Danzo looked at his reflection in the mirror. The newly transplanted Sharingan transformed into a four-pointed Shuriken pattern.

Danzo was surprised.

All those years ago, Shiori had drawn the exact same pattern.

So it really meant that Shisui would have controlled him if not for him taking action first!?

And 7... what did it mean? Shiori is 6 years old, about to turn 7...

Did it mean that Shisui would have used Kotoamatsukami on him when Shiori would have been 7 years old?

Danzo realised how lucky he is. The prediction of future-

He suddenly lost consciousness because of chakra drain.

Meanwhile, Shiori was busy eating the brain of her roommate.

Her symbiote covered form fed on her roommate, her sharp teeth tearing through the skull easily and eating the brain.

After finally finishing her meal, she burped.

Even for Danzo, the scene was pretty disturbing.

'She truly is a monster. But a useful one.'

He thought as he opened her room, or more accurately, cell.

"Ichi, had your meal?"

Danzo called Shiori by her codename. She is the first recruit of her age, thus the name.

For her, she is allowed to eat the roommates assigned to her if she beats them. Her previous roommate had the strength of a full-fledged Chunin. Yet, by sparring in three weeks, she managed to defeat him because of her hunger for brains.

Yes. If she can't beat her opponents, she isn't given the brains she needs to feed on, leaving her starved.

After eating the last bones of her roommate, her symbiote receeded from her head, leaving her head uncovered for Danzo-sama to see her face.

She kneeled to him.

"Yes Danzo-sama."

"Did you have any dreams last night?"

"No."

Danzo pondered about it. Now that the event in which she would have been put under genjutsu and lost her seer ability is gone, she should be able to see further in the future.

Well, it's only one day since Shisui's death. He can wait for a while.

"Your next mission.

There is a small village in Land of Wind, Hikekori. One of the missing-nin of Konoha is hiding there.

You are free to do anything with the villagers.

Fox will teach you how to remove the traces."

Fox is his most powerful ROOT after Itachi. There is no way Danzo is allowing Itachi to know about Ichi.

For Fox, Danzo has given him the orders to protect Ichi even at the cost of his life.

Despite her beastly nature when hungry, she is intelligent enough to outsmart a Chunin at her age.

Ichi nodded and took the mission scroll.

The person needed to be eliminated is a person connected to Mukai Kohinata, a Jonin ANBU member turned traitor who had a Byakugan.

His teammate Kitara Yuuchi, who doesn't know that Mukai has already been eliminated due to being on a long term mission.

As Shiori looked at the photo of Kitara and Mukai, she was confused.

"Danzo-sama, why did this Mukai have one Byakugan, without being a Hyuga?"

"During the reign of First Hokage, some members of branch family were able to separate from the Hyuga clan to live separately.

One of them had a illegitimate kid with a civilian, who didn't inherit the Byakugan. So, while the other branch members were forced to come back to the clan, that kid was not since she didn't have Byakugan.

She didn't have Byakugan her whole life, but her grandson got one. I managed to keep him hidden and save him from the Hyuga."

Danzo answered honestly. While he hasn't applied any seal on Ichi due to the possibility of interference with her seer ability, it doesn't mean that he wouldn't brainwash this child soldier.

So, he has been teaching about history from his perspective, and introducing her to many different things in an attempt to trigger any sort of future dream.

Danzo's new Sharingan, Shisui's eye that has the symbiote inside it, undetectable because it doesn't have any chakra and can camouflage according to the cells it's bonded with, sent a signal to Ichi's symbiote to trigger a 'dream' so that Danzo has a new thing to focus on.

Suddenly, she clutched her head.

All she saw was a Byakugan evolving into a greenish-blue eye, Tenseigan. Nothing else.

"Danzo-sama... a paper..."

Danzo immediately handed her a blank scroll, and eagerly watched her drawing something.

'A new vision?'

Soon, Ichi drew two eyes.

First one was Byakugan with veins around it, and the second was an eye without veins.

"I saw Byakugan evolve into a greenish-blue eye, without veins. Tenseigan."

"Anything else?"

"...No..."

Danzo pondered about this new vision.

According to the history taught to Hyuga's, Byakugan is the most ancient dojutsu, appearing even before Sage of Six Paths awakened Rinnegan.

Danzo, and most others, never believed such a claim. But, accepting that it came before Sharingan was more or less acceptable, and has been propagated in Konoha since Third Hokage's reign.

Danzo never underestimated Byakugan. Afterall, one look could detect a foreign Sharingan that has been given to him by Kagami and expose him.

It was precisely because of this that he recruited Mukai to develop Byakugan blocking seals. Though Hiruzen took him into ANBU later, Danzo had already made a seal by then.

Though it requires big chakra metal clamps all over the hand that Orochimaru made for him from Hashirama cells and Sharingan. His eye can't be hidden.

Speaking of it, he couldn't handle Shisui's Sharingan if not for the chakra boost from Hashirama cells' arm. Kagami had given him his Sharingan willingly and taught him Izanagi when they were escaping from a group of ninjas near the end of First Ninja War.

Normally, a Sharingan can't be handled by snatching it from an Uchiha. Perhaps because its chakra resenting the snatcher resists implantation.

That's why only he and Kakashi managed to have Sharingan over the years.

And if not for his arm, Shisui's eye full of resentment would probably never accept Danzo.

But, Byakugan is different than Sharingan in that regard. A Byakugan stolen by Ao from Mist is used by him without much drawback.

But well, Danzo didn't really care much about Byakugan. And obtaining it was too difficult so he didn't spare much effort in it as much as Sharingan.

But now, Danzo has already started forming plans to steal the Byakugan.

If this 'Tenseigan' is anything like Mangekyo Sharingan, he needs to find out about it.

Danzo has now confirmed that Ichi still has too much value as a seer to risk it by using any genjutsu or seals on her.

And, he has acquired a long term target, Byakugan and its evolution.

He suspected that Neji, the genius of Hyuga clan might awaken it in the future. If so, stealing it will be difficult.

He needs to get his hands on the Caged Bird Seal and the way to remove it.

Killing off any random Hyuga might be not a good idea either. Afterall, a random kid in the Land of Rain awakened the legendary eyes of Sage of Six Paths.

Though, he can't really be called ordinary because he is an Uzumaki.

For now, he needs to obtain any Byakugan he can for research, and keep an eye on all the Hyugas.

He recalled that Mukai had a kid who was very ill, because of whom he was selling Konoha's information to other villages to get enough money to take his son to Tsunade for treatment.

Danzo changed his mission order to Ichi.

"Ichi, forget about this mission. Your new mission is to get Mukai's son into ROOT.

Kidnap him with care and ensure that he isn't harmed."

"Yes Danzo-sama."

Ichi didn't hesitate. Afterall, she didn't understand that kidnapping people is not a good thing. Danzo never taught her that.
