Thanks to the upgrade, the maximum number of clones he could create increased from 10 to 15.

It might not sound like much—just a 1% improvement per clone—but over repeated use, the savings added up significantly.

This was especially helpful now that he needed to constantly spam clones for training.

With the rank-up, the stability of the clones also increased, allowing them to persist longer.

This was especially important for the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.

Because—after two days of trial and error—Haruki had officially achieved entry-level mastery of the technique.

Compared to Naruto, Haruki's pace was like a blur.

Back then, Naruto had to summon over a thousand shadow clones and spent several days before he even got the basic concept down.

He used a single clone and figured it out in just two days.

The reason for this massive gap came down to three main factors:

Naruto had no clear direction when he first began. He lacked foundational knowledge of wind chakra's nature and shape transformations, so he had to start from scratch.

The Nine-Tails' chakra inside Naruto messed with his control. His chakra manipulation was rough and unrefined, so he needed tons of repetition just to get the basics right.

His fundamentals were shaky—his Rasengan proficiency was mediocre, so trying to build Rasenshuriken on top of that took even more time and energy.

Haruki, on the other hand, had none of these issues.

In fact, he had advantages in all three areas.

He had a clear mental blueprint, excellent chakra control, and advanced Rasengan mastery.

Given that, it wasn't surprising he advanced so fast.

However, once he got past the initial stage, he encountered a serious issue:

Before Rasenshuriken reached full completion (i.e., 100% stability), both its practice and execution severely damaged the user's arm—specifically the cellular tissue and chakra pathways.

For a shadow clone, this was devastating—it disrupted the physical structure of the body and caused the clone to disperse rapidly.

As a result, Haruki had to constantly replace broken clones, which drained more chakra and became a logistical headache.

But with the Shadow Clone Technique now upgraded, the clones were more resilient, able to withstand more strain and last longer.

Though it still wasn't perfect, the chakra cost was now manageable.

Haruki nodded in satisfaction and resumed training again.
