Naruto : I Can Evolve My Gene Infinitely

Chapter 21: The Flesh Vessel and the Biochip

"Where are your eyes?"

Rin's voice was sharp, cutting through the silence like a kunai through flesh.

The boy standing before him was missing the most precious part of his Uchiha heritage.

"I made a deal with Orochimaru," Shisui said calmly. "I traded my Sharingan for what you needed, my lord."

"This is the loyalty I offer."

"Uchiha Shisui will follow in your footsteps to the end, and serve as your most faithful tool."

There was no pain in his voice, no hesitation.

It was as if the sacrifice had not been his own.

Betrayed by comrades.

Ambushed from behind.

The Will of Fire he once embraced had been poisoned—twisted by drugs, genjutsu, and despair.

Before he fell into the abyss, he had seen a single light reach for him—Rin's hand.

That moment had buried a seed deep in his soul.

He chose then and there to follow Rin without question, to become the perfect tool.

So when Rin gave him the mission, he hadn't hesitated.

He gave up his eyes—both of them.

Just to help the one man who'd reached out in the dark.

"Remember, your loyalty isn't to me," Rin said, finally accepting the container holding the harvested Hashirama cells. "It's to the Uchiha."

"The clan will remember what you've given."

From his lab, Rin retrieved a pair of three-tomoe Sharingan. After this set, only three remained in reserve.

"These may not be as strong as your original eyes… but they'll return your sight."

Shisui immediately shook his head. "No… my lord… I've grown used to—"

"That's an order."

"Get on the table."

Rin's tone brooked no refusal.

Shisui obeyed, laying flat on the surgical bed.

The procedure was simple. In this world, while scientific advancement was uneven, medical ninjutsu had evolved to an extreme degree.

Even average med-nin could perform an eye transplant.

For Rin, it was effortless.

As he worked, he remembered the Blood Shadow gene discovered earlier. He glanced at Shisui, then discreetly injected the gene into his spinal cord, allowing it to merge with his hematopoietic stem cells.

With his mastery over blood genetics at max level, this kind of gene graft was trivial.

Even with this addition, the surgery took less than thirty minutes.

Rin monitored the transformation of Shisui's blood under the microscope.

The moment the stem cells accepted the new gene chain, they began replicating enhanced blood cells embedded with Blood Shadow traits.

These newly generated cells far surpassed the original in function and rapidly began replacing Shisui's baseline blood profile.

At his current rate of internal evolution, within two days, the transformation would be complete—and Shisui would awaken the Blood Shadow ability.

But Shisui's innate talent exceeded even Rin's projections.

Barely half an hour after surgery, he opened his eyes—new Sharingan functioning perfectly.

He showed no surprise.

"Thank you, Lord Rin," he said, his tone sincere.

He could already feel the unfamiliar pulse in his veins.

And then—Rin heard it.

Ding.

"The Evolver has successfully completed a sub-project of the Flesh Ascension Plan. Secondary evolution subject: successful gene transplant.

Reward: Flesh Vessel ×1, Random Evolution Knowledge ×1, Evolution Points ×10."

The successful implantation had marked Shisui as a Secondary Evolver, tethered to Rin's overarching Ascension Plan.

Through this message, Rin understood the true meaning behind the "Flesh Ascension" concept:

Any lifeform across the multiverse could be inducted into the Plan.

If their transformation succeeded—regardless of their original world or origin—they would become extensions of the Evolver's will.

With that bond, every advancement the derivative made would feed the original with evolution points.

The primary Evolver controlled everything.

Life. Power. Future evolution.

Even if Shisui one day awakened abilities far beyond his peers, Rin could extract them without loss.

Total replication, zero drawbacks.

He settled Shisui into a spare chamber, then hurried back to the lab, mind alight with anticipation.

He retrieved the first of his rewards from the system mailbox.

The Flesh Vessel materialized in an instant.

A corpse slammed into the lab floor with a wet, echoing thud—nearly ten meters long and four high.

It crushed shelves, toppled reagent cabinets, and sent glass skittering across the tiles.

A Xenomorph Queen.

Rin's breath caught.

A fully intact biological mother-beast, her abdomen still swollen with unlaid spawn.

The body was still faintly warm—death recent.

Had the system ripped her from another world?

The delivery felt like a cross-dimensional courier service.

Attached to the vessel was an information scroll:

"The Evolver may command the Flesh Vessel via mental control, converting it into a living puppet of blood and bone."

The second reward followed—knowledge.

"Tier-1 Biological Armor Construction Manual."

According to the scroll, this technology detailed how to repurpose organic matter into armor using energy cores as auxiliary power sources.

Biological Armor…

Though rated only as white-tier knowledge, and not immediately useful to ninja combat, one component stood out to Rin:

The Brain of the Armor – Tier-1 Biochip and Support AI.

A rudimentary artificial intelligence, embedded directly into living tissue.

While primitive—equal to a human child aged eight to twelve—it could assist its host in cognitive tasks, calculations, and tactical decisions.

A thinking armor.

The potential was staggering.
