"These are the two lords, Kinkaku and Ginkaku, known as the Twin Lights of the Hidden Cloud," Darui said, standing calmly atop the water, addressing the legendary Gold and Silver Brothers who had been resurrected by the Impure World Reincarnation.

"This is so embarrassing. I didn't expect us to break free from the Second Hokage's jutsu," Kinkaku said with a smirk, glancing at his brother.

"Though it may sound disrespectful to you two, I'm afraid we'll have to defeat you again," Darui said solemnly.

"Tch... I really can't stand the tone you're using with your seniors," Ginkaku scoffed, voice dripping with disdain. "I'll make sure you shut up."

"It can't be helped. Seems like it's been too long since we last met... even our own kin have forgotten who we are," Kinkaku laughed, his eyes glinting with bloodlust.

As he spoke, Kinkaku prepared to release one of the treasured tools of the Sage of Six Paths, pulling the weapon from within his mouth.

"Storm Style: Laser Circus!" Darui shouted, forming seals swiftly.

Countless high-speed beams of chakra burst forth from every direction, hammering into Kinkaku before he could fully release the tool.

The Six Paths Sacred Tool had only barely emerged before it was obliterated by Darui's Storm Release attack.

"Aniki!" Ginkaku roared in anguish.

"Bankai—Senbonzakura Kageyoshi!" a powerful voice rang out from the sidelines.

Countless blades resembling cherry blossom petals surged like a tidal wave, piercing through Kinkaku's reanimated body, scattering his soul into glimmering fragments of light. The binding of Impure World Reincarnation was broken.

On the chessboard of war, another black piece shattered.

"How can this be?!" Kabuto gasped from his location. "Just like Deidara... not even the soul remains?!"

Ginkaku was stunned, completely confused. Wasn't this jutsu supposed to bring someone back entirely?

"Big Brother?" Ginkaku called out, his voice trembling.

Only pieces of light danced in the air where Kinkaku had stood. What remained was the sacrificial corpse used for the Impure World Reincarnation.

Ginkaku: "(¯△¯;)!!"

With a loud, distorted roar, Ginkaku snapped. Chakra of the Nine Tails erupted violently from his body, shrouding him in the form of Version 2 — a monstrous, six-tailed beast-like figure radiating chaotic power.

The transformed Ginkaku surged forward, his massive form tearing through the battlefield. Many Allied Shinobi Forces and White Zetsu were caught in the path and were immediately slain or gravely injured.

"Senbonzakura!" a voice shouted again.

The swirling cherry blossom blades formed a protective wall, halting Ginkaku's deadly tails and shielding the coalition.

"Thank you!" the rescued shinobi gasped, bowing slightly to their savior amidst the chaos.

"It's been a long time since I've seen Ginkaku go into that form," Kakuzu muttered from a distance. His stitched mouth twisted into a rare expression of surprise. "Looks like Kinkaku is done for."

At the Command Center

"Still no sign of reinforcements?! What's the current situation?!" Nara Shikaku demanded, eyes scanning the updated intel scrolls with urgency.

"Kinkaku has been eliminated, but Ginkaku has transformed into a Version 2 Jinchūriki using the Nine Tails' chakra and is attacking wildly!" Yamanaka Inoichi reported in alarm.

"Darui can't take that monster on alone!" the Fourth Raikage growled. "Samu! Prepare the sealing team immediately! Ginkaku will only become harder to contain the longer he's out of control!"

"Yes, sir!" Samui responded quickly and began preparations.

A Chūnin from the Communications Division rushed over: "Captain Karui! Orders from headquarters—prepare to receive the Amber Purifying Pot!"

"Huh? That thing?" Karui asked in disbelief.

"They said it's the only treasure powerful enough to seal Ginkaku's chakra and physical body!" the Chūnin explained as he activated the scroll.

Darui stepped forward, facing the beast. "Are you sure you can stop him?"

On the shore, Tenten stood firm. Petals swirled around her, forming a storm of steel. The blade in her hand transformed into a thin, petal-like sword as she leapt forward.

"Bankai—Senbonzakura Kageyoshi!" she cried again, her voice clear above the chaos. The deadly cherry blossom swords flooded the battlefield, wrapping around Ginkaku.

"Final Form—Thousand-Blade Sakura Bloom!"

"What?!" Ginkaku's eyes widened as the petals stabbed into him like a rain of needles. His Version 2 form couldn't even last a second against the sheer overwhelming force — his chakra cloak shattered, and his soul was shredded into nothingness.

The battlefield went silent.

The Communications Chūnin stared, swallowing hard. "…I-I'll contact HQ immediately and cancel the teleportation…"

At that moment, Ino–Shika–Chō arrived on the scene.

"Where are Kinkaku and Ginkaku? We were ordered to seal them!" Choji asked, readying his partial expansion technique.

Everyone silently pointed at the remains… or what was left of them — glittering confetti in the wind.

Ino–Shika–Chō: "..."

Elsewhere—Sand Reinforcements

Pakura and her forces were clashing with White Zetsu. Hanzo of the Salamander, summoned by the Impure World Reincarnation, blocked their way.

"Summoning Technique!" Hanzo roared.

A massive black salamander, Ibuse, appeared in a swirl of smoke and bellowed, spewing forth a dense, deadly poison mist.

"Damn it!" Kankuro hissed as the battlefield flooded with toxic gas.

Suddenly, a cloaked figure shoved him aside. "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

A massive fireball exploded against the gas, igniting it into a blinding explosion and sending both sides flying.

"Who the hell?!" both groups shouted.

The newcomers revealed themselves—Uchiha Shisui and members of Team Taka: Karin, Suigetsu, and Kimimaro.

"Kimimaro?!" Kankuro blinked, recognizing the bone-wielding shinobi, then turned to the revived Hanzo. "And you—who the hell are you?!"

"Impudent brat! I am Hanzo of the Salamander, the demigod of the Shinobi World!" Hanzo roared, slashing with his kusarigama.

Ding!

Shisui appeared instantly, blocking the blade with his tantō. His speed was near divine.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Shisui shouted, releasing three fire dragons toward Hanzo.

"Tricks! Water Style: Water Wall!" Hanzo reacted quickly, forming a wall of water to block the flames.

Shing—

"Nani?!" Hanzo gasped. Shisui was behind him already.

"Uchiha Style—Sun Halo Dance!"

Three glowing slashes crossed Hanzo's back, cutting his body into pieces and releasing his soul in bursts of confetti.

"Karin!" Shisui called.

"I'm coming, I'm coming! Why do I always get stuck with the dangerous jobs?!" Karin complained as she ran forward, slamming her hands down. "Four Symbols Seal!"

Scrolls unfurled, sealing Hanzo's remains tightly in binding seals.

The others stared in disbelief. "As expected of Shisui… that speed…"

Suddenly, Kimimaro moved. He shed his cloak and lunged at Shisui with a sword made from his own bones.

Clang!

A massive blade blocked the strike.

"I'm not letting you hog the spotlight, Shisui!" Suigetsu grinned, wielding the Exploder Blade he'd recently scavenged.

With a bang, he blasted Kimimaro away.

"Water Style: Hydro Arm Technique!" Suigetsu shouted, increasing the water density in his arm. He lifted the heavy blade and hurled it like a missile at Kimimaro.

"Dance of the Camellia!" Kimimaro countered, drawing his spine like a whip and intercepting the thrown sword. "You from the Hozuki Clan?"

"Hah! So it's the famed Kekkei… I didn't expect to cross swords with you!" Suigetsu laughed.

Kimimaro suddenly leapt back. "Ten-Finger Drilling Bullets!"

His fingertips fired bone bullets like a machine gun toward Suigetsu.

Suigetsu formed his hands into a gun shape. "Water Gun Technique: Twin Shot!"

Two streams of pressurized water bullets fired from his fingers, blasting Kimimaro's bones mid-air like a shootout in a western duel.

The two glared at each other, smoke and steam rising between them.
