Naruto: Tenseigan Eye

Chapter 527: Chapter 527

"There is no need for Tsunade to go. In a battle like this, the role of a medical ninja is too limited."

Shinki's plan was to keep Tsunade out of harm's way.

As for the rest, arrangements would follow the Third Raikage's directives.

Against Uchiha Madara, sheer numbers had little impact. On the contrary, a large group might provoke Madara's bloodlust. Once he became serious, he could rain down meteorites, devastating the coalition forces and causing immeasurable casualties.

Although Shinki could redirect the orbits of those meteorites, it was an exhausting effort.

Why complicate matters and risk so many lives when a simpler and more direct approach was available?

The coalition forces had already sustained enough losses battling the White Zetsu army.

"I disagree!" Tsunade declared firmly, her tone brooking no argument.

"Even if the role of a medical ninja is small, it cannot be dismissed. As Hokage, I must go to war. I can participate as a medical ninja."

The Third Raikage exchanged a helpless glance with Shinki, signaling that this was his problem to solve. The other Kage turned away, leaving Shinki to deal with Tsunade on his own.

If Shinki could convince her to stay, so be it. If not, they wouldn't push further.

Looking at Tsunade's determined expression, Shinki felt a headache coming on.

"Do you not realize how much attention a medic attracts during a war?" Shinki said. "Kill the healer first—isn't that always the strategy?"

Even though Madara likely wouldn't initially target Tsunade, her continual healing of wounded allies would inevitably draw his attention. To Madara, such behavior would be nothing short of provocation.

"Either you stay and oversee the situation, or you go fight Uchiha Madara, and I stay here," Shinki stated firmly.

He knew what Tsunade was thinking, but he wouldn't let her take such a reckless risk.

"You..." Tsunade gritted her teeth in frustration. If she went, Shinki wouldn't? If Shinki didn't go, who would stand against Madara?

"Ahem!" Onoki coughed deliberately, cutting through the tension. "I think Shinki makes a valid point. Hokage, you should remain here to manage the coalition. Someone needs to keep an eye on things."

The Third Raikage chimed in, "What Onoki said is true. Besides, Shinki himself is a medical ninja. He can help treat injuries if necessary."

The Third Kazekage added decisively, "Now is not the time for internal disputes. Hokage, your place is with the coalition."

Tsunade was left with little choice but to relent, though her frustration was palpable.

Yagura, silent until now, muttered inwardly, Am I invisible here?

In truth, Shinki's plan wasn't entirely fair. Konoha had already offered its strongest asset—Shinki himself. Tsunade's presence was an addition, but her role on the battlefield against Madara was limited. Even with the Yin Seal activated, she could endure and fight, but against Madara, it would likely amount to nothing more than being a durable target.

Shinki wasn't about to stand idly by and let Tsunade put herself at unnecessary risk. Madara, especially in his Edo Tensei form, was no ordinary opponent.

"I won't die that easily!" Tsunade said, visibly moved by Shinki's insistence but still frustrated.

"Don't be ridiculous," Shinki countered. "Ordinary people can't kill you, but Madara is no ordinary person. If something happens to you, I'll be the one left to clean up the mess."

Without giving Tsunade a chance to argue further, Shinki activated his Tenseigan Chakra Mode. Grasping Onoki and the other Kage, he shot into the sky, leaving Tsunade behind.

"Is this the first time you've carried us like this?" the Third Raikage asked, marveling at the speed.

While the Third Kazekage's magnetic sand allowed for flight, his speed was far slower. Onoki was faster, but compared to Shinki, it was no contest.

Shinki raised an eyebrow. "Because I don't like green."

The Third Raikage: "..."

The others: "..."

You don't like green, so you avoid flying in this mode?

Nobody had time to dwell on it as Shinki's incredible speed brought them quickly to the battlefield. They landed on a mountain overlooking Uchiha Madara's position.

"You've finally arrived," Madara said, his arms crossed as he stared at Shinki. His bored expression shifted slightly as he observed Shinki's chakra aura.

"Tenseigan Chakra Mode, huh? Not bad."

Compared to the standard Rinnegan, the vibrant design of Shinki's chakra form was striking. The glowing patterns of the mode gave it a visual appeal that the standard circles of the Rinnegan couldn't match.

The Rinnegan may be powerful, Madara thought, but aesthetically, it's no competition. The Rinnegan looks like a purple lollipop.

Madara smirked, his expression both amused and intrigued.
