NARUTO: GOD LEVEL FORGING SYSTEM

Chapter 17: CHAPTER 17

This was completely beyond the scope of Takeshi's understanding!

Might Guy said indifferently:

"It doesn't matter, it's just part of the process. Kazuki's strength has already surpassed that of a genin.

If it weren't for the Third Hokage's decree prohibiting early graduation, I would have taken Kazuki with me on missions outside the village.

But sooner or later…

I have already decided—Kazuki will be my disciple!"

What?! Surpassing genin? Lord Guy's chosen successor?

At this moment, Takeshi was completely dumbfounded!

At Konoha's training ground—

"957, 958, 959… 997, 998, 999—1000!"

Ding! [Congratulations, Host! Task Complete—1,000 daily sword swings for one month! Reward: Sun Blade Blueprint Unlocked!]

Sun Blade!

Kazuki's eyes lit up.

This legendary sword, reminiscent of the weapons used by the Demon Slayer Corps in Kimetsu no Yaiba, changes color according to the wielder's attributes. It is known as the Blade of Transformation.

Although demons don't exist in the world of Naruto, a Sun Blade would still be a formidable weapon!

"Finally, all four system tasks are complete!"

Kazuki exhaled, reviewing the three additional forging blueprints in his system inventory: Sky Feather Cloak, Light Spirit Boots, and Sun Blade.

[Sky Feather Cloak]

Forging Difficulty: ★★

Materials Required: White Feather, Black Feather, Blue Steel Stone, Lunar Iron

Effect: Adjusts its size according to the wearer's physique, balances body temperature, and self-cleans via chakra conduction. If damaged, it repairs itself.

Though not armor, it's perfect for everyday use—no need to buy clothes or do laundry ever again. A lazy person's dream!

[Light Spirit Boots]

Forging Difficulty: ★★

Materials Required: Hair Crystal, Star Iron, Cold Iron

Effect: Grants the wearer a 5% speed boost.

Kazuki's excitement grew at the thought of increased speed.

[Sun Blade]

Forging Difficulty: ★★★

Materials Required: Refined Iron, Crimson Gorilla Iron, Crimson Gorilla Ore, Gold Sandstone… (13 materials total!)

Effect: Incredibly sharp, enables the wielder to comprehend Breathing Techniques.

Kazuki's eyes widened.

A three-star weapon!

The sheer number of required materials made it a daunting task to forge, and just gathering them would take significant effort.

Compared to the Sun Blade, the Sky Feather Cloak and Light Spirit Boots were far easier to craft. Their materials were mostly available at home, except for the feathers—those would require a trip to the forests outside Konoha.

Closing the system menu, Kazuki sheathed his bamboo sword and prepared to leave the training ground.

At that moment, Kazuki's senses sharpened—he could feel a faint chakra signature lingering nearby.

Someone was watching him from the shadows?!

"Who's there?"

Kazuki furrowed his brows and let out a sharp breath.

"S-Sorry, Kazuki-kun…" A soft, familiar voice stammered.

From behind the thick trunk of an ancient oak in the training grounds, a petite figure hesitantly stepped forward.

"Hinata?"

"Kazuki-kun, I… I didn't mean to spy on your training," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Her pale lavender eyes darted away in guilt as she fiddled nervously with the hem of her oversized jacket. The embarrassment was evident in the way her small hands trembled.

Kazuki exhaled in relief, lowering his guard.

"It's fine. I just thought it was an enemy for a second."

Hinata visibly relaxed upon realizing he wasn't angry.

"But why are you here? Shouldn't you be training at the Hyūga compound?" Kazuki asked curiously.

Hinata's fingers gripped the fabric of her sleeves as her heart pounded. Now that she was actually in front of him, her courage wavered.

"I… I… I…"

She struggled to form a coherent sentence, feeling her face heat up.

"Don't be so nervous," Kazuki reassured her with a gentle smile. "It's just the two of us. Take your time."

So kind…

Hinata couldn't help but think.

His words gave her a sliver of courage, and she took a deep breath before finally managing to speak.

"I… I heard that you have your final combat assessment tomorrow… And that your opponent is… my cousin, Neji…"

"Oh? So you're worried about me?" Kazuki teased with a knowing smirk.

Hinata's cheeks turned even redder as she lowered her head further, her voice barely audible.

"Mm…"

Her nervousness escalated. Her breathing became uneven.

Would Kazuki-kun think she was disloyal for worrying about him instead of supporting her cousin?

Even though Neji was her blood relative, she still wanted Kazuki to win.

That was why she had come—to encourage him.

But now that she was here, what should she do?

"Hinata."

Kazuki's voice pulled her out of her spiraling thoughts.

"Ah… ah?"

Before she could react, she felt the warmth of his hands gently lifting her chin.

Her breath hitched.

Suddenly, Kazuki's face was right in front of hers, less than a foot away.

His features were striking—strong jawline, perfectly arched eyebrows, and deep eyes that seemed to hold galaxies within them. His lips curved into a soft smile.

"Why do you always look down? I can't see your beautiful face that way," he said lightly.

"See? When you look up like this, isn't it much better? Be confident, Hinata."

For a second, time seemed to freeze.

Then—

Her face turned as red as a ripened tomato, her head spun, and her entire body went stiff.

Before she even realized it, her consciousness slipped away.

She actually fainted!

"Uh…"

Kazuki blinked in surprise, catching her just before she collapsed onto the ground.

Did he overdo it?

His original intent was only to boost her confidence, to help her overcome her timid nature—but he hadn't expected her to faint from sheer embarrassment.

Oh well…

Encouraging Hinata would have to wait.

With a helpless sigh, Kazuki adjusted her onto his back and made his way toward the Hyūga compound.

When he arrived at the entrance, however, he was met with wary gazes from several Hyūga clan members.

After all, their clan's heiress had just been carried back unconscious by an outsider—it was only natural that they'd have questions.

Before he could explain, they surrounded him, and moments later, he found himself detained within the compound.

Great.

Just what he needed.
