done anything to earn her trust.

Logically, she had no reason to join him.

So, he had never bothered wasting effort recruiting her.

"That's a secret!"

Nojiko smiled mysteriously, refusing to answer.

Uchiha Yi rolled his eyes.

"Fine, don't tell me."

"It doesn't really matter anyway."

Robin's presence was ultimately insignificant to him.

A ship with no flag quietly departed from Alabasta.

Standing on board was Vivi, now wearing a maid outfit.

After several days of training under an AI maid, she had officially become a "trainee maid."

She gazed back at her homeland, her heart filled with uncertainty.

Right now, she was a pirate captive.

What fate awaited her?

She had no idea.

"Oh dear… looks like they already left."

Aokiji muttered lazily as he arrived too late to intercept Uchiha Yi's ship.

But what troubled him most was that Nico Robin was now aboard that ship.

For many years, Aokiji had secretly protected Robin from the shadows.

If he wasn't sure whether Uchiha Yi was truly her ally…

Then he would never allow Robin to stay with him!
