Chapter 21- Scheming for the Future

-------------

Trading with the system always made me happy, especially when it involved something unique to this world, like the previously obtained chakra purification technique, flame wave jutsu, or the current Spiral Drill Break. Maybe it was because when I used these abilities, I wouldn't have to bear the guilt of "stealing credit" from someone else, I mean that is not always the case but I have a feeling that I am going to use drill break more than the Rasengan . I enjoyed the thrill of using it, knowing it was something authentically mine. But I'd find a way to repay any borrowed inspiration in the future, hmmm, maybe I could help Minato, or just teach him more ninjutsu or the advanced forms of Rasengan, that should do it....though that would also make me indebted to Naruto....ugh nevermind I will think about it later.

For now, I had an amazing plan: to show off the Rasengan in front of grandma Mito and boast just enough to make her want to learn it. If all went well, she'd likely teach me something valuable in return. The beauty of this trade was that I wouldn't even have to ask outright; she'd feel inclined to offer me something back. Knowing her, it would probably be a technique far more valuable than the Rasengan itself. And by exchanging a ninjutsu I'd copied, for techniques of, perhaps the strongest person in the current ninja world currently, seemed more than fair to me. (I am not exactly sure who is stronger between prime Mito and one eyed Madara, so let's just assume her to be the strongest, atleast everyone in the ninja world thinks so.)

The plan was set: act with childlike excitement, like I'd just discovered something amazing and couldn't wait to show it to my grandma. I'd display the jutsu with an over-the-top enthusiasm, then, before she could even respond, launch into a full explanation. This kind of approach might not work on a ninja as perceptive as Mito under normal circumstances, but I was eight years old. At my age, I could get away with things that might be difficult or impossible once I grow older.

I rushed toward the Senju compound, straight to Tsunade's house, and was inside in minutes. The guards recognized me, so they let me through without a word. "Tsuna-chan! Grandma Mito!" I called out loudly, trying to sound as excited as possible.

As soon as they appeared, I burst out before they could say anything, "I completed my jutsu! I finally created an A-rank jutsu, which can even be used without making seals!" I could see the shock on both their faces.

Tsunade, her eyes widening with excitement, asked, "What?! You really created an A-rank jutsu?"

Grandma Mito, however, seemed to be fixated on a different detail. "You created a muji ninjutsu? And an A-rank one, at that?" she asked, her voice laced with both surprise and intrigue. Indeed, muji ninjutsu was rare, something not easily achieved even by the strongest of shinobi.

"Yeah! Let's go to the backyard, I'll show it to you right now. It's amazing!" I said, feigning an excited tone, doing my best to sound like a child eager to show off something incredible. Soon, we made our way to the backyard, where I positioned myself in front of a large tree, Tsunade and grandma Mito watching closely.

"Well, here it is," I said, raising my hand to form the spinning chakra sphere. As I pressed the Rasengan against the tree trunk, a large, semi-spherical hole formed, nearly splitting the tree in half before the jutsu dissipated. The impact seemed to scoop a huge chunk out of the trunk, showcasing the Rasengan's power in full.

Both Tsunade and grandma Mito were visibly shocked. I could tell they hadn't expected my jutsu to be this powerful.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!" Tsunade shouted, practically bouncing in excitement, her eyes sparkling with wonder.

Grandma Mito, on the other hand, seemed to be trying to maintain a more composed demeanor. But the tone of her voice and the look on her face betrayed her excitement as she said, "Indeed, this ninjutsu is very impressive, especially since you don't need to form any seals. It would be an exceptional technique for a surprise attack, and the damage it causes is remarkable."

"Hehe, it's amazing, right? Do you want to learn it?" I asked, throwing the bait.

"YES!" Tsunade replied immediately, almost leaping with excitement. Good one, Tsuna-chan, you're making my job even easier. Before grandma Mito could respond, I jumped in. "This ninjutsu is called the Rasengan. It's a non-attribute ninjutsu, meaning anyone can learn it, regardless of their chakra nature. The technique primarily relies on chakra control, and it involves shaping the chakra into sharp, rapidly spinning strings in a chaotic pattern forming a sphere to create the jutsu. The Rasengan doesn't require seals, allowing it to be created almost instantly, making it hard to guard against. And the damage? It's almost a one-shot killer, perfect for ending battles quickly. And if you want to learn it I've even simplified the learning process into three steps, which include using the rubber ball you mocked me for last time," I explained, unable to keep the genuine excitement out of my voice, of course the last part was for Tsunade.

Grandma Mito paused, looking at me with a seriousness that almost made me second-guess my performance. "Wait, Akira. Are you sure you want to teach us this jutsu? This is your own creation and a very special muji ninjutsu. Most shinobi would make a technique like this their signature move and would probably keep it secret."

Now came the last part of my script. I took a moment, giving her the warmest, most sincere smile I could muster. "Hmm... Maybe it wouldn't be right to teach it to just anyone. But you and Tsuna-chan are the people closest to me, about the only ones I can consider family. So, it doesn't matter if you both learn it."

Grandma Mito's expression softened as she looked at me, and I could feel the affection in her gaze as she patted my head gently. "Well, I can't just accept a child's work for free, now, can I? I've decided that from now on, you'll learn sealing techniques with me. I'm the best there is at it, but I'll warn you—I'm also a very strict teacher. So, prepare yourself, Akira-kun."

It would seem my plan worked even better than I imagined, she has even started to think of me as something sort of family.... which I wouldn't lie is a extremely beneficial for me, and all her sealing techniques.....damn this was better than I expected, now I should teach them the Rasengan first....
