"Nani?" Kabuto, hiding behind the scenes, was startled. "Careless... Uchiha Shisui? Even Impure World Reincarnation couldn't suppress him..."

"Amaterasu!"

Black flames erupted from Nagato's body!

"The nameless shinobi who sacrifices himself and silently works in the shadows for peace… that is the true shinobi," Itachi said slowly, watching as control returned to his body. "You were the one who taught me that…"

"Bakayarō! The foundation of peace isn't sacrificing your comrades!" Shisui shouted, eyes blazing. "Peace built on discarding the few for the many is nothing but an illusion! It's a lie!"

"Thank you…" Itachi lowered his head and smiled. "I'm lucky to have had a friend like you."

From behind, Kabuto sneered. "Shisui, then that makes me lucky too. Hehehe…"

With a sinister smirk, he formed a series of hand seals.

"Shinra Tensei!"

The black flames of Amaterasu were repelled from Nagato's body in an instant.

His charred flesh began to regenerate at a visible speed.

Swish!

Nagato's figure vanished in an instant.

"Huh?" Shisui and Itachi's eyes narrowed as they turned sharply to the left.

"Shinra Tensei: Elevenfold Shockwave!"

The camouflaged chameleon opened its mouth, revealing Tendo Pain inside. A tremendous shockwave blasted forth!

"Not good!"

Kankuro, Suigetsu, and the others were launched backward by the powerful repulsion force, expressions filled with shock.

"This… this is the monster Naruto fought against?!"

Swish!

Pain suddenly appeared behind Shisui and reached to grab him.

"Too slow!" Shisui growled. "Uchiha Ryūkōran!"

He instantly drew his katana, spinning and slashing with a massive Chakra-infused flame blade!

"Fujutsu: Kyuin!"

Nagato murmured calmly, his hand absorbing the Chakra on Shisui's blade. With the other, he grabbed the katana and blasted Shisui away with Shinra Tensei!

"Nani?!" Shisui's expression twisted in alarm. "Kage Bunshin: Kawarimi!"

In a puff of smoke, the clone he had created earlier during the battle with Itachi swapped places with him and was obliterated by the force.

"Damn it…" Shisui frowned. "I didn't expect the Rinnegan to be this troublesome."

"No... Time's too short!"

He reached toward his right eye and froze. "Nani?"

Swish!

The chameleon reappeared behind him and wrapped its tongue tightly around his body!

"You shinobi are too simple."

Nagato appeared in front of Shisui in an instant, his eyes cold. With a swift motion, he pulled Shisui's soul from his body. Behind him, the massive spectral statue of the King of Hell emerged.

"Naraka Path."

From the shadows, Kabuto grinned.

"Use the Human Path to extract the soul and temporarily kill the target. Then use the Naraka Path to conceal the soul and the body. Once I retrieve them both, I'll resurrect Shisui with Impure World Reincarnation and claim his Mangekyō Sharingan. Combine that with the First Hokage's immense Chakra… then I'll use Kotoamatsukami to control Uchiha Madara himself! Hehehe~"

"Damn it! Iron Man Transformation—Activate!!"

Kankuro shouted, and his modified puppet armor launched over him, snapping together to form a suit resembling the Iron Man design!

"Jet-Powered Fist!"

With a burst of flame, Kankuro's armored fist rocketed toward Nagato!

"Bakayarō! I told you not to give this jutsu such a stupid name! I am Eternal Art, you ignorant brat!" Sasori's voice echoed from within the suit.

"Asura Path!"

Several mechanical arms shot out from Nagato's body and caught the flying fist.

"Not done yet!" Kankuro roared. "Ten-Finger Missile!"

From the armored fingers, tiny missiles fired directly at Nagato—Boom!—one of the Asura Path's arms was blown clean off.

Nagato's eyes narrowed. The remaining arm began morphing.

It slowly transformed into a Chakra Cannon, the palm glowing with condensed energy.

The violet beam swelled in Nagato's arm as he aimed directly at Kankuro and the others!

"Jūgo!" Suigetsu shouted.

With a snarl, Jūgo activated his Curse Mark, his body mutating violently. A huge barrel-shaped appendage formed, launching a yellow Chakra blast to intercept the beam!

The sky lit up in a clash of purple and yellow explosions!

"Now!"

"Susanoo!"

Boom!

Two massive armored Susanoo emerged, one emerald and one crimson. They cleaved through Nagato's arms simultaneously, freeing Shisui!

Boom~!

Nagato's summoned creatures—Yama and the Giant Chameleon—were dispelled. The destroyed limbs began slowly regenerating.

"As expected from the strongest shinobi before the Uchiha Clan Massacre… Let's make them both into stars," Kabuto chuckled, controlling Nagato remotely.

Nagato brought his hands together. "Chibaku Tensei."

A black sphere formed in his palm and was launched skyward. A massive gravitational pull surged outward.

The ground trembled as rocks, boulders, and earth were sucked upward. The group was pulled into the air by the intense force!

"That black orb… seems to be the source of the gravity," Itachi noted, calm amidst the chaos.

"He used this technique during the Konoha invasion," Shisui muttered. "Getting dragged in like this is dangerous!"

"How did Naruto destroy it back then?" Itachi asked with a frown.

Shisui paused.

"…Might Guy used the Eighth Gate and launched the Evening Elephant and Night Guy…"

He shook his head. "That situation isn't replicable. We'll have to try something else."

"If the black orb is the core, then we need to destroy it directly," Itachi said decisively. "We'll combine our strongest long-range attacks and aim for the center!"

Crimson Susanoo transformed, its armaments morphing into a massive golden shuriken.

Itachi hurled it at the orb.

"Yosha! I'm in too!" Shisui shouted. "Yasaka Magatama!"

His green Susanoo became complete, forming a gigantic spiraling magatama and throwing it with full force!

"Energy Launch!"

Kankuro activated the Iron Man armor's back cannons. "Stop calling it 2B garbage!" Sasori shouted.

Eight laser beams combined and blasted into the sky toward the Chibaku Tensei core!

Boom!

A blinding explosion erupted, and shockwaves blew across the battlefield.

"Where did he go?"

Kabuto narrowed his eyes. Nagato was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly—Thud!

A brilliant yellow blade impaled Nagato from behind!

"Totsuka Blade."

Itachi muttered, as the ethereal blade began to absorb Nagato's soul, pulling him into the Sakegari no Tachi's gourd.

Boom!

Nagato's falling body smashed into the earth.

"Damn it!" Kabuto roared. "Nagato's crippled legs are his greatest weakness! I hoped summoning more bodies would make up for it—but Shisui and Itachi are too damn fast! I couldn't keep up at all!"

He grit his teeth, frustration building. "Still couldn't escape that sealing…"

"But now… it's time for the real show." Kabuto sneered, his tongue extending grotesquely in Orochimaru's fashion.

Outside the cavern, a mysterious figure floated before the Gedo Statue.

The Nine-Tails' Chakra was being drawn out… and absorbed.

"I'll leave the caster of the Edo Tensei to you," Shisui said calmly to Itachi.

"Understood." Itachi nodded. "Leave it to me."

Just then, a robed figure appeared in a flash.

"Yo! Glad to see you made it," Shisui laughed.

"Huh?" Itachi's brow twitched. "Maybe I should've come alone after all."

"Not necessarily," Shisui chuckled. "Right?"

He turned his head—

"Sasuke?"
