Naruto: Master of Yin chakra

Chapter 26: Chapter 26 Rebellious Asuma

Konoha.

98th Training Ground.

Three youths sat on the ground, a leaf stuck to their foreheads, their hands forming the tiger seal.

Satoru was reading a book nearby, a book titled "Barrier Ninjutsu Volume 7," an essential part of learning Barrier Ninjutsu in Konoha.

Learning was truly captivating.

"Captain, can this improve our strength?" Iruka tried hard to concentrate his Chakra on his forehead.

"Of course, an excellent Ninja must be able to concentrate at any time to detect the enemy's intentions from subtle details in a lightning-fast battle, and to mobilise Chakra and complete the use of Ninjutsu at the first possible moment," Satoru replied without looking up from his book.

Mibu Shinobi heard this and said, "I know, it's because Iruka wasn't focused enough. When he fought the giant beast summoned by the Captain earlier, he didn't notice the Pangolin that burrowed out from underground."

"No, I was just careless," Iruka pouted.

"Concentrate, don't talk. Mibu Shinobi is right. When the Pangolin travelled underground, it made a lot of noise. As long as you consciously pay attention to potential enemies above, below, and all around, you can notice the movement under your feet. A Ninja must be vigilant at all times for new enemies that might appear. I think the academy taught you that," Satoru affirmed Mibu Shinobi's words.

"Moreover, the Third Hokage said, 'Where the Will of Fire dances, the fire will burn endlessly.' Concentrating the Chakra on the leaf instantly means you have ignited the initial flame. This is the time to practice your Will of Fire!"

Upon hearing this, the three immediately got excited and tried their best to do as their Captain said, concentrating their Chakra on the leaves on their foreheads.

"It's so useful, the Will of Fire!" Looking at the three working hard, Satoru couldn't help but marvel at the Third Hokage's brilliance.

The method he had racked his brains over to induce the three to work in the desired direction was no match for a single phrase: the Will of Fire.

In this regard, he was inferior to the Third Hokage. He admitted that the Third Hokage was the strongest at 'mouth Ninjutsu,' and Naruto was also inferior.

He then turned his gaze to the Barrier Ninjutsu manual in his hand, which explained various aspects of barriers.

From hand seals, Chakra distribution, barrier nodes, and various other aspects, it was densely packed with information.

He was confident that after the plot began, he would be one of the top Ninjas in the Ninja World, but he couldn't guarantee that Konoha wouldn't be destroyed.

Nor could he guarantee that he would stop Pain from unleashing his ultimate move before he did so.

Therefore, he wanted to find an alternative path through Barrier Ninjutsu to prevent Konoha from being destroyed by Pain's ultimate move.

Barrier Ninjutsu could achieve this. He had already completely devoured the first six volumes of the barrier manual. Although there were still more than ten volumes left, he was confident he could finish them.

Then he would start experimenting with various applications of Barrier Ninjutsu.

"These are all just in case. What if I'm already invincible by then?"

This was Satoru's thought.

The Ninja's philosophy of 'just in case' was thoroughly implemented by him.

He then looked at the three little ones and found that they had entered a state, but in his perception, their concentration was still too slow.

He also noticed that every time a breeze blew from outside, it would distract them a little.

"Let's try Barrier Ninjutsu then."

Intrigued, Satoru prepared to test an idea from the Barrier Ninjutsu theory he had just read.

He took out several 'Forbidden' talismans from his Ninja tool pouch, threw them onto the tree trunks at the four corners of the training ground, and began to form hand seals.

Barrier Ninjutsu was very complex; even the current Satoru took a full minute to complete the seals.

This was the most complex set of seals he had ever formed since his transmigration.

"Sound-Sealing Barrier."

As he completed the hand seals, the four 'Forbidden' talismans connected with his Chakra, forming an invisible cover that enveloped the entire training ground.

The three inside, who were diligently trying to concentrate, suddenly felt that the environment seemed different. There was no longer the disturbance of the wind, no cicada chirping, and no birds singing.

The speed of refining Chakra and concentrating Chakra became faster.

And Satoru carefully sensed the advantages and disadvantages of Barrier Ninjutsu.

The advantage was that barriers could be completed by multiple people and had many functions. The disadvantage was that they consumed a lot of Chakra and required continuous Chakra input.

They could only be used for traps or positional warfare.

The original work didn't elaborate much on Barrier Ninjutsu, only showing scenes where it was often breached by rogue Ninjas, which made Barrier Ninjutsu seem a bit awkward.

However, judging from this Sound-Sealing Barrier, it was indeed excellent in certain aspects.

In a flash.

Another month passed.

With the enhancement of the new Ninjutsu, the three little ones made rapid progress and found it easier to concentrate. When they reached a certain level, Satoru removed the barrier, allowing them to improve step by step.

Now, they could quickly concentrate during sparring, and there had been huge progress in everything from performing Ninjutsu to throwing Shuriken and analysing the battlefield.

Meanwhile, Satoru, outside of his work, had also discussed and set a wedding date with Teuchi and Ayame: two years from now.

They would marry when he was seventeen.

For people in the Ninja World, who had twice as many cells as in their previous life, this was not considered an early marriage.

So he was in a very good mood every day.

Even Iruka and the other two could sense his happiness from his expression.

When they learned that their Captain had a fiancée, everyone was stunned.

They couldn't believe it.

But they had to believe it. Satoru took them to eat ramen, and seeing how affectionate he and Ayame were, how could they not believe it?

It was on this very day that a command came from the Hokage, instructing him to lead his squad to the Hokage Office for a mission.

Satoru, with Iruka and the two others, stood respectfully before the Third Hokage. After some time, he had aged a lot more.

"Hokage-sama," Iruka was very happy to see the Third Hokage.

Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled when he saw Iruka: "It's Iruka. Looking at Satoru's report, I hear you're already an excellent Genin."

Iruka, hearing this, glanced at Satoru and excitedly said, "I'm still far from being like the Captain."

Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded kindly and looked at Satoru: "I'm entrusting you with an important mission. You must help me complete it."

"Me?"

Satoru was puzzled but still said, "I guarantee I'll complete the mission."

Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed: "The mission is to find Asuma Sarutobi and deliver the information back. It would be even better if you could persuade him!"

"Huh? Asuma Sarutobi?"

The Satoru squad members were all puzzled.

Sarutobi, could he be related to Hokage-sama?

Satoru was startled. This was the time when Asuma rebelled and fled Konoha!

"He is my son. Due to my work, I haven't been able to educate him properly, which has made his personality increasingly rebellious. Recently, he took advantage of an outdoor mission to disappear. However, someone saw him in the Land of Fire, so I need you to find his location," Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed.

So that's how it is.
