Naruto : My AI System is Really That Powerful

Chapter 21: Got Hemorrhoids or Something, Bastard?

The three genin crouched low in the underbrush, watching the battlefield beyond.

"Should we go out now?" Mizuki whispered.

Jun shook his head. "No. Those two Cloud-nin haven't realized their comrade is dead yet. We need to coordinate and wait for a better opportunity."

Anko's voice was sharp with urgency. "But the captain's injured. What if she can't hold out? We need to get closer or we'll be too late to help!"

Jun still shook his head. "We can't. The one we killed wasn't a sensor, which means one of the remaining two likely is."

Mizuki scoffed, "Come on, they're both focused on the captain right now. How would they have time to scout for chakra signatures?"

Jun cut him off. "Enough. Listen to me. The captain isn't that easy to bring down. We're from the major clans of Konoha—none of us are weaklings."

"…except—" Mizuki opened his mouth, paused, then sighed. "Fine. You were hiding your power before, I get it."

Jun's brow twitched. This guy clearly hadn't been punched enough.

Anko snapped, "Mizuki, shut up already. Jun, what's the plan?"

Jun composed himself, observed the field in silence, then said, "Here's how we'll do it…"

BOOM!

The twin-headed wolf slammed into a swath of trees, scattering debris everywhere.

The lead Cloud-nin leapt out of the way, sneering even as he panted. "You mutts from Konoha just don't know when to give up. Drag this out all you want—you're the one bleeding chakra, not us.

And don't tell me you really believe three brats can stop a trained chunin. Once our teammate returns, you're finished!"

The twin-headed wolf's front leg was soaked in blood, breath coming in heavy rasps.

This wasn't going well.

The two enemies weren't even aiming to take her head-on. They were just running her dry.

Chakra nearly gone.

A cold sense of dread crept in.

"Did you really think we only had two squads infiltrate this area?" the Cloud-nin taunted. "The noise from this battle will bring others. We're not done."

He was trying to get in her head, but…

He kept scratching at his ass between taunts. It was hard to take him seriously.

The wolf bared its twin maws and roared, diving into a desperate attack.

Blackmaru managed to land body fluid on one of the Cloud-nin.

This was it.

Inuzuka Tsume gathered the last of her chakra—

Super Fang Over Fang!

Locking onto the scent, the spinning wolf transformed into a feral drill barreling toward the marked target.

The lead Cloud-nin felt it—too fast!

"Get to me!" he shouted.

His comrade followed orders, retreating to join him.

They knew: if they could survive this, the Inuzuka would be spent.

Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall!

Lightning Style: Thunder Fang!

The lead Cloud-nin threw up a defensive wall, while his partner lashed out with lightning in a last-ditch effort to interrupt the attack.

Then—

WHOOSH!

A massive shuriken carved a screaming arc through the air, bypassing the earth wall and heading straight for the lead Cloud-nin.

What the—? Konoha reinforcements?

He didn't even consider the brats from earlier.

BOOM!

The spinning wolf tore through the earth wall like paper.

ZZZZT!

Electricity danced over her body, but she clenched her teeth and pushed through.

A trade of blows—this was her last shot.

Lightning Clone!

The lead Cloud-nin split a clone off to intercept.

Then he and his partner combined their strength.

Lightning Style: Scatter Fang Lariat!

Tiger–Snake–Tiger–Snake–Tiger!

Lightning surged from their blades, discharging in all directions.

CLANG!

CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG!

The high-speed rotation of Fang Over Fang collided violently with the surrounding lightning net.

The spin wavered. Chakra was running dry.

The lead Cloud-nin grinned. They blocked it. Barely.

Their chakra reserves were dangerously low, but once they killed this mutt, regrouping with allies would be easy.

But then—

The great shuriken from before curled around the clone, veering toward them.

POOF!

It turned into a person.

"Back!"

SLASH!

The lead Cloud-nin barely avoided the strike.

His partner… wasn't so lucky.

SPLURCH!

A clean decapitation.

Cloud-nin: –1

"Bastard!!" the surviving Cloud-nin roared.

That black-haired boy standing in front of the twin-headed wolf…

He recognized the sword.

Which meant—

He sucked in a sharp breath. "How did you kill him?"

The boy—Uchiha Jun—spun the sword lazily and said, "Feels pretty good in the hand."

POOF!

Smoke cleared. The twin-headed wolf reverted.

Both Tsume and Blackmaru collapsed, spent. But Tsume's face lit up with a wide grin.

"Jun, you little bastard!"

She looked downright elated. She hadn't even managed to kill one of them.

Two Cloud-nin, taken down?

Thud thud thud!

Mizuki and Anko burst onto the scene.

Mizuki shouted, "Haha! I told you I'm great at throwing things. That was all me!"

Jun didn't argue. In truth, Mizuki's curved shuriken throw had been key—most couldn't manage that kind of angled trajectory.

Anko helped Tsume stay upright. "It was Jun's plan and his blade. You just stood around running your mouth."

"Er…" Mizuki fell quiet, jealousy flashing in his eyes.

Jun raised his blade and stared down the remaining Cloud-nin. "Save the celebration. We're not out yet."

The Cloud-nin slowly lowered his hands from his seal and sneered. "Uchiha? You guys keep pumping out little geniuses.

But…"

He flashed a shark-toothed grin. "One versus four. You really think I'm not aware of my situation? Why do you think I'm still here?"

Jun's eyes flicked to Blackmaru.

The big dog struggled to focus chakra, nose twitching. "More incoming… not good."

"What!?"

Tsume shoved Anko away and straightened, panic cutting through her fatigue. "We need to move!"

Jun dashed to her side. "We'll cover the retreat."

Yes, he'd killed two Cloud-nin—but both were ambush kills.

And the second? Tsume had done most of the work.

With her chakra nearly gone, even with the three genin helping, they might not survive another engagement.

If reinforcements came—it was over.

"Heh… leaving?" The Cloud-nin raised his blade and pointed at Jun, eyes gleaming with menace. "Think you can run?

Tell me something, Uchiha… why do you keep one hand behind your back all the time? What's the matter?

Got hemorrhoids or something?"
