Hashirama Senju, with his title of "God of Shinobi," possessed the Sage Body, mastered Wood Release, Sage Mode, and many other godly techniques. He was undeniably one of the most formidable ninjas in the history of the Naruto series. His debut technique left a lasting impression on every Naruto fan.

Unfortunately, when Hashirama was first introduced in the series, it was through Orochimaru's use of the forbidden Edo Tensei technique.

Revived by Edo Tensei and with his mind controlled by Orochimaru, the great God of Shinobi couldn't display his true power in that battle and ultimately lost to Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, in a fight where Hashirama and Tobirama teamed up.
