Naruto: Master of Yin chakra

Chapter 38: Chapter 38 Meeting

Uchiha Shisui's eyes lit up when he heard this, looking at Ayame: "Satoru? Who is he?"

"He's probably a resident of the Village. The Satoru he mentioned must be the culprit behind the disappearance of the training ground. Let's capture her and interrogate her to find out."

The two Uchiha glanced at each other, ready to seize her.

"Stop, how can you just grab people? She isn't a Ninja; her Chakra is too weak to even be extracted." Uchiha Shisui stopped them.

The two Uchiha were very displeased with his actions. The Uchiha had the right to apprehend first and then question, but with Shisui, it was becoming troublesome.

However, since Shisui was the captain, even though the two were aggressive, they still maintained their Ninja discipline.

They just had to report this properly to the Clan Head once they returned to the family.

"So where did you take my husband?" Tears were about to fall from Ayame's eyes; she couldn't understand what they were saying at all.

"Who is your husband?" Shisui asked.

The situation in this place might have been caused by this person. Could he be a spy?

"It's me."

As an alarming voice rang out, the location where they stood slowly began to change.

Trees, green grass, and a verdant river, along with the wooden stakes used for practice in the centre, suddenly appeared without them noticing.

Everything seemed to have returned to its original state.

Shisui's Sharingan spun rapidly; there wasn't the slightest hint of any other signs. It just appeared, as if the flat ground from before was merely an illusion.

The only difference was the addition of a man with his face wrapped in bandages; he was the one who had just spoken.

The three Uchiha gripped their long swords, on high alert, staring intently at Satoru.

Terrifying.

He appeared before them silently. They were the Uchiha, the family with the strongest perception in Konoha.

...

Satoru saw Ayame approaching and felt a bad premonition. He had originally intended to restore the area to normal after they left, not wanting too many people to know, but he hadn't anticipated Ayame's meal delivery time.

Especially seeing Ayame's tears, his heart ached. He quickly dispelled the Barrier Ninjutsu and slowly appeared before the three Uchiha.

He didn't want to have any contact with the Uchiha, nor was he interested in the Sharingan. His only interest was how his Genjutsu would fare against the Sharingan.

But there was no other way; he couldn't truly let them interrogate his wife. This was the meaning of his training, so he was already preparing to dispel the barrier as soon as Ayame arrived.

"Wife, it's alright. Didn't I tell you? Your husband is very strong..."

Satoru quickly hugged Ayame, taking the bento from her hand: "Let me see what we're eating today?

Is it your best ramen, wife?"

Seeing that Satoru was fine and even had time to comfort her, Ayame's tears instantly vanished, replaced by a radiant smile.

She had truly thought her husband had been captured just now.

"It's good that you're alright."

"Kid, it's not good at all. Who are you?"

"What was the situation here just now? If you don't explain clearly, I'll treat it as espionage." Chubby Uchiha drew his long sword, his two-tomoe Sharingan slowly rotating.

The Skinny Uchiha did the same. As long as Satoru made any sudden move or lied, he would face their swift attack.

Even Shisui gripped his sword, ready to act at any moment.

This was because, in his Sharingan's eyes, this man, just by his stance, exuded a sense of power.

If he were an enemy, he couldn't guarantee taking him down quickly.

Fortunately, he didn't seem to be an enemy. His gaze fell on Ayame; this woman was his wife, and he saw no signs of her being a spy.

But he couldn't relax his guard for the safety of Konoha.

"Satoru ~ Are they still going to arrest you?" Seeing the Defence Force about to arrest her husband, Ayame's heart tightened again, and she looked at Satoru with a face full of worry.

Satoru patted her shoulder, signalling her not to worry, then turned to the three Defence Force members: "Analysis Team, Special Jonin Satoru. Shisui, I've long heard of your reputation."

Chubby Uchiha shouted: "Less nonsense! I asked what you were doing just now. Don't try to get close to us Uchiha; you're not worthy. If you don't speak, then please come with us to the Defence Force for a while."

Shisui frowned. This person knew him?

"Analysis Team Jonin? Tell us, how did this place disappear and then reappear? Although we haven't found any crime you've committed, for the safety of Konoha, if you are a Ninja of Konoha, you should be able to understand, right?"

Satoru listened to their tone and sighed. It seemed even Uchiha Shisui, who had a better temper in the original work, couldn't escape the flaws of the Uchiha.

To keep Ayame from worrying, he said: "I was just experimenting with a new Ninjutsu. I temporarily lost control and caused a bit of a stir. I didn't expect a routine practice to alarm the esteemed members of the Defence Force."

At the same time, under the tense gazes of the three, he took out his Konoha Jonin identification from his person, complete with a photo, number, graduation date, and so on...

"This is my proof. Can we go now?" Satoru was speechless. The Uchiha were indeed troublesome, just like the police in his previous life's America, who would assume every movement of a suspect could warrant a shot.

"Proof can be forged; it means nothing to a Ninja. I think you should just come back with us to the Defence Force for a trip, and we'll talk after we've investigated thoroughly." Chubby Uchiha, seeing him so timid, rotated his Sharingan and met Satoru's gaze.

Shisui was startled, wanting to stop him, but it was too late.

"Damn it, has the clan become this reckless?" He muttered to himself.

He looked at Satoru, hoping he wouldn't get into trouble.

The Genjutsu of the Sharingan was unparalleled. Now, with the opponent completely unprepared, there was no way he could break free after falling victim.

In fact...

Satoru had sensed it the instant he extracted Chakra, but with the idea of experiencing the Sharingan's ability, he didn't forcefully retaliate.

He wanted to see how the Genjutsu counter-Ninjutsu he had set up in his body would work, so he withstood the opponent's Genjutsu head-on.

In his mental world, he was bound to a giant pillar, with stones extending from it to restrain him.

Satoru felt it. Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes. The Genjutsu's execution was flawless. A regular Jonin, if they didn't think of a countermeasure before falling victim, would surely fail.

However...

At the moment of his Genjutsu, a fantastical light point within his body's heart suddenly erupted, instantly disrupting his Chakra and emitting a peculiar wave.

It reflected the Genjutsu.

Hmph!

With a muffled grunt, the Chubby Uchiha's eyes became lifeless, and his entire body became immobile. He stood still under the confused gazes of Shisui and the Skinny Uchiha.

And Satoru also regained consciousness at this moment.

"It seems the 'Return Mirror' construct was very successful. It dispelled the Genjutsu released by others in the blink of an eye." Satoru was quite satisfied.

It seemed like a long time had passed just now, but in reality, it was only a blink of an eye.

The Return Mirror was a Genjutsu he constructed to counter Genjutsu. It could reflect ordinary Genjutsu, and even if it couldn't, it could disrupt the Chakra within his body, allowing him to break the Sharingan's visual Ninjutsu without needing a teammate.

It was also inspired by the way Jinchuriki in the original work used Tailed Beasts to break Genjutsu. This Ninjutsu was also an S-rank Genjutsu created using Sealing Technique, Barrier Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu.

It was also his first S-rank Genjutsu.

The learning difficulty was off the charts.

Although other Genjutsu were powerful, their training difficulty hadn't reached S-rank.

He then looked at the Uchiha opposite him.
