Naruto: Peak Human [DBZ Saiyan]

Chapter 5: Naruto, Peak Human, Ch 3.1

Li Zhenwu ran home as fast as he could, immediately shut the door, and settled down in the quiet of his room. The Saiyan system on him had drifted through the Void World for a long time before finally bringing him to this world of ninjas.

However, during the lengthy period of drifting in the Void, the Saiyan system fell into a dormant state as it accumulated energy for a reboot.

It wasn't until today, three years later, that the system officially restarted.

This could hardly contain the excitement of Li Zhenwu, who had been waiting for three long years.

Moreover, another concern weighed on his mind: he had been brought here by the system. Upon the activation of the Saiyan system, his Saiyan physique had also fully transformed.

For the past three years, despite being born with a Saiyan tail, he had merely been a 'half-finished product' that had undergone simple modifications by the system.

Even as this 'half-finished product,' Li Zhenwu had possessed extraordinary strength, far beyond that of an average person, while remaining safe from the dangers of transforming on a full moon night.

Now, with the restart of the Saiyan system, his transformation was finally complete, meaning that when the next full moon came, his tail would become the source of his transformation.

This realization filled Li Zhenwu with both joy and dread at the same time.

"Should I cut off my tail?" he pondered.

Saiyans morph into giant apes on full moon nights, enormously increasing their strength but also losing rationality and becoming extremely violent during the transformation.

However, this loss of control could be managed—with the removal of the tail.

A Saiyan without a tail wouldn't have to worry about transforming during the full moon, although even after such a removal, the tail could regrow during childhood.

Li Zhenwu was torn, considering whether or not to sever his tail. Now, as a Saiyan, the tail had become an integral part of him, and cutting it off would make him feel extremely uncomfortable.

"Forget it, I won't think about this for now. There's still a week until the full moon," he said, shaking his head and dismissing his concerns.

When he was born, villagers had looked down on him because of his tail. In fact, his parents had once given in to the pressure and cut off his tail.

However, it grew back shortly afterward, leading many villagers to believe that Li Zhenwu was a monster.

Losing a part of one's body and having it regrow?

How could that not be considered monstrous?

Li Zhenwu's unique situation had attracted ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village to investigate, but there were ultimately no clear findings.

There were no indications of any Kekkei Genkai (Bloodline Limit) on him, and he didn't seem like a natural jinchūriki either.

Thankfully, despite being physically different from ordinary humans, Li Zhenwu was harmless; aside from his inherent strength, he had not posed any real threat.

As a result, while some villagers regarded him as a monster, they did not escalate things to outright persecution.
