Shiwei said with great pride, "Your brother's mutant parasites truly have this ability."

To restore the glory of the clan, it is up to Shiki.

"He didn't use worms."

Shino paused and added, "He defeated Neji with a single punch of his super strength."

"What?"

Shiwei was simply dumbfounded.

The clan had gained attention, but not in the way he had imagined.

"All right."

Shiwei opened his mouth slightly and said, "Forget it, come over for dinner later."

After he left, Shino prepared to put away the mutated parasite.

But then his eyes widened.

There was a trace of strange energy slowly flowing around the parasite, which it then absorbed.

What is this?

Shino was sure this was definitely not chakra.

This energy felt more intense than chakra.

Although it was just a trace, its quality was terrifying.

"I'll ask him tomorrow."

Shino suppressed his excitement.

At the former residence...

Shiki opened the door and saw Shizune in a nurse's uniform.

He glanced at her, thinking it was a pity she wasn't wearing white stockings.

Of course, it was normal that she wasn't. Outside of certain movies, Shiki had never seen a nurse in white stockings.

"Sister Shizune."

Shiki closed the door and asked, "Did you just come back from the hospital?"

"How did you guess?"

Shizune looked a bit puzzled.

"You didn't change your clothes."

Shiki replied casually.

"I see."

Shizune rolled her eyes and asked with a smile, "How about I take this chance to check your health?"

She moved closer as she spoke, the faint scent of medicine wafting toward him.

Her expression reminded Shiki of Anya — a mix of charm, mischief, and a hint of menace.

"No, I'm not sick."

Shiki shook his head.

"Oh, come on."

Shizune reached out to ruffle his hair, saying, "Kids can get sick easily. I even treated a broken bone today."

"Are you talking about Neji?"

Shiki asked, surprised.

"How do you know?"

Shizune paused, then it dawned on her, "Did you injure him? No wonder the wound looked familiar. It was caused by strange strength."

"Just during practice."

Shiki replied calmly, "I didn't use much force."

"…"

Silence.

If he'd used even a bit more, Lady Tsunade might have found it hard to continue the session without intervening.

"I'll go cook."

Shizune gave his cheek a playful pinch and went to the kitchen.

Shiki twitched slightly at her teasing.

Three sentences and she'd managed to playfully tease him twice.

---

A new day.

Saturday.

Shiki still couldn't sleep in, as he was called out by Shizune.

"Good morning."

Shiki glanced at Shizune, who was wearing a kimono-style pajama.

"Your brother is here."

Shizune said with a smile.

"Shino?"

Shiki responded.

"Yes."

Shizune nodded, "He's in the living room."

"I see. Thank you, Sister Shizune."

Shiki went back to his room, put on his coat, and headed to the living room.

"Brother."

Shino held out his hands, showing a container, "Take a look."

"It looks good."

Shiki said as he examined the mutated parasite within.

"Take a closer look."

Shino cut off the chakra flow.

After a moment, as hunger set in, the parasite started to absorb the surrounding energy on its own.

Shiki raised an eyebrow.

It's absorbing natural energy.

"Put it away."

Shiki fell into thought.

This mutated parasite had been born from two parasites that were infused with true essence.

And true essence, after being modified by the system, became a diluted form of Sage chakra, containing natural energy.

It made sense that the parasite could absorb natural energy.

Overall, it was a major breakthrough.

How did the summoning beast sanctuaries — the Wet Bone Forest, Ryuchi Cave, and Mount Myoboku — come to be?

Aren't the Toad, Snake, and Slug Sages adept at absorbing and using natural energy?

Now, with the parasitic insects, there was the potential for a fourth sacred place to emerge: the Zerg domain.

"Do you know anything about natural energy?"

Shiki asked, meeting Shino's expectant, puzzled eyes.

"Not at all."

Shino shook his head.

Just as he expected.

Only three people had ever successfully inherited Sage training from the three holy places: Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Tsunade.

And among them, only Jiraiya had learned an incomplete Sage Mode.

Shiki took a moment to gather his thoughts and gave a brief explanation of natural energy.

Shino's face lit up with excitement.

The idea of something stronger than chakra was thrilling.

Though using it might be difficult, he could rely on his parasitic insects to handle it.

If one failed, he could simply try another.

"I'll go back to practice!"

Shino grinned like a delighted child.

Shiki nodded.

While natural energy might not have impressed him much personally, for the clan, this was practically a revelation.

It could even lead to the development of a new Sage Mode based on parasitic insects.

Shiki thought of Tsunade, who likely had records on the Wet Bone Forest that could offer some insights.

Passing through the grove, Shiki arrived in front of the wooden house.

He couldn't help but raise his eyebrows slightly.

Because Sasuke is high-jumping again.

Has he adjusted so quickly?

But judging from his current situation, his ability to control chakra has temporarily reached a bottleneck.

"Sasuke."

Shiki stopped and called out.

Sasuke looked at him when he heard his name.

After hesitating for a moment, he walked forward.

"Have you ever tested your chakra properties?"

Shiki asked directly.

"No."

Although Sasuke didn't know what he meant, he answered truthfully.

"Then go and test it."

Shiki paused and said, "You can ask your father or brother for chakra test strips."

"Why?"

Sasuke asked, puzzled, "As a member of the Uchiha clan, learning Fire Style Ninjutsu is enough."

Because you're better at Lightning Release Ninjutsu.

"As long as it can enhance strength, any escape technique is useful."

Shiki spoke seriously.

Sasuke was slightly stunned.

If it were someone else, he would probably not listen.

But Shiki had shown amazing strength yesterday.

His words carried weight.

"Look at me, I've learned both medical ninjutsu and taijutsu."

Shiki continued, "If I had only learned medical ninjutsu, I wouldn't have been able to defeat Neji."

"That makes sense."

Sasuke nodded, "I'll go back now."

Shiki smiled faintly.

It's easy to convince him.

But he wasn't making things up.

From what he saw in the original series, Sasuke learns Lightning Release Ninjutsu much faster.

For instance, he only needed a month to master Chidori.

After that, he became proficient in using techniques like Chidori Style, Chidori Senbon, Chidori Sharp Spear, and so on.

Eventually, he created his own S-rank Lightning Release technique, Kirin, which is considered the pinnacle of Lightning Release.

In comparison, his fire techniques are relatively average.

Shiki opened the door.

Hinata was standing behind it, her hands behind her back, looking nervous and uneasy.

When the door opened, she was visibly startled.

"Shi... Shiki-kun."

Hinata said hesitantly.

"Good afternoon."

Shiki tilted his head and looked behind her.

But Hinata quickly reacted, blocking his view with small steps.

"What is it?"

Shiki couldn't help but smile at her flustered look.

"That..."

Hinata's cheeks turned red at a speed visible to the naked eye.

She lowered her head, not daring to look at him, but slowly raised her hands in front of her.

Shiki couldn't help but be stunned.

A knight's belt?

It's still Emperor's.

How does she know about Kamen Rider?

Shiki suddenly understood the reason.

It's Shino.

He had played it in front of her before, out of boredom.

"Thanks."

Shiki took the knight's belt and said.

Hinata breathed a sigh of relief.

She glanced at Shiki, noticing the smile on his face, and immediately felt reassured.

This gift was indeed the right choice.

"Have you eaten yet?"

Shiki asked as he fiddled with the knight's belt.

Although the workmanship was rough, it looked decent and was barely usable.

"No."

Hinata shook her head.

"Okay then."

Shiki entered the cabin and said, "I'll go cook."

"Wait."

Hinata clasped her hands in front of her chest and mustered up the courage to say, "You can add a little chili."

"Are you sure?"

Shiki was a little surprised.

"Yes."

Hinata lowered her head again, speaking in a low voice.

She wanted to get as close to Shiki as possible.

"Then I'll add a little."

Shiki thought about it and didn't refuse.

Half an hour later, the food was ready.

Hinata started eating first.

She picked up the chopsticks, took a piece of meat, and tasted it.

For some reason, it tasted really good with a bit of spice.

Hinata swallowed, stopped being polite, and took one mouthful after another.

Soon, her little mouth was glistening with oil, and her cheeks were flushed.

Shiki smiled.

This made her even cuter.

"Why did you want to give me a gift?"

After finishing the meal, Shiki started cleaning up the table.

"Because... well... Shiki-kun has helped me a lot."

Hinata was still catching her breath as she spoke.

Although it was a bit spicy, she had eaten quite a lot.

"You already gave me pocket money."

Shiki looked up at her.

Noticing the thin layer of sweat on her forehead, he handed her a tissue.
