Naruto: Paradise for One [R-18]

Chapter 21: Dealing with an Unexpected Situation

After Kurenai left, Saul decided to test the limits of the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu himself. He believed he would be able to start feeling something was wrong if he was beginning to approach the limit. If there were no signs...? Well he'd end up dead sooner or later anyway, so it'd be better to go out peacefully instead of in agony.

Plus, Naruto's Multi-Shadow Clone Variant was different from the one in the scroll of seals. Sure the Kyuubi's chakra granted him a pretty strong healing factor, but could brain injuries be healed so easily? Maybe this difference is why he could spam the jutsu without worry!

Saul got up from the chair.

Hinata spoke up, "Saul-kun... Are you going out?"

He nods. She hadn't known there was a risk of death from reading the scroll! It had been mentioned theoretically, but Kurenai's visit made the threat of Saul dying so much more real to her. She got up and stepped closer to him.

"Are... Are you going to train with that Jutsu?"

Saul nodded again. Was she worried about him?

"Don't worry Hinata. I will be careful."

Yes... She knew. Her Saul-kun was so perfect, so smart. He'd master it without a problem! So why did she feel so... Scared? She laid her head on his chest.

"Saul-kun... I don't like it."

"It will be fine... Remember Naruto? He's made hundreds of clones already, and he's just fine. I'm sure as long as I slowly ramp up my usage of the jutsu, I'll be able to tell when I'm approaching the limit."

He was using himself to test the limits of the Jutsu!?

Hinata had an errant thought. What if she used her gentle fist on Saul-kun now? She rubbed her hand along his chest gently. It would be so easy. Just knock him out quickly, painlessly, and keep him out of danger forever. She would just take care of him instead... It would be fine right? It would be for his own good!

But no... She was afraid he'd hate her. Her fingers curled onto his chest and she hugged him harder.

Suddenly, reality hit her. They were ninja. He'd be risking his life on missions as well. Could she protect him? Was she good enough?. No, as long as they lived in Konoha, Hinata couldn't guarantee his safety. What should she do...? Without Saul-kun, she'd have nothing else to live for...

Saul gazed down at the beautiful black haired girl in his arms, being none the wiser.

"I'm going to go train now, ok? You can come with me if you want."

"Saul-kun..." With a gentle push, Saul stumbled back onto the nearby chair. Hinata straddled him. Her creamy thighs wrapped around his waist, and she leaned into his chest once more. Her breasts squished against him with promise.

"Hinata!?"

"Saul-kun~" She repeated, before meeting his lips with hers. It was a desire filled kiss. Hinata continually sought out his tongue with an animalistic intensity. Saul separated with saliva trailing between their lips, feeling slightly violated.

"Hinata what's gotten into you?" He could push her off, but for some reason he had a feeling any more signs of rejection right now might end poorly.

She smiled darkly. "Don't worry~! I just needed to show you just how much you mean to me... Saul-kun, make sure you're as careful as you can be. Because if something ever happens to you... I'll follow my dear Saul-kun straight to hell~!"

Hinata finally got off him and offered her hand. "You wanted to go train, right? Shall we go train now?"

No. He couldn't let this woman begin to push him around like this. She was not mentally stable - brushing this off would only cause her to do something more extreme next time.

Saul shook his head. "No Hinata."

Hinata's voice went uncharacteristically flat. "...Why?" Oh no...

"We're not training together. I think I need some time alone."

No no no no no no no no!!! Why!? Why!?

"Saul-kun I'm so so sorry! Please!" Don't leave me...

"You've been way too clingy lately, and I've been tolerating it for your sake. In fact I've been quite considerate of you, of your wishes, and have done nothing but support you in every aspect! But what have you done in return?"

Hinata paled.

"You just tried to threaten me with your own life! I cannot, will not tolerate such a thing! Especially when you're trying to control me! Are you even considering what I want? My goals? My dreams?"

Hinata was deathly silent, pale, and positively horrified. With every statement Saul said, she had grown even paler. Now, she looked as if she was about to pass out!

"I-I'm really... s-sorry... hic."

Yeah, just scolding her would be no good. He went up to her and hugged the sobbing girl.

"Don't worry, I'm not leaving you Hinata." He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "But you have to face the consequences of your actions ok?"

Hinata could only nod sadly. The aching pain inside her chest, it was unbearable! The pit of fear inside her stomach, it was paralyzing! And the guilt... Oh the guilt... It was like being stabbed with a thousand knives! His words, they dulled the pain. But she knew she didn't deserve his comforting words, didn't deserve him...

"Yes... Saul-kun..."

"Remember... The only reason why I'm taking such a threat so seriously, is because I care about you. Ok? So never say anything like that again!"

How could she be so horrible to her beloved Saul-kun! What had she done!

Hinata hugged him back even more tightly.

Saul hoped this talk would help her be more stable in the long run. You were always most vulnerable to those you trusted. Hinata was with him like this largely because of his manipulation, but because of the process, she became highly unstable.

He knew this situation was his fault. Regardless, if she overstepped her bounds again - he'd have to take more drastic measures.

Author's note: Alright finally back! At first figured this was going to be an R18 ch, but considering the motivations of Hinata and Saul it didn't quite feel right. Anyways it's finally out! I hope you all enjoyed it!
