"Shimura Danzo, you won't escape today!"

A thunderous shout rang out as Uchiha Shanna, the Great Elder, along with several other Uchiha clansmen, blocked Shimura Danzo's path.

"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"

Three massive fire blasts erupted from Elder Uchiha Shanna, surging toward Danzo to block his escape.

"Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire Technique!"

"Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Claw Crimson!"

The other Uchiha clansmen also unleashed Fire Style techniques, bombarding Danzo to stop him from fleeing.

Faced with the overwhelming barrage of fire, Shimura Danzo rapidly retreated.

Uchiha Fugaku chased from behind. The massive hand of his Susanoo seized Danzo in its grip.

Experiencing once more the intense pain of being crushed, his face turned pale, and sweat beaded on his forehead.

At the same time, the tenth Sharingan on his right arm slowly closed—his right eye had automatically activated Izanagi.

"Shimura Danzo, I told you—you're the one who will die here today!"

With the insight of the Sharingan, Uchiha Fugaku naturally noticed the closing of Danzo's tenth eye and the activation of Izanagi in his right eye.

Without replying, Danzo snorted and once again fled in a different direction.

Elder Uchiha Shi and several other clansmen blocked Danzo's escape route.

"Get out of my way—!"

Danzo roared in fury. His right arm suddenly swelled.

It transformed into over a dozen massive wooden tendrils, each like a giant spear, shooting toward Uchiha Shi and the others.

Uchiha Shi and the others quickly responded with joint Fire Style techniques. The fire turned into a wave that surged to meet the giant wooden tendrils.

Though engulfed in flames, the tendrils still pressed forward, continuing their assault.

The Uchiha clansmen had to retreat hastily, avoiding the burning tendrils and falling back under pressure from Danzo.

Whoosh—

Seeing this, Danzo's face lit up with joy and he attempted to break through the encirclement.

However, Fugaku had already intercepted him, blocking his path once more.

In terms of speed, he wasn't slower than Danzo—in fact, he was faster.

After all, Danzo was old, while Fugaku was still in his prime.

"Genjutsu—Hypnosis."

Using the hypnotic power of the Mangekyō Sharingan, Danzo was instantly caught in a genjutsu.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!"

Before Danzo could break free, Fugaku hurled several shuriken.

Under the Shadow Clone Technique, they multiplied rapidly into a dense storm of projectiles, raining down on Danzo.

Danzo was riddled with shuriken, his body collapsing to the ground.

Reviving once more under Izanagi, Danzo stood again.

He scanned his surroundings, unease in his heart.

The remaining Root operatives were all dead. Now, he was surrounded by elite Uchiha shinobi.

And among them stood Uchiha Fugaku—an awakened Mangekyō Sharingan user and a Kage-level ninja stronger than him.

"Wood Style: Root Burial!"

A massive tree sprouted from under Danzo, growing wildly outward and consuming everything around him, launching an assault on the nearby Uchiha.

The giant hand of Susanoo struck down before the tree could spread. The tree shattered into pieces, and Danzo, within it, was killed once again.

"Everyone fall back!"

Fugaku gave the command.

Danzo was like a cornered beast. He would undoubtedly do something insane before dying.

If any reckless move from him caused major casualties to the Uchiha, it would be an irreparable loss.

Hearing Fugaku's order, the Uchiha retreated slightly, but the encirclement remained. The distance widened, but the formation stayed tight.

If Danzo tried to break through in any direction, he'd face a coordinated assault.

"Uchiha Fugaku, I regret not killing you sooner!"

Danzo revived once more and spoke through gritted teeth.

"Isn't it a little late for that now?"

Fugaku sneered, completely unfazed.

Regret meant nothing now. The present reality could not be changed.

To Fugaku, Danzo's words were nothing more than the barking of a powerless man.

"Uchiha Fugaku, don't get cocky. Once I die, your Uchiha clan will be the prime suspect!"

Danzo threatened coldly.

"That's none of your concern."

Fugaku's expression didn't change.

In Susanoo's right hand, a pitch-black spear appeared. He hurled it at Danzo.

"Wood Style: Exploding Tree!"

Danzo's right hand transformed into a giant tree to block the incoming spear—but it was easily pierced through.

Splurt—

The black spear pierced through the tree and struck Danzo, skewering him like a kebab.

Boom—

The spear exploded. Danzo's body was torn apart, reduced to a cloud of blood mist.

"Uchiha Fugaku, you won't have peace either!"

Danzo revived again—but his right eye finally went blind. Izanagi had ended.

Knowing death was imminent, a crazed look appeared on his face.

"Reverse Four Symbols Sealing!"

Blood spewed from Danzo's mouth as dark sealing marks spread across his body.

The markings rapidly expanded, attempting to engulf everything around him.

Whoosh—

Prepared in advance, Fugaku leapt back instantly, dodging the spread of the dark seal.

A massive black sphere formed around Danzo then vanished in an instant.

With it, Danzo's body disappeared no corpse remained.

The ground around him vanished as well, leaving a strange hemispherical crater. All the soil within it had been utterly erased.
