After thinking for a while, he decided to put 10 stat points into his intelligence and five into his vitality.

As soon as he increased his intelligence by 10 points, he found two more advantages. First, his Chakra Control reached 30 and his chakra amount was increased by 500 once again.

Second, his vitality helped him increase his HP by fifty. This was good for his growth since he needed more Chakra and Chaka Control at the same time.

After pushing all of those thoughts into the back of his mind, he finally dozed off.

One and a Half Months Later,

Naruto and his team had been working hard for one and a half months without getting many C-Rank missions.

They do get one or two per week but those often remain simple enough causing Naruto to slowly run out of patience.

Fortunately, he still had the heart to train harder which he did.

During this time, he mastered three things.

First, he managed to master Fire Affinity and Water Affinity. While he still can't use Boil Release, just mastering two affinities was enough. And, he also added two new Jutsu related to these affinities.

Second, he perfected his Jutsu Arsenal. Yes, he perfected it, not completion or high mastery but rather perfection except for his two new Jutsu.

Third, he finally unlocked two powerful abilities of his Uzumaki Bloodline.

With these gains, he was extremely excited about a new C-Rank mission or even hoped to get a B-Rank mission.

With great expectation, Naruto walked out of his building and ran toward the Hokage's Office.

He wasn't surprised to find his team waiting for him but he was surprised to see Team Seven.

He got the message from Kurenai Sensei that he would be getting a special mission this time around. So, he was quite confused by Team Seven's presence especially this early.

"Hey guys, back to waiting for your Sensei early?" Naruto asked with a confused expression.

"Of course not! We are called for a special mission, idiot." Kiba immediately shouted.

"Naruto, we will be doing a joint mission this time. Let's wait for Kakashi to arrive before we start."

Hiruzen answered for Naruto and Naruto went to his team's side.

"So, are you guys excited about this mission? I didn't get enough sleep because of that excitement." Naruto had a grin all over his face.

"Only a troublesome blond like you would get excited for a dangerous mission. A mission that requires two Genin Squad wouldn't be normal by any standards."

Shikamaru barely opened his eyelids and spoke with a lack of enthusiasm.

"Come on, Shika! We know you love commanding me in the battle. You are just sad because those recent missions weren't that interesting." Naruto nudged his shoulder and spoke.

"I don't. I just want to sleep in peace." Shikamaru instantly rejected the idea and went back to sleep. He was even prepared enough to bring a sleeping mask.

"Damn you, Shika! Wasn't closing your eyes enough?" Naruto almost smacked him in the head but controlled himself.

"Naruto-kun, you shouldn't bother him that much. Shikamaru-kun had been compensating for the lack of sleep due to our training." Hinata slapped Naruto on the back and pulled him away.

This attracted Team Seven's attention. They didn't expect Hinata to grow so much confidence in just two months.

"Come on, Hinata! This guy just wants to go back to his previous sleep routine. I am not going to let that happen." Naruto retorted.

"It's okay, Naruto-kun. We know Shikamaru-kun will always give his best during the missions." Hinata shook her head and calmed down Naruto's mood by holding his hand tightly.

In two months, their chemistry has gone very high while still not confessing to each other.

Clack!

Suddenly, the door opened and a silver-haired Jonin holding an orange book walked in. This man was none other than Kakashi Hatake.

When Naruto saw him, his eyes narrowed a little bit.

Five Days Ago,

"Every scroll, every dirty little secret about the Uchiha I tried to find but I still can't understand who that Uchiha was."

Naruto clenched his fist while throwing the scroll on the ground. His entire room was filled with scrolls that hid several secrets of the village.

Nearly fifteen days ago, he ran an investigation using his shadow clones and transformation to its fullest potential.

He was able to gather a lot of information, especially considering how little information he could access with his rank and reputation.

"Maybe you are looking at it from the same perspective as others. Think about this case from a different perspective."

"What does that even supposed to mean? I am thinking about it from different perspectives." Naruto grumbled angrily.

"No, you are not. You are only thinking from the perspective of living. Try thinking about it from the perspective of the dead."

Naruto was stunned for a moment. But, when he started thinking about it, he realized something important.

Impure Reincarnation Technique!

He only managed to read its introduction but he could remember this technique being related to dead people.

It allowed one to bring dead people back to life but at the cost of another life. It was a Forbidden Technique since it plays with the dead.

So, he can't simply ignore the dead perspective.

After thinking about it, he started searching for every single dead Uchiha that had Mangekyo Sharingan. He searched for it and the only conclusion that came to his mind was Madara Uchiha.

But, he didn't consider him as a possibility.

Why?

It was simple actually. A person like Madara would never sneak in like a rat. According to Kyubi, he was too prideful to do that.

So, while he started thinking about the dead people, he came across a file of the dead people whose corpses weren't recovered.

As he began to read the name, the only name that actually came to his mind was.

Uchiha Obito!

He suspected Uchiha Kagami but it seemed like this man would be as old as Hiruzen if he was alive.

So, he pushed him down. He also considered Shishui but his death was after the Nine Tails incident.

So, he focused on one particular name Uchiha Obito.

Normally, he couldn't find proof especially about Obito since he was pretty much liked by every older person in Konoha and he was also remembered by many Jonin.

But, that's exactly where he began to suspect Obito even more.

While searching for Uchiha's secret, he came across the file written by Second Hokage about Uchiha. It was quite a secretive file but he managed to acquire it and copy everything written on it.

So, after reading the scroll, he understood how Sharingan actually worked.

Before awakening Sharingan, Uchiha would be a lovable clan. Their love for others would be even greater than normal people but this is exactly where the problem arises.

Once they awakened their Sharingan, they started using their hatred as a source of strength. In Naruto's words, they became cold-hearted jerks.

And, when they awaken Mangekyo, their personality changes completely. So, the more cheerful a person is, the more cold-hearted he will become.

But, that's not what made Naruto doubt Obito's existence. It was Kakashi's Sharingan.

Kakashi got his Sharingan from Obito during the mission. Before that mission, he didn't awaken it and after that mission, he was identified dead.

So, Kakashi's Sharingan should be one tomoe. But, it wasn't one, nor it wasn't two. It was Three Tomoe Sharingan.

And, that's impossible. Only Uchiha can evolve their Sharingan because of their special Chakra.

But, Kakashi was clearly known as Copy Ninja because he had copied several Ninjutsu with his Sharingan which is impossible unless he has three tomoe sharingan.

He didn't understand why none of the Uchiha ever thought of this possibility.

But after thinking about Uchiha's history, it turned out Lord Second understood Uchiha better than they could understand themselves.

No matter what, Naruto had a little doubt, a doubt that Obito Uchiha was alive.

"Naruto!" Shikamaru's voice woke him up from his thoughts. Everyone was looking at him with suspicion.

"What?" Naruto looked at him with a confused look and asked.

"Maa-Maa! Naruto, you have been staring at me for quite a while." Kakashi giggled under his mask and spoke.

"Nah! I was just surprised that you didn't seal that eye since it costs a lot of Chakra to use." Naruto shook his head and answered while lowering his eyes.

'And, I need to find out whether your eye is truly Mangekyo or not.'
