As the notorious Demon of the Hidden Mist, Zabuza Momochi had earned a certain level of fame across the ninja world.

To be pinned down and pummeled by a mere genin brat was a humiliation beyond words.

Now that Sasuke was vulnerable, it was his chance to restore his pride.

The Executioner's Blade in Zabuza's hand trembled slightly.

In the next instant, the paralysis in his body completely faded, and a murderous glint exploded in his eyes.

With a single step, he charged straight toward Sasuke.

In that moment, Zabuza's speed was terrifying. The blade of the Executioner's Blade was aimed directly at Sasuke's forehead, about to cleave down in a straight arc.

"This is bad! Sasuke's chakra is completely drained!"

Kakashi's expression darkened instantly, and he rushed forward.

'I hope I can make it in time!'

Due to his earlier position, Kakashi was farther away. Although Zabuza was injured, the strength of a jonin was no joke.

For Sasuke, without the boost from his Godspeed, dealing with such speed was nearly impossible.

However, Sasuke wasn't entirely immobilized. He took a step back, retreating instantly!

The blade slammed into the ground in front of Sasuke. The sheer force, combined with the sharpness of the Executioner's Blade, split the earth, leaving a crack in the ground.

But Zabuza didn't pause after his first miss and launched another attack.

"Die, you brat!"

This time, with the distance even closer and Zabuza accelerating, Sasuke had no way to dodge.

Then, in the next moment

CLANG!

A metallic clash resounded as sparks erupted in front of Sasuke.

A figure appeared, stepping between Sasuke and the descending blade.

Kakashi, holding a kunai in one hand, blocked the horizontal slash of the Executioner's Blade.

A powerful gust of wind swept through the area in an instant.

Kakashi exhaled softly. "Just in time."

"If your chakra was running low, why didn't you retreat earlier?"

Hearing this, Sasuke could only let out a helpless chuckle.

"This jutsu isn't something I can control!"

Your own jutsu… isn't something you can control? Then who else can control it?

Kakashi was momentarily at a loss from Sasuke's explanation.

"Lightning Style ~ Godspeed: Gale Thunderclap relies on Lightning Chakra to stimulate the body, triggering explosive speed. All actions performed are instinctual, based on the opponent's movements and my body's first reactions."

"The movements are autonomously generated by my body and don't require my control. So, when too much chakra was consumed, my body kept reacting on its own, and I couldn't cancel the Godspeed state in time!"

Kakashi froze for a moment upon hearing Sasuke's explanation.

A jutsu like this actually existed completely out of the user's control, relying solely on the body's automatic reactions to fight.

After a brief moment of thought, Kakashi understood.

No wonder Sasuke's speed earlier had been so astonishing, even to him.

And the movements of his attacks had seemed so peculiar.

It turned out they were instinctual reactions from his body.

This effectively eliminated the time needed for the brain to process and respond.

Although that fraction of time seemed negligible, in the pursuit of ultimate speed, even that small saving was enough to make a significant difference.

Realizing this, a bead of cold sweat rolled down Kakashi's forehead.

'What an incredible jutsu you've developed, Sasuke…'

Right now, it might not seem like much, but as Sasuke continued to grow stronger, this technique would undoubtedly become a terrifying force.

Perhaps one day, the title of the Fastest in the Ninja World would belong to Sasuke.

Godspeed, Sasuke.

"Get out of my way, Kakashi! I'm going to kill that brat!" Zabuza roared.

Although Zabuza was covered in injuries, his strength was no match for Kakashi at this point.

Kakashi glanced at him and easily deflected Zabuza with his kunai, taking a defensive stance.

"Zabuza, a single genin from Konoha has injured you to this extent. Do you still think you're in any condition to continue fighting?"

"Especially against me…"

Kakashi's tone was calm, but it made Zabuza's expression twist with anger and frustration.

Kakashi Hatake wasn't an opponent to be trifled with. He was high on assassination target lists, notorious for being extremely difficult to take down.

Now, injured and far from his best, Zabuza knew that facing Kakashi in this state would only end in complete defeat.

The more Zabuza thought about it, the angrier he became.

He never imagined that the Demon of the Hidden Mist would one day be outdone by a brat a mere genin at that.

As Zabuza hesitated in frustration, Kakashi was already preparing a decisive blow.

Against an enemy like Zabuza, Kakashi wouldn't leave any openings.

One careless move could put Sasuke and the others in danger, and Kakashi couldn't allow that to happen.

Just as Kakashi was locking onto his opportunity to strike

BOOM!

A sudden explosion echoed behind him.

The sound came from the direction where Naruto and the others were.

Both Sasuke and Kakashi immediately turned to look.

Smoke and dust filled the air, and Naruto was thrown backward, slamming hard into a tree.

As the smoke began to dissipate, a cloaked figure appeared, their body and face completely obscured.

The figure held the unconscious Tazuna in one hand.

Behind them, another ninja stood with a kunai plunged into Sakura's abdomen.

Blood flowed rapidly from the wound, staining the kunai blade.

Sakura's face was pale.

In that moment, both Sasuke and Kakashi froze in shock.

The sudden arrival of these figures was timed all too perfectly.

"Sakura!"

Kakashi's expression darkened, his gaze icy.

Someone dared to attack one of his genin team members?

They were blatantly disregarding him as a threat.

Zabuza was equally stunned. Who were these newcomers?

Their target was clearly Tazuna as well. What was going on?

'Could it be that Gatoh hired more ninja besides me?'

With Tazuna as the target, this seemed to be the only logical explanation.

As Zabuza was pondering, a wave of intense killing intent erupted, sweeping across the battlefield.

Zabuza glanced at Kakashi in surprise.

'He's enraged, huh?'

'Staying here any longer would be a terrible idea.'

'Hmph, if Gatoh hired others beyond me, then let them deal with the terror of Kakashi Hatake!'

Zabuza slowly retreated, then turned and left without hesitation.

Kakashi didn't pursue him.

Instead, he turned his attention back to the two mysterious ninja who had suddenly appeared.
