"Take me to see her," Pakura said after a long silence.

Despite everything, she wanted to see how Maki was doing now.

"Alright," Shishou nodded, holding Pakura's small hand as they vanished from the spot.

They quietly returned to the inn where Sunagakure was staying, and Shishou quickly found Pakura's student.

After observing from the shadows for a while, Pakura asked Shishou to take her away.

Given her current status, it wasn't suitable for her to appear in front of Maki. Just seeing her was enough.

As they walked through Konoha's commercial street, Pakura looked at the bustling crowd and smiled.

"I don't plan to return to the Fire Source Castle; I intend to stay in Konoha for a while."

It was her first time in Konoha, so Pakura wanted to explore the place.

Shishou glanced at Pakura and laughed, "I bet you're planning to seek revenge against the Fourth Kazekage."

Pakura had been betrayed by the Fourth Kazekage for no apparent reason. It was impossible for her not to harbor resentment.

And with the Fourth Kazekage coming to Konoha for the Chunin Exams in a few days, it was a good opportunity for Pakura.

Pakura shrugged and said nonchalantly, "I do intend to cause him some trouble."

Of course, she didn't mention that another reason for coming to Konoha was to spend some time alone with Shishou. Visiting her student or anything else was just a side benefit.

If she was in Konoha, Shishou couldn't leave her behind, giving her the chance to be with him more.

"If you're planning to stay for a few days, go ahead, but try not to cause too much trouble. Tsunade might come after you if you do," Shishou warned, leading Pakura to a secluded forest.

He sat on a rock, took out some makeup from his storage scroll, and smiled at Pakura, "Let me disguise you a bit. If you appear in Konoha as you are, people will recognize you."

As a former elite ninja of Sunagakure, Pakura was quite famous in the Five Great Shinobi Countries. If someone who was supposed to be dead showed up in Konoha, it would shock not just Konoha but also Sunagakure.

Hearing this, Pakura smiled and sat on his lap, gazing at him with shining eyes, "Go ahead, but if you make me look ugly, I won't forgive you."

"You can't beat me anyway," Shishou muttered under his breath, then started to apply cleansing water to Pakura's pretty face, beginning her makeover.

As Shishou's fingers moved on her face, Pakura blushed, her eyes blinking as she watched him seriously doing her makeup.

A few minutes later, Pakura looked in the mirror at her transformed but still beautiful face and laughed, "It seems you've mastered Mikoto's makeup techniques."

"I learned this all by myself," Shishou boasted.

After changing Pakura's appearance and ensuring she wasn't recognizable, Shishou also altered his own appearance.

Then, he took Pakura to a clothing store in Konoha's commercial district to get new clothes for both of them.

"Do you like these?" Pakura asked, her face red as she saw the small shirts and short skirts Shishou had picked out.

She could understand the small shirts, but what was with the short skirts? She was a ninja, not someone who could wear such things.

"It's a rare opportunity to try all kinds of clothes," Shishou explained seriously, picking out a backless red dress next.

Pakura's beautiful back should definitely be shown off in this dress.

"Hmph!" Pakura pouted and started trying on the clothes, her face blushing.

Pakura had a fantastic figure, which Shishou thoroughly enjoyed seeing.

Eventually, Pakura packed all the clothes into a storage scroll and put on casual attire. While the clothes Shishou picked were fine for private wear, they weren't suitable for going out.

Shishou didn't mind, naturally holding Pakura's hand as they joined the crowd, wandering around Konoha together.

Pakura clung to Shishou's arm, enjoying the leisurely time they spent together.

They ate and shopped, enjoying their time.

Before they knew it, it was late at night.

In a hot spring inn, Pakura cornered Shishou in their room, her eyes burning with desire.

Click!

Pakura turned off the room's light switch, plunging the room into darkness.

Rustle!

The sound of clothes falling to the floor echoed in the darkness.

In the dark, Shishou was pressed onto the bed, their skin touching, bodies close.

Something was happening quietly.

The next morning.

"Haah!"

Shishou woke up, yawning.

He was about to get up when Pakura, who had just woken up, pulled him back.

"Sleep a little longer."

Pakura held onto Shishou's arm, pressing her body against his.

She loved the feeling of being so close to him.

"Alright, let's sleep a bit more."

Shishou smiled at Pakura, entangling himself with her.

Already fully acquainted with each other, they soon resumed their intimate activities.

It wasn't until noon that they left the room, hand in hand, heading to the inn's dining area.

As they walked past a small courtyard, Shishou frowned and looked curiously into the courtyard.

"What is it?" Pakura asked, noticing Shishou's expression.

Shishou looked back at Pakura, teasing, "Nothing, just wondering if you'd like to have a child with me in the future."

Pakura's face turned red, and she mumbled, "Didn't you say you didn't want kids until you achieved immortality with sage arts..."

Pakura understood Shishou's views on the bloodline theory in the ninja world. She shared the same thoughts, preferring not to have children until achieving immortality with sage arts.

She had suffered enough due to her weaker bloodline and didn't want her children to face the same issues.

But if Shishou wanted it, she would agree.

Seeing Pakura's shy demeanor, Shishou couldn't resist teasing further, "So, in the future, would you like to have a child with me?"

Pakura's face turned even redder, and she nodded repeatedly.

Shishou glanced back at the small courtyard, then led Pakura to the dining area, laughing, "Then we should keep trying later."
