Code had just devoured the Divine Tree fruit he obtained from Victor after removing his limiter.

Almost immediately, a surge of overwhelming power erupted from within his body.

He closed his eyes to feel it, but his expression quickly turned disappointed.

"A replica is still just a replica… the difference is huge."

After creating a pseudo Divine Tree using Hashirama cells, Victor had used cloned bodies and staff members as nutrient sources to feed the tree. Even after more than a decade of cultivation, it was still far from the real thing—nowhere near what a true Divine Tree rooted in the Earth could offer.

Muttering to himself, Code shifted his gaze to the giant beast before him—

Code floated above the Ten Tails' head, hands flying through a series of hand signs.

Despite the Ten Tails' wild resistance, it was ultimately sealed into Code without issue.

In an instant, his hair turned silver-white, and his skin took on the pale, otherworldly appearance of an Ōtsutsuki. A flowing robe formed on his body automatically, and nine black Truth-Seeking Orbs hovered behind him.

With the combined power of the pseudo Divine Tree fruit, the Ten Tails, and the Karma, Code had successfully elevated his existence to an entirely new level.

"It's a shame… if I'd gotten the real Divine Tree, this wouldn't be the limit of my power."

"But this is enough."

"From this moment on… I am one of the noble Ōtsutsuki!"

Code, who had revered the Ōtsutsuki since childhood, let a genuine smile creep across his face.

"So… this is why you rushed over here all panicked?"

Seeing the confused look on Uchiha Mirai's face, Amado responded in a serious tone,

"Mirai-sama, that Code guy… he's incredibly dangerous. He now controls the Ten Tails. He's going to be one hell of a problem."

He remembered clearly—Jigen himself had once said that Code possessed the potential to surpass even him.

If not for Code's blind loyalty, and the fact that he willingly accepted a limiter, Jigen would never have allowed him to live in the first place.

Seeing how anxious Amado looked, Mirai simply waved him off.

"I get it. You don't need to say another word."

Amado swallowed the rest of his warning and carefully stepped back.

Beside him, Akebi let out a subtle sigh of relief.

To save her from Code, her father had helped him remove his limiter. She'd expected Uchiha Mirai to be furious over that.

But surprisingly, he didn't seem to mind at all.

That unshakable confidence… it was oddly captivating.

Three days later. Above Konohagakure.

A pitch-black vortex appeared out of thin air in the sky.

Code stepped out, his face emotionless as he looked down at the crowd below.

A bunch of inferior lifeforms.

He'd wipe them out—along with this village.

A deep crimson energy sphere formed in his hand and, without hesitation, he hurled it straight toward the center of Konoha at blistering speed.

Boom!

A flash of golden light shot across the sky—Uzumaki Naruto appeared and launched a powerful kick, knocking the energy blast away.

"Konoha will be protected by me. I'm Uzumaki Naruto!"

Seeing Naruto suddenly appear, Code let out a cold snort. "You think you can stop me?"

With that, he turned into a streak of white light and charged straight at Naruto.

The two clashed in midair, their afterimages flickering across the skies above Konoha.

As the fight dragged on, Code's shock grew.

Even in this form… Naruto was matching him blow for blow.

What the hell?!

With a single thought, Code sent his Truth-Seeking Orbs flying toward Naruto.

"I've got Truth-Seeking Orbs too, you know."

Naruto grunted, and in an instant, his fists and feet were covered with the same black orbs.

Boom!

He effortlessly blocked the attack.

"What…?! How do you have Six Paths-level power?!"

Code's face twisted in disbelief.

He'd clawed his way up to this level—combining the Divine Tree fruit, the Ten Tails, the Karma. And just as he was about to shake the shinobi world, this guy showed up… already on the same level?

"Using clones in a fight isn't a great idea, you know."

"Rasengan!"

BOOM!

Code was sent flying, crashing down hard. Just like that, he was completely incapacitated.

Naruto landed in front of him, grinning.

"That was a move Mirai-san taught me. As long as the Earth keeps spinning, this jutsu never stops."

Lying pale on the ground, Code couldn't even speak. Every ounce of his will was focused on resisting the internal destruction caused by Rasengan.

"You really thought that power was enough to challenge Mirai-san?"

"You've got no idea what you're up against."

A few days ago, Naruto had learned everything about Code from Uchiha Mirai, which was why he had stayed on guard in the village.

But honestly… he hadn't expected Code to go down this easily.

He hadn't even broken a sweat.

Dragging Code along, Naruto brought him to the Hokage's office and tossed him onto the floor.

"Mirai-san, I brought you the guy."

Mirai gave a nod and smiled. "Looks like you just completed an S-rank mission."

Naruto's face lit up with joy.

"Really?! Awesome! That means I've finally outdone Sasuke!"

"Mirai-san, I'm heading out!"

Without waiting for a response, Naruto bolted out of the office, clearly thrilled.

Mirai shook his head, a little speechless.

With his presence altering this timeline, the story had veered off course completely.

Naruto and Sasuke… still bachelors to this day.

He couldn't help but wonder—were these two really going to stay single forever?

Mirai glanced down at Code.

"Naïve. All it took was a little trickery, and you brought the Ten Tails straight to my doorstep."
