Naruto: I Am Crazy with the Simulation System!

Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Bloodline Disease?

As soon as you used your ocular technique to extend your spiritual power into your bloodline, you realized things weren't that simple. You immediately created a Lava Release shadow clone and sent it off with the two Takigakure shinobi to a distant location to wait.

Once the detection jutsu anchored to the Heaven and Earth Scroll moved away, you quickly summoned Boss Black Cat, instructed him to stand guard for you, and then used Earth Release to dive underground.

"So you gave up the chance to cast Izanagi, sacrificing yourself just to mix part of your chakra into my body through my ocular technique? Uchiha Itachi, you bastard!"

It wasn't until the violent reaction between the Uzumaki and Uchiha bloodlines flared up that you realized—five years ago, when you devoured Itachi Uchiha's bloodline, you'd also accidentally absorbed part of the chakra imbued with his lingering will!

"I don't know how you obtained so much intel, but all ninjutsu has weaknesses!"

Itachi's residual consciousness cut straight to your weak point:

Your ocular power hadn't fully awakened yet, so you couldn't filter out the impurities in the devoured bloodline. You had no choice but to absorb everything indiscriminately.

That gave Itachi the chance to inject his consciousness into his chakra and transfer it into your body through his bloodline. Now, with the clash between the Uzumaki and Uchiha bloodlines, his dormant will had been reawakened.

There's no such thing as a free lunch. You finally understood why you were barely able to use Susanoo—a Mangekyō-exclusive ocular technique—despite not having awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.

At this moment, although Uchiha Itachi was just a fragile fragment of consciousness, he had fully merged with the bloodline you absorbed over the past few years. With your current ocular power, you had no way of extracting him—this became his leverage against you.

He demanded that, no matter what, you protect Sasuke in his place. Help him awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, and transplant Itachi's eyes into him.

"Itachi... you've got some nerve. Do you really think I can't deal with you?"

You didn't waste words. You directly activated your Uzumaki bloodline and unleashed Adamantine Sealing Chains, firmly binding the exposed fragment of Itachi's consciousness. Then you used the Four Symbols Seal to completely lock him away!

Just like Itachi always preached—every jutsu has a weakness. If he had just stayed hidden and quietly stirred up trouble within your bloodline, you might've been powerless to act. But he chose to negotiate for Sasuke's sake, giving you the perfect opportunity to seal him entirely!

However, even after you took control of Itachi's consciousness, the chaos within your body didn't calm down. On the contrary, it grew even more intense.

With the Sharingan's acute sensitivity to bloodlines, you quickly deduced the problem: the fusion between the Uzumaki and Uchiha bloodlines had gone awry.

Your Sharingan hadn't truly awakened into Mangekyō, so your ocular power wasn't strong enough to suppress both bloodlines simultaneously.

What puzzled you the most was that the usually stable Uzumaki bloodline was now wildly unstable.

You speculated that the cause was your repeated use of Adamantine Sealing Chains—this bloodline-engraved ninjutsu was likely triggering the reaction.

So you adjusted your breathing and entered a meditative state to calm the bloodline—taking the opportunity to rest as well.

Sure enough, the conflict between the two bloodlines gradually eased. But the moment you tried to conjure another Adamantine Chain, the bloodline immediately showed signs of upheaval again. You hurriedly dispersed the chain, and peace was restored.

It really did seem tied to the Adamantine Sealing Chains... Could it be that this technique was engraved into the Uzumaki bloodline to prevent outsiders from seizing it?

Beyond that, you also noticed another problem.

Almost all Uzumaki clan members possessed the Yang Release affinity, just like how the Uchiha all had Yin Release. This seemed to be the very foundation of your respective Kekkei Genkai.

But you didn't possess Yang Release.

In other words, your Yang Release couldn't be used for anything except maintaining your own life functions.

To test this theory, you pulled out a jar of ointment developed by Iwagakure's medical corps after studying White Zetsu. You took a small piece and placed it in your mouth.

Using the same method as refining a soldier pill, you absorbed it.

As expected, the resistance hidden deep within the Uzumaki bloodline—intertwined with the Adamantine Sealing Chains—gradually began to fade.

"Just as I thought."

The Uzumaki bloodline requires Yang Release to remain stable. And since your body lacked it, that was the root cause of the bloodline's instability!

After thinking it through, you came up with several possible solutions:

Awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan and fully unlock your ocular power. This would give you the strength to control both bloodlines simultaneously.

However, even with that, your bloodline instinctively called out for Yang Release. And transplanting a few White Zetsu cells near your eyes wouldn't cut it. You'd need at least a half-body transplant—like Obito did—to meet the required Yang Release levels.

But with that, you might not even need to awaken Mangekyō to contain the Uzumaki bloodline.

Unfortunately, that level of transplant surgery was something only Tsunade or Orochimaru could perform. Iwagakure didn't have the capability—and besides, you had no interest in such crude alterations to your body.

Become a Jinchūriki.

As everyone knows, the Tailed Beasts are direct creations of the Sage of Six Paths' Yin-Yang Release—fragments of the God Tree's power. If you could seal even a portion of a Tailed Beast's chakra inside you, you could borrow the power of Yin-Yang Release.

Naturally, that would resolve the bloodline conflict.

This was also your true reason for coming to Konoha: to hunt the Nine-Tails, or Shukaku, and seal one of them inside yourself—permanently solving your chakra shortage.

And with Shukaku's control over Magnet and Wind Release, you could freeload another Kekkei Genkai and accelerate your Dust Release fusion!

The final and worst option: abuse your ocular technique to indiscriminately devour massive amounts of ninja bloodlines.

By mixing in enough impure blood, you could dilute your Uchiha and Uzumaki heritage. In exchange for sacrificing their future growth potential, you'd gain a huge amount of power quickly—and end the bloodline turmoil.

But this was truly a last resort.

Once both bloodlines were diluted and lost their independence and potential, they'd never clash again—but neither would they evolve.

"Who would've thought that someone like me—capable of devouring bloodlines—would one day end up with bloodline disease… What a damn joke."

Luckily, as long as you didn't overuse Adamantine Sealing Chains—and with the emergency White Zetsu extracts you carried to replenish Yang Release chakra—you wouldn't relapse.

At least not before acquiring a Tailed Beast.

With the bloodline crisis under control, nearly a day had passed.

After regrouping with the two Takigakure shinobi, you refocused your senses. Though you hadn't obtained the full sensory prowess of the Kagura Mind's Eye, your range had expanded considerably.

Turns out, blindly absorbing the Uzumaki bloodline wasn't entirely a bad thing.

Before long, you once again pinpointed Team 7's location.

Originally, you had no intention of killing Sasuke yet. You were going to wait until he matured before taking his eyes.

But then you remembered what Itachi said earlier.

"Maybe I should just kill him now..."
