Danzo, who usually relied on a wooden cane to walk, now moved like an eerie ghost swaying with the wind, his speed unbelievably fast. 

He weaved skillfully through the group of ninja attempting to block him, continuing his escape toward the prison's outer perimeter. 

The ones who tried to stop him froze in place for a few seconds before collapsing to the ground. 

Against ordinary Chunin, killing them was no harder for Danzo than slaughtering chickens. 

Unless the number of opponents was overwhelming enough to surround and trap him layer by layer, it would be difficult to effectively block his escape. 

"Danzo, stop being stubborn. Surrender now!" 

Danzo's speed was impressive, but the Third Hokage wasn't far behind, keeping close on his tail. 

No matter how hard Danzo tried, he couldn't shake the Third Hokage. Instead, the obstacles ahead caused the distance between them to shrink even more. 

Trailing behind them, Kazuki didn't rush in to confront Danzo directly. He simply waited for the right opportunity to deliver a fatal blow. 

The crucial task of chasing Danzo was better left to the Third Hokage. 

The two of them knew each other too well, including their respective techniques and trump cards. Yet, some of Danzo's hidden techniques were unfamiliar to the Third Hokage. 

If they stopped and fought outright, the outcome would be uncertain. 

Both held several trump cards and were prepared to fight to the death. 

Most importantly, both Danzo and the Third Hokage were the type of people who wouldn't hesitate to use sealing techniques to go down together. 

Fortunately, the Third Hokage led a group in pursuit, so Kazuki didn't have to worry about Danzo escaping. 

Unless Danzo broke through the thick layers of earth, his only option for escape was through the passageways. 

All Kazuki needed to do was wait patiently for Danzo to fall into his trap. 

Kazuki believed Danzo could evade the pursuit of the Third Hokage and the others. 

Danzo knew he couldn't allow himself to be surrounded. Once encircled, he'd lose all hope of escape. 

As he fled, Danzo began formulating strategies. 

He needed to shake off the Third Hokage and the group of Anbu trailing him while breaking through the encroaching encirclement. 

If he got surrounded, his chances of escape would vanish. 

The good news was that he still had several uses of "Izanagi" left. 

As Danzo swiftly moved through the prison's middle passage, he bit his finger, formed hand seals, and pressed his palm to the wall. 

"Not good!!" 

Seeing this, the Third Hokage's eyelid twitched, and he shouted to the group behind him: 

"Everyone, stop the pursuit! Control the prisoners leaving their cells—don't let any of them escape this area!" 

Danzo intended to destroy the prison and release all the prisoners, creating chaos to aid his escape. 

A sharp, piercing noise echoed through the passage as the cramped corridors began to collapse. A massive creature emerged within the prison—Danzo's summoned beast, the "Baku". 

Seeing Danzo use the Summoning Jutsu, the Third Hokage instantly understood his plan. 

As expected. 

The "Baku", freed from the narrow passage, raised its trunk and opened its jaws on Danzo's command. 

"Wind Style: Vacuum Barrage!" 

Danzo, who had already exited the passage, wasted no time. He coordinated with his summoned beast to destroy the lower levels of the passage. 

The Leaf Prison was constructed in a tiered fashion. Destroying the lower levels would cause the upper levels to collapse. 

This would release a large number of prisoners, tying up the Anbu and stationed ninja. 

As for the damage and casualties this would cause, Danzo couldn't care less. 

"Boom!!!" 

The destructive Wind Style, combined with the 'Baku's" suction force, caused the passage to collapse rapidly. The upper-tier cells began to shake violently. 

The "Four Symbols Seal" explosions had already caused cracks in several areas of the prison. Now, the destruction wrought by Danzo and his summoned beast triggered widespread collapses. 

"Danzo!!!" 

The unfolding chaos caught the Third Hokage off guard. Even as he closed the distance between them, he couldn't press on. 

Collapsing debris surrounded him. 

Amid the roars of destruction, the screams, and cries of despair, the entire Leaf Prison descended into turmoil. 

This chaos was all orchestrated by Danzo. 

He needed the Leaf Prison to erupt into disorder, giving him a chance to escape. 

Danzo understood the Third Hokage too well. When faced with the choice between capturing him and saving the prisoners, the Hokage would undoubtedly choose to save lives. 

"Damn it, save them! Quickly, save them!!" 

Ignoring Danzo, who was escaping further away with his summoned beast, the Third Hokage stopped in his tracks. Using Earth Style, he erected walls to block the falling debris. 

The earth walls and debris served as supports to prevent further collapses. 

'Sarutobi, you can't stop me, just like you couldn't stop Orochimaru.' 

Danzo's hatred for Kazuki ran deep. If given the chance, he'd make Kazuki suffer unimaginable torment. 

Remembering the humiliation he'd endured in the prison, Danzo gritted his teeth. 

The plan was going smoothly. Danzo had avoided being surrounded, and the Third Hokage was forced to stop. 

The tunnel leading to the village lay just ahead. 

Once out of here, he'd have freedom as vast as the skies and seas! 

The exit was within sight. Danzo's icy heart began to warm with anticipation. He was so close to success. 

Danzo darted forward with unmatched speed, his senses on high alert for any potential enemies in the passageway. 

What puzzled him was the lack of guards in the tunnel. 

It seemed the stationed ninja had all been called away. 

The tunnel leading to the Leaf Prison was built spiraling down from the Police Department's rear grounds, containing numerous hidden chambers. 

These chambers were typically manned by many ninja as the final line of defense for the prison. 

But now, the defenses were gone. 

Where was everyone? 

Unusual circumstances often meant danger. The absence of resistance made Danzo uneasy. 

But there was no time to hesitate! 

Time was of the essence. No matter what was happening, Danzo had no choice but to charge forward and escape the prison, the Leaf Village, and even the Land of Fire. 

Otherwise, the village's ninja would eventually catch and kill him. 

"Thud, thud, thud!" 

The sound of his footsteps echoed against the stone steps, growing louder in the passage. 

Closer. He was getting closer! 

Despite his unease, Danzo was relieved to find no enemies along the way. 

The exit was just ahead. With a little more time, he'd be free. 

Even if ninja were blocking the exit, Danzo was confident he could break through. 

His hope for escape swelled as he envisioned his life beyond the Leaf. 

'Screech!' 

The screech of his shoes against the stone staircase left a long black mark as Danzo suddenly halted. 

"Uchiha Kazuki!"
