As Orochimaru approached the Nine Tails, Naruto—now without Kurama Mode—arrived on the scene with Jiraiya and Konan.

Nagato and Yahiko had been left behind in the Rain Village for safety and did not join them.

The moment the Nine Tails saw Naruto's return, it immediately dissipated into white smoke, retreating back to the Qingqiu Secret Realm. It had no intention of being involved with Orochimaru.

"Scorpion, Deidara, Kakuzu, Hidan, Kisame... it's over," Konan said as she jumped in front of the Akatsuki members. Her gaze, calm and piercing, fixed on them with the unmistakable power of her Mangekyō Sharingan.

Unlike ordinary Sharingan, Konan's Mangekyō Sharingan had no side effects. She could even deactivate it like an Uchiha.

"It's... over?"

The group exchanged surprised glances, unsure how to react. Konan had always been the leader's deputy—the White Tiger of Dawn—so her words carried authority.

They didn't question her.

"From this moment on, the leader of Akatsuki is Uchiha Itachi," Konan declared, dropping a bombshell that left everyone stunned.

"Akatsuki's goal is no longer to collect tailed beasts.

"Our new mission will be to innovate in our respective fields, develop more powerful ninjutsu and Forbidden Techniques, explore advanced technologies, and uncover the secrets of the ninja world.

"Based on your research and achievements, the organization will provide resources to support you. This includes, but is not limited to, bloodline limits, new technologies, ninjutsu, and Forbidden Techniques from across the ninja world."

The declaration left everyone speechless, especially Uchiha Itachi. His mouth hung open in disbelief.

He had come to Akatsuki as an undercover agent and had only just revealed his true intentions.

How did I go from being an infiltrator to... the leader?!

But when everyone noticed Konan's Mangekyō Sharingan, the room fell silent.

Sako's eyes lingered on the familiar Mangekyō pattern. Her gaze shifted to Naruto, filled with resentment, dissatisfaction, and confusion. Naruto felt a chill run down his spine.

This was all part of Naruto's plan. Instead of killing or disbanding the Akatsuki, he decided to repurpose them.

The Akatsuki, once a terrifying organization of evil, would now become pioneers of progress in the ninja world.

After discussing with Nagato, Naruto had reached an understanding. Without the power of the Rinnegan, Nagato could no longer serve as Akatsuki's leader.

Fortunately, Nagato wasn't interested in leadership anymore. All he wanted was to live peacefully with Yahiko and Konan.

With Naruto's blessing, Nagato and Yahiko remained as free agents within the Akatsuki, free to pursue their own goals.

Konan, on the other hand, became the organization's true power behind the scenes, responsible for mission assessment and resource distribution.

Naruto wasn't doing this out of kindness. He had a strategy in mind. Letting Konan act as the bridge between him and the Akatsuki ensured he could continue influencing the organization.

"Alright, then I'll rejoin Akatsuki. Naruto, do you agree?" Orochimaru asked with a sly smile, licking his lips as he observed the unfolding situation.

Orochimaru had already figured out that Naruto controlled Akatsuki from the shadows. The new structure worked to his advantage, so he saw no reason to resist.

"As long as Itachi's fine with it, I don't mind," Naruto replied, not bothering to hide his intentions.

"Akatsuki Sora-chan, Orochimaru, welcome back!" Itachi said, extending his hand toward Orochimaru.

Itachi, a mature genius, knew better than to resist the changes. Scorpion, Deidara, Kakuzu, Hidan, and Kisame offered no objections either.

If they couldn't beat Naruto, joining him seemed the only logical choice. Besides, Akatsuki's new direction offered more freedom and opportunities—except for Hidan, who was too brainless to understand, and Kisame, who remained bewildered.

"Naruto, now that everything's settled, shouldn't we focus on finding Lady Tsunade?" Kakashi said, concern flashing in his eyes. The complex situation involving Orochimaru and Naruto left him uneasy.

But perhaps he was worrying too much. Naruto was no ordinary kid.

"Alright. Let's find Sakura first, and then we'll head back," Naruto said casually.

With his objectives achieved, he opened Any Door, motioning for the group to retreat.

The rest of the mess? He left that for Uchiha Itachi to handle.

"Wait... Naruto!" Itachi called out. "I still don't know anything about that masked man!"

"Konan will fill you in," Naruto replied, waving dismissively as he walked through the portal and disappeared.

System Notifications

Changed Akatsuki's camp: +20,000 Honkai Points.

Altered Orochimaru's life trajectory: +5,000 Honkai Points.

Altered Uchiha Itachi's life trajectory: +5,000 Honkai Points.

Altered the trajectory of your own destiny: +50,000 Honkai Points.

Once Naruto disappeared, several prompts echoed in his ears.

[Okay, that's more than 850,000 Honkai points!]

Naruto silently calculated his balance and thought to himself.

"From now on, Rain Shinobi Village will be Akatsuki's stronghold. Come with me..."

After Naruto and the others left, Konan instructed them to head to Rain Shinobi Village. With Naruto's endorsement, she wasn't concerned about them having bad intentions.

Once the two sides had departed, only the pyramid that sealed the Ten Tails' golem remained on the ravaged land.

Pamphlet Street

Naruto and his group of six appeared in the bustling town.

"Ms. Kakashi, you and Pervy Sage are free to do as you wish.

We'll rest here for the night and return to Konoha tomorrow.

Orochimaru, come with me..."

After stepping through the portal, Naruto looked at the fading sky and spoke to Kakashi.

Once he finished speaking, he gestured for Orochimaru and the others to follow.

Orochimaru gave Jiraiya and Tsunade a sly smile before quickly following, his hair swaying behind him.

A moment later, inside a hotel:

"This is the Mangekyō Sharingan I promised you last time—the perfect Sharingan that can be used freely.

As for the Rinnegan, I've got it, but I can't give it to you just yet," Naruto said, taking out a pair of Fugaku's eyes and handing them to Orochimaru.

He hadn't yet copied the Rinnegan, so of course, he couldn't give it to Orochimaru now.

"The perfect Mangekyō Sharingan!

Naruto-kun, you are truly intriguing to me.

May I know what your abilities are, Naruto-kun?" Orochimaru asked, his curiosity evident in his eyes.

"Not yet," Naruto replied firmly.

"Orochimaru, I want you to turn the Music Ninja Village into a techno ninja village.

Then, set off a real revolution in the ninja world.

The current ninja world is too boring!

Tomorrow, come to collect your payment for the Rinnegan."

Naruto rejected Orochimaru's request bluntly, then turned and left.

With his strength, he had no need to hold onto Orochimaru.

He was more focused on copying the Rinnegan and Kamui eyes.

"Interesting...

Naruto-kun, I'll continue to keep an eye on you..."

Orochimaru watched Naruto's retreating back, his eyes gleaming with wisdom. He smiled to himself and muttered softly.
