Naruto: Tenseigan Eye

Chapter 536: Chapter 536

In the now-empty underground base, Shinki extended his hand, and the two Rinnegan lying on the ground ascended into his grasp.

Carefully placing the Rinnegan into his pouch, Shinki exited the hidden lair without a second glance. The moment he stepped outside, the subterranean chamber was engulfed in a cacophony of collapsing stone.

Massive boulders rose from the earth, sealing the base entirely. It was a thorough operation: annihilation, obliteration, and permanent concealment.

Shinki considered his efforts meticulous, though neither Uchiha Madara nor Black Zetsu would remain to appreciate the closure.

One had been reduced to ash, and the other had been cast into a temporal rift, destined to drift aimlessly. For Uchiha Madara, it was the most fitting fate—forever beyond the reach of resurrection or manipulation through Edo Tensei.

With this, Shinki's mission was complete.

Return to the Coalition Camp

Upon his return to the coalition camp, Tsunade approached him, her expression a mixture of relief and expectation.

"Is it done?"

"It's done," Shinki confirmed. "Summon the four Kage, finalize matters, and send everyone home."

Exhausted, Shinki reclined onto a nearby sofa, unwilling to involve himself in the logistics of post-battle operations. Such tasks, he felt, were better suited to Tsunade and the others.

"Fine, I'll take care of it," Tsunade replied, sending messengers to notify the four Kage on the battlefield.

The Aftermath

The four Kage—Onoki, the Third Raikage, the Third Kazekage, and an irate Yagura—returned to survey the devastation left in the battle's wake. For a moment, they stood in silence, overwhelmed by the scale of destruction.

Though they had long been aware of Shinki's formidable power, the magnitude of his strength exceeded all expectations.

"If Hashirama Senju was the God of Shinobi, Shinki has ascended beyond even that," Onoki murmured. "He is the True God of the Ninja World."

Seeking to break the silence, the Third Raikage turned to Yagura with a teasing smirk.

"What's the matter, Mizukage? You don't look pleased."

"Hmph!" Yagura scoffed, his disdain evident. The exclusion by the other three Kage had left him embittered, and the dismissiveness he faced during the battle only deepened his resentment.

As the tension grew, a hawk descended from the skies, delivering a scroll. The Third Raikage unrolled it and relayed its contents:

"It's over. Shinki has returned to the coalition camp. The Hokage requests our presence to finalize proceedings."

Hearing this, the Kage departed.

Camp Celebrations

The camp erupted in jubilation upon hearing the news of victory. Shinobi from every village cheered, their spirits lifted. If not for the significant number of wounded and the logistical concerns, the occasion would have warranted a grand celebration.

Yet the central figure, Shinki, had already left for Konoha.

Back in Konoha

Shinki returned to Konoha, leaving the coalition camp and its myriad challenges behind. Managing logistics, redistributing supplies, and caring for the injured were tasks he gladly left to the Kage.

In the camp, discussions over reparations created further complications. Smaller villages, like Takigakure, demanded compensation for the devastation they endured.

Tsunade proposed a modest contribution from all major villages, but Onoki dismissed the idea, citing Takigakure's misfortune as mere bad luck. This incited a fierce dispute with Yagura, who seized the opportunity to confront the long-standing prejudice he faced from the other Kage.

Eventually, the Kage reached an agreement, but the animosity between Yagura and the others only deepened. When the Kage finally returned to Konoha a week later, their exhaustion was palpable.

"Was it really that bad?" Shinki asked, his tone laced with amusement.

"You have no idea," Tsunade grumbled.

Addressing the Rinnegan

"Shinki," Tsunade began solemnly, "the Kage wish to know your plans for the Rinnegan."

Before the war, many had coveted the Rinnegan's power. Now, after witnessing its devastating potential, the consensus was clear: it needed to be destroyed.

Without hesitation, Shinki articulated his decision:

"My plan is to cast the Rinnegan into a space-time rift, where it will be consumed by the spatial storm. Without the Rinnegan, the ninja world will be free of one more source of conspiracy and conflict."

The five Kage readily agreed.

Harnessing the power of his Tenseigan, Shinki opened a rift in space before the Kage and cast the Rinnegan into the void. With this act, the saga of Uchiha Madara and the Rinnegan came to an end.

Restoring Nagato

Back in Konoha, Orochimaru prepared Nagato's surgery, transplanting a pair of eyes cultivated from his cells. Following the operation, Shinki used his Tenseigan's power to mend Nagato's shattered heart.

When Nagato's heartbeat resumed, Yahiko and Konan broke down in tears, their dream of saving the Land of Rain reignited. Even Jiraiya shed tears of joy.

"Touching, isn't it?" Shinki remarked, glancing at Orochimaru.

"Touching? Not particularly," Orochimaru replied with characteristic detachment.

After weeks of recovery, Nagato and his companions left Konoha, determined to rebuild the Land of Rain.

A Fragile Peace

The ninja world settled into a fragile peace. In secret, Shinki resealed the Gedo Mazo, ensuring it could never be weaponized again.

With Uchiha Madara gone, Black Zetsu destroyed, the Rinnegan obliterated, and the Gedo Mazo secured, the greatest threats to the ninja world had been neutralized.

While peace is never eternal, Shinki was confident that no calamity would arise to threaten the world during his lifetime.
