NARUTO: SECOND GOD OF SHINOBI

Chapter 6: CHAPTER 6

---

After an intense day of physical training, Hiruzen stood in the clearing atop Hokage Mountain, the sun beginning to dip below the horizon.

Sweat glistened on his toned body as he began dispersing his clones, each flickering out like fireflies in the twilight.

This was no mere routine; it was the lifeblood of his training regimen. He needed their experiences—the techniques and strategies they had absorbed throughout the day.

As the last clone vanished, Hiruzen felt a surge of knowledge wash over him. The energy thrummed in his veins, reminding him of the hard-fought lessons of the day.

He took a deep breath, his mind racing as he mentally cataloged the skills they had honed together.

With newfound determination, he gathered his chakra. His focus sharpened as he manipulated it into hair-thin strands that extended out from his fingertips, shimmering in the fading light.

This practice was essential; mastering chakra control was a prerequisite for the advanced techniques he aspired to wield.

Hiruzen worked methodically, weaving the strands into a net. Each flick of his wrist was deliberate, a calculated dance of precision and power.

He could almost feel the strands hum with potential, and a grin crept across his face.

"Let's see how far I can push this," he murmured to himself.

Dividing his chakra once more, he created eighty new clones, distributing about 40% of his chakra among them.

Another ten clones were dedicated to studying seals, each pair working diligently beside him. Hiruzen was resolute; he would master every facet of his abilities.

Another year and a half slipped by, marked by relentless training and transformative growth.

Hiruzen found himself standing on the peak of Hokage Mountain once more, the air thick with the scent of pine and the promise of change.

He was no longer the young boy who had first donned the Hokage mantle; he had become a force to be reckoned with.

As he faced off against ten clones, their movements mirrored his, a flurry of limbs and determination.

His physical strength was astounding, each blow reverberating through the air with a force that sent a thrill down his spine.

Hiruzen felt invincible; he could fight for days, his endurance unmatched. Not even a hint of fatigue tainted his resolve.

"I can't believe how far I've come," he thought, panting slightly as he blocked a clone's strike.

"More power! More speed!" he urged himself, pushing his limits even further. His chakra levels had surged, a testament to his unwavering commitment.

Amidst the chaos of training, a new skill had emerged—**Life Return**. With it, he could alter his physical form, over the time with 1cm a month enhancing his height to an impressive 1.73 meter, without gathering any attention.

He envisioned reaching 183 cm, a presence that would command respect, admiration and more love from women.

"I've reached an exceptional level in chakra control and physical strength," he mused, a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration coursing through him.

"But to reach **Super Shadow** level, I'll need to push harder. And my seal training has peaked too, reaching an advanced version that incorporates space, time, and even fortune."

Hiruzen took a moment to catch his breath, wiping sweat from his brow. "Now, it's time to focus on the techniques in the scrolls," he decided, his gaze unwavering.

"It's time for some preparation," he resolved, his thoughts racing with possibilities.

"I'll initiate my plan soon. The new generation of ANBU isn't quite ready yet; it'll take time. Some are already at Jonin level, while others are still Chunin.

And then there's **Sakumo Hatake**, the White Fang. He's only eight or nine years old now, but I plan to take him on as my disciple."

Excitement coursed through Hiruzen as he made his way to the ANBU training facility.

He chose to observe quietly, blending into the shadows as he watched the operatives train.

The training grounds buzzed with activity; some engaged in rigorous workouts, others poring over scrolls, while a few practiced their techniques with fervor.

Using his **Eye of Insight**, Hiruzen assessed their strengths and weaknesses. He noted the precision in their movements, the determination in their eyes.

After ten minutes of careful observation, he knew it was time to reveal himself.

"Alright, everyone, gather around!" Hiruzen called out, his voice echoing in the expansive training area.

The operatives snapped to attention, their postures shifting to defensive stances, eyes wide with respect and anticipation.

"You all have six months," he continued, pacing before them with purpose. "In this time, you will train under me. After that, you'll be the new ANBU force, directly under my command as Hokage.

I chose each of you because you possess A-rank potential, meaning you all have the capacity to become elite Jonin."

"Understood, Lord Hokage!" they responded, enthusiasm igniting in their voices.

"Very good," Hiruzen replied, his tone steady. "Now, let's begin the training."

With a swift movement, Hiruzen split himself into eighty clones, each utilizing a mere 0.5% of his chakra.

This allowed for personalized, one-on-one training sessions, where he could focus on individual mistakes and correct them in real time.

"Work on your footwork! Keep your stances low!" Hiruzen shouted, his voice cutting through the din of training.

"Yes, sensei!" the operatives called back, their excitement palpable.

Even within just a single day, Hiruzen could see noticeable changes.

Each clone focused intently on improving their technique, and confidence began to replace uncertainty.

As the sun began to set, Hiruzen sensed a plateau approaching. He needed a way to sustain their rapid improvement.

"System, is there a skill like Teacher or Professor that can help me train others and enhance their strength?" he queried, turning his thoughts inward.

"Indeed, Host," the system replied smoothly. "You can initiate a simulation. The system will take over your consciousness or that of your clone to teach them, allowing you to set specific training areas like Ninjutsu and other techniques. Would you like to start the simulation?"

Hiruzen's heart raced with excitement. "Yes, initiate the training!" he commanded.

In an instant, his consciousness began to fade, slipping into a deep slumber.

The clones' eyes went blank, and Hiruzen felt their training methods and efficiency improving exponentially.

Once the simulation was underway, he separated an additional twenty clones. Ten would focus on chakra control, solidifying their chakra outside their bodies, while the other ten delved into elemental nature and shape transformation.

Three clones were assigned to study S-rank scrolls and forbidden jutsu.

This meticulous division of labor was essential; Hiruzen was determined to maximize the training potential of both himself and his ANBU.

After managing the training for his clones and the ANBU, Hiruzen made his way to his office.

Although he typically relied on clones for administrative work, today was different. He had pressing matters to consider—how to solidify his control over the village.

Upon arriving at his office, he opened the window, letting the fresh air fill the room.

He sat down, dismissing the clones used for clerical tasks without alerting the ANBU.

"Today's work is already completed by the clones," he reflected, contemplating his next focus.

Then an important thought struck him. Hiruzen recalled a powerful technique his predecessor had often utilized to maintain oversight over Konoha.

"How could I forget the legendary peeping technique, the **Telescopic Art**? I must create it today.

It will be invaluable for keeping watch over the village against any threats. Yes, just vigilance, nothing else… er, not for any bathhouse spying!" he stammered, quickly justifying his thoughts to himself.

Reassured, he called for one of the ANBU operatives. "Someone!" he commanded, his voice firm.

Within moments, an ANBU member knelt before him, their expression a mix of respect and anticipation. "Go and collect these materials," Hiruzen instructed, handing over a detailed list.

"Yes, Lord Hokage," the operative replied, bowing slightly before departing. Hiruzen turned his attention back to crafting the technique.

The **Telescopic Art** was relatively straightforward; it primarily required the chakra of a skilled user.

Hiruzen poured his focus into its creation, envisioning the future of Konoha, he would watch with it.
