BOOM BOOM BOOM...!!

Thunder bombs rained down, the ground split wider, and arcs of purple lightning spread over ten meters away!

"Agh...!!"

Raikage coughed up blood from the heavy blow. The lightning armor around him flickered and weakened.

Naruto's arms trembled slightly. He sighed, "Yeah... now that I've actually used this high-intensity jutsu, I can tell, my body still can't fully handle this mode. That's exactly why I need to train."

"Ugh...!"

Despite the pain, Raikage pushed himself up and backed away, eyeing the purple lightning crackling around Naruto.

"How the hell can you use this?!" 

Naruto smiled. "Who knows?"

Raikage's expression changed as he thought it through. "It's Dodai!! That traitor! I'm gonna deal with him when I get back!!"

Naruto calmly replied, "Hey, don't be ungrateful, Raikage. If Dodai hadn't helped, your side would've suffered even more."

"Damn it...!"

Raikage clenched his fists. Even with his temper, he couldn't deny Naruto had a point.

He then demanded, "Why is your Lightning Style Chakra Mode different from mine? What's with that purple lightning?!"

Naruto grinned. "If you're really curious, I could teach you. But maybe ease up on the attitude first and stop acting like I'm your enemy."

Naruto's offer was sincere, but to a proud veteran like Raikage, getting advice from someone he saw as a rookie was pure insult.

Raikage roared, "Don't get cocky! You've still got a long way to go, kid!"

Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Kid, huh? Technically, even Ōnoki is younger than me. I just call you 'Raikage' out of habit."

"This is insane, nonsense! Just die!!" 

Crack!

Raikage fully activated his Lightning Style Chakra Mode, lightning sparking wildly as his hair stood on end.

Naruto blinked in surprise. "Whoa... your chakra's stronger than before. Looks like you've been training seriously."

Raikage roared, "Every single day, I've had only one goal, kill you, destroy the Akatsuki, and avenge my brother!!"

BOOM!!!

He charged forward, fist crackling with lightning, aiming straight for Naruto's face

—Lightning Straight!

Bang!

A flash of purple light Naruto dodged just in time!

"What?!"

Raikage's eyes widened. "Only your father ever dodged that before with his reflexes and the Flying Thunder God... But you did it with just speed?!"

Snap!

Raikage stomped the ground, twisted mid-movement, and switched to a brutal elbow strike—

—Heavy Flow!

Naruto quickly crossed his arms to block

 BOOM!!!

Raikage was stunned. "He... took the hit?! That move used to require Shinra Tensei to block!"

Naruto grinned. "My turn to strike back!"

Snap! Snap!

Lightning crackled two Shadow Clones appeared in a flash, and kicked Raikage into the air in perfect sync!

As he rose, Raikage gasped, "Lightning Style Shadow Clones?!"

Naruto corrected him mid-attack, "Not exactly... these are Purple Lighting Shadow Clones!"

Crack!

The Shadow Clone vanished, and Naruto, covered in crackling lightning, leapt into the air and grabbed Raikage mid-air

Crack! Crack!

Purple lightning surged around Naruto and transformed into glowing ropes that wrapped tightly around Raikage's body. 

Then Naruto spun rapidly with him, forming a spiraling lightning gyroscope

 —Thundering Lotus!

BOOM!!!

They crashed straight into the ground, drilling ten meters deep with a thunderous explosion!

The blast sent Naruto flying back into the air. He twisted mid-air and brought his right leg down like a falling axe

His heel, wrapped in purple lightning, slammed into Raikage's chest!

—Lighter Bomb!

BOOM!!!

The lightning tore through Raikage's armor, leaving a deep wound across his chest!

Raikage gritted his teeth and roared, "Don't underestimate the Raikage!!"

Despite the pain, he grabbed Naruto's ankle with one powerful hand and flipped him down with a heavy slam!

"Nani?!" Boom!

Naruto hit the ground hard on his back.

Raikage raised both legs high, gathering a huge amount of Lightning Chakra into his feet then brought them crashing down!

—Guillotine Drop!!

Naruto grinned even in the heat of battle. "Now this is exciting..."

—Shinra Tensei!

BOOM!

A violent shockwave of repulsion burst out from Naruto's body, blasting everything away!

Raikage's axe kick froze mid-air as the repulsive force blasted him upward. His body twisted like a pendulum from the uneven impact. 

When he landed, he stumbled back ten steps before regaining his balance. Eyes wide, he growled,

"That damn repulsive force again…!"

Swish!

Naruto reappeared on solid ground using Flying Thunder God. His cloak fluttered as he said calmly,

"I have way more options than you."

Raikage wasn't stupid he could tell. With Naruto's current strength, Rinnegan abilities, and Flying Thunder God, hurting him head-on would be almost impossible.

Frustrated but proud, Raikage shouted,

"Uzumaki Naruto! You've already learned Kumogakure's secret techniques! If you're really a man, fight me head-on with pure Nintaijutsu!"

Naruto tilted his head.

"Oh? Trying to provoke me?"

"Don't you dare back down!" Raikage roared.

Naruto stroked his chin thoughtfully.

"Alright, but I have a condition."

Raikage's eyes sharpened.

"Say it!"

Naruto lowered his hand.

"If I fight you fair and square and win you and Kumogakure must promise never to go after Sasuke again."

Raikage scoffed.

"Tch, I almost forgot about that guy. Fine. If you face me without tricks even if you die I swear by my name as Raikage and the honor of the Night Moon Clan, Kumogakure won't touch Sasuke again."

"As long as he doesn't start anything with us first!"

Naruto smiled.

"Deal."

He thought to himself, That's good. We had a bond in our past life. I don't want to kill you, Ai…

"Hmph! Then prepare to die!"

Crack! Crack!

Raikage pointed his right index finger forward. A sharp spear of lightning formed at the tip, surging with powerful Lightning Style chakra…

 Naruto's eyes narrowed.

"That's the Third Raikage's strongest spear, the One Finger. Has he really mastered it? No wonder he's so confident."

"Too late to regret now…!"

Boom! The Raikage charged forward.

"Here I come…"

Pah!

Purple lightning crackled fiercely around Naruto's left palm as he dashed toward the Raikage.

Humph, Naruto thought, instead of standing still, you face me head-on. That courage is something... but...

"Die, Uzumaki Naruto!!!"

Swish!

The lightning spear thrust forward, but Naruto dodged with a quick, subtle move.

Snap!

The spear grazed Naruto's mask, leaving a mark.

—Thunder•Chidori!

Snap!

At the same moment, Naruto's left hand, glowing with purple lightning, pierced through the Raikage's shoulder.

The Raikage's eyes widened in shock.

"How is this possible...?!"

Snap...!

Naruto said coldly,

"You're defeated, Raikage."

He grabbed the Raikage's left shoulder with his right hand and pulled his left hand free from the wound.

Crack...!

"I refuse to accept this…!"

The lightning faded as the Raikage collapsed forward with a heavy thump.

This battle of ninjutsu ended with the Raikage's defeat.
