Naruto: I Became Sakura and Accidentally Got a Nuke

Chapter 18: Chapter 18

"Snap!"

Sakura snapped her left fingers. Her jade-green eyes darkened with focus as an invisible force spread outward, enveloping The Third.

"What—?" The Third's pupils shrank sharply. He knew his own deteriorating physical condition all too well—in recent years, exhaustion had worn him down considerably, dragging his abilities along with it.

Yet just after Sakura's finger-snap, he felt as though his body had returned to how it was years ago. At first, he thought it might be an illusion, but when he sensed chakra surging through him like a mighty river, he realized this was no trick of the mind.

"I can only restore your body to how it was five years ago. It's not your peak, but it's still much better than what it was before."

Her voice rang out in the quiet office. The hidden Anbu guards couldn't help showing emotion—they served directly under The Third and bore him no ill will, but their shock overwhelmed them completely.

Though only five years apart, the difference in strength was immense. During the Nine-Tails incident, The Third could strike the beast backward with a single staff blow. Yet during Naruto's Chunin Exam, he barely lasted a short while. Clearly, retaking the Hokage title had severely drained his power.

It was kind of like Naruto's own story too. Before becoming Hokage, he was bursting with energy like an overexcited Siberian Husky—always going wild for no reason. But once he took office, even someone as godlike as Naruto seemed to lose all his energy—as if he'd burned out completely after working nonstop.

"Cloud Village? If they want war, let them come!"

Feeling physically restored to five years prior, The Third's mindset shifted dramatically. He seemed once again like the youthful warrior known as the "Hokage of War"—the era when he was called the Ninja Titan.

"Don't worry too much either, Lord Third. If war breaks out, I'll just fly over Cloud Village and drop some space rocks on them until there's nothing left standing."

Sakura's tone remained calm. While she couldn't match Cloud Village head-on in battle, destroying it didn't require direct confrontation. With the power of the Infinity Stones, pulling small meteors from orbit and crashing them onto Cloud Village would be easy enough. She couldn't manipulate whole planets like Thanos could, but small asteroids? That was easy enough. Could Raikage block one or two? Maybe. But dozens?

Chapter 15: Opposition from the Elders [Part 1]

"Meteorites?!"

The Third almost choked on his pipe smoke. Never before in shinobi history had anyone heard of a ninja controlling meteorites. If such an ability truly existed, it would qualify as a strategic-level weapon.

"That's right. I can't control anything huge, but small ones are doable. If one's not enough, I'll just keep dropping more. If I have to, I'll throw one down every single day until I bury them all. If I can't kill them, I'll at least drive them crazy!"

Sakura's idea was simple—she had no desire for another Great Ninja World War. If Cloud Village was going to provoke one, they'd simply have to be sacrificed to stop it.

"If The Third doesn't believe me, he can have a little match with me to find out!"

Fearing The Third wouldn't believe her words, Sakura actively issued a challenge. She also wanted to see just how powerful she'd become.

"You sure?" The Third looked at her in slight surprise. "Fighting can get you hurt, and at your age, you probably haven't even touched chakra yet."

"I'm not using chakra!" Sakura shook her head. She barely understood what chakra was. "As for getting hurt, don't worry about that, Third. I'm actually really strong!"

"Fine then, old man will play along with you a bit!"

Maybe because he felt a bit younger, The Third couldn't help getting excited for a fight. He stood up immediately and led Sakura toward the training grounds.

In the training grounds, The Third took off his Hokage cloak, revealing his battle attire underneath—showing a glimpse of his former self as the Ninja Legend.

"Sakura, you go first. Let old man see what the future of Konoha looks like!"

The Third felt slightly excited. After all, Sakura and her generation were undoubtedly the pillars of the next generation in Konoha. He just wondered how strong they would eventually become.

"Alright."

Sakura responded briefly, stepping onto her Demonic Sword. Watched by The Third and a group of Anbu ninjas, she gracefully rose into the air, stopping only after reaching dozens of meters high.

"Third, let's begin."

Looking up at the sky, The Third remained silent. Among the Five Great Ninja Villages, only the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki of the Two-Handled Scale Clan, had flight abilities. At the height where Sakura now hovered, none of his techniques could even reach. As for summoning Enma and transforming him into an extended staff long enough—yes, the length might work, but standing on the ground wielding a dozens-of-meters-long staff to attack someone flying overhead would definitely lack agility.

"Well then, no more fooling around. Third, please be careful."

Sakura chuckled awkwardly—the method she used truly was quite unfair. Seeing The Third's unamused expression, she quickly lowered her altitude. A red glow flickered in her eyes.

[Reality]

Dozens of kunai, like shards of crimson crystal, materialized out of thin air beside Sakura. Under her control, they shot straight toward The Third.

"Hmm? Very well! Earth Release: Earth Flow Wall!"

The Third narrowed his eyes, his fighting spirit soaring. His hands swiftly formed hand seals. A thick earthen wall rose from the ground, blocking right in front of him.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The kunai slammed fiercely against the earth wall, each tiny weapon piercing deep holes through it. But once the smoke cleared, there was no longer any sign of The Third Hokage behind the wall.

"Behind me! Space!"

Instantly sensing The Third appearing behind her, Sakura activated the power of the Space Stone without hesitation. A brilliant blue light enveloped her body, causing The Third's hand—reaching toward her shoulder—to pass through her body unnaturally.

"Not solid—this is Genjutsu? No, my chakra flow feels completely normal!"
