Naruto: The Clanless Prince

The Konoha shinobi united to fight against the coalition forces of Kumogakure and Sunagakure, holding their position at Mount Kikyo.

Mount Kikyo was located on the border of the Land of Fire and served as one of Konohagakure's defensive outposts. The location was strategically favorable for defenders but challenging for attackers, keeping the coalition forces at bay.

This war was particularly brutal. The ninjas from Kumogakure, with their origins in martial arts sects, fought with complete disregard for their own lives. As for Sunagakure, all the Sand shinobi were on edge because of the mysterious disappearance of the Third Kazekage.

Sunagakure had initially hoped to prove themselves in this war, but they didn't expect that the Third Kazekage would vanish right at the beginning, throwing all their plans into chaos.

Later, the newly appointed Fourth Kazekage and the recently instated Fourth Raikage exchanged secret letters and reached an agreement. The Fourth Raikage wanted to repair some of the damage done to Kumogakure. Meanwhile, the Fourth Kazekage, who had only taken office because the Third Kazekage disappeared, had an unstable foundation and needed accomplishments to strengthen his position.

There had been growing suspicions about the Fourth Kazekage within Sunagakure. He had originally become the acting Kazekage with the mission to find the Third Kazekage, but after a long time, there was still no news about the missing leader.

Therefore, to eliminate doubts and achieve merit, the Fourth Kazekage firmly established his position by directing Sunagakure's anger toward Konoha. The Sand shinobi, who now viewed Konoha as the enemy responsible for killing their Kazekage, fought against the Leaf shinobi without fear of death.

The Konoha shinobi had no way to retreat with their village at their backs, forcing them to fight to the death against the forces of Kumogakure and Sunagakure.

Sora disrupted the rear lines of the coalition forces, constantly destroying the supplies of Kumogakure and Sunagakure, causing significant problems for the ninjas of both villages.

The coalition forces had sent a team of ninjas to stop Sora, but after they went, none survived. They all died at Sora's hands.

It was impossible to kill Sora. After all, when Sora wanted to leave, no one could stop him.

Sora was like a cancer that Kumogakure and Sunagakure couldn't eliminate.

Similarly, Namikaze Minato was also sent to fight alone, harassing the rear of Kumogakure and Sunagakure's forces. The two villages had no choice but to establish additional routes for material support.

There wasn't much strategy in this battle; it was mostly a head-on confrontation. But the longer it continued, the better it would be for Konoha. After all, Mount Kikyo was easier to defend than attack.

Moreover, being in the Land of Fire meant supplies were very timely for Konoha. Under the harassment of Sora, Namikaze Minato, and others, it became increasingly difficult for Kumogakure and Sunagakure to maintain their supply lines.

This battle lasted only half a month before the ninja coalition forces of Kumogakure and Sunagakure began to decline.

While Sora was fighting, he noticed a familiar figure.

It was Uchiha Shisui.

Uchiha Shisui was a genius of the Uchiha clan. He was known throughout the ninja world as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" for his mastery of the Body Flicker Technique, which he used to move swiftly across battlefields. However, Uchiha Shisui had never served under Sora, so this was the first time Sora had seen him in person.

"Have you awakened your eyes?" Sora asked, noticing that Uchiha Shisui's eyes had evolved into the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Sora frowned slightly. He was genuinely wary of Uchiha Shisui's eye techniques.

Known as the most powerful genjutsu, Kotoamatsukami, the eye of dominating will, could turn anyone the caster saw into their puppet. Since Sora had been targeting the Uchiha clan, he worried that Shisui might use Kotoamatsukami on him to alter his will.

So Sora took precautions against Uchiha Shisui's Kotoamatsukami. Sora's 'Wan Rejection' technique could counter all jutsu, making it particularly effective against Kotoamatsukami. He placed a special seal over his eyes to prevent Uchiha Shisui from suddenly using Kotoamatsukami on him.

After taking these precautions, Sora found a rock to sit on and observed Uchiha Shisui's battle.

At that moment, Uchiha Shisui was surrounded by numerous enemy ninjas. But he didn't panic at all and quickly formed hand seals.

"Body Flicker Technique!"

Uchiha Shisui used his Sharingan to create multiple afterimages, and these phantoms attacked the enemy alongside Shisui's real body. When enemy attacks hit the afterimages, they didn't disappear.

Almost as if mocking his opponents, Uchiha Shisui killed all the enemies with ease, looking relaxed and comfortable throughout the fight.

After sheathing his ninja sword, Uchiha Shisui looked in Sora's direction.

The next moment, he appeared before Sora.

"Lord Sora," he greeted with respect.

Sora smiled. "Your Body Flicker is truly fast. No wonder they call you 'Shisui of the Body Flicker.'"

Uchiha Shisui asked curiously, "Is Master Sora also here on a mission?"

Sora raised an eyebrow. "Asking about another shinobi's mission details is strictly prohibited."

Uchiha Shisui lowered his head slightly and apologized. "I'm sorry, Sora-sama. I overstepped my bounds."

Sora stood up from the rock. "Since you've dealt with all the enemies here, I will take my leave."

"Please wait!" Uchiha Shisui hurriedly stopped Sora from leaving.

Sora turned to look at Uchiha Shisui and asked, "What is it? Is something wrong?"

Uchiha Shisui opened his mouth. He seemed to have many questions to ask Sora, but in the end, he only asked one: "Master Sora, why do you target the Uchiha clan so much? The Uchiha clan may have wronged you in the past, but after all, we are all comrades from the same village, aren't we?"

Sora looked at Uchiha Shisui and said with a half-smile, "Do you think the Uchiha clan shouldn't be targeted?"

Uchiha Shisui replied, "I just think that everyone is a comrade of the same village. Master Sora, you seem to..."

Sora continued where Uchiha Shisui trailed off: "I'm cruel, merciless, vicious... and so on, right?"

Uchiha Shisui waved his hands hurriedly. "No, that's not what I meant!"

Sora sneered and said, "Fine, I know you all feel this way, and I feel the same. If you think I am a good person, then something is wrong with you. Shisui, let me ask you a question: don't you think the Uchiha clan should be targeted?"

Uchiha Shisui looked at Sora in confusion.

Shouldn't the Uchiha be targeted?

Naturally, Uchiha Shisui had noticed the behavior of his clan over the years.

After Sora finished speaking, he used the Body Flicker Technique and vanished from the place.
