Fugaku first glanced around carefully to ensure no one else was near before proceeding to explain how he managed to use Wood Release—he had transplanted cells from the First Hokage.

As he spoke, he removed his upper garments, revealing the carved face of Hashirama etched onto his chest.

However, during the human experimentation phase, many innocent lives were lost before any real progress could be made. Eventually, Sarutobi Hiruzen regretfully ordered a halt to the research.

Later, dissatisfied with this outcome, Danzo and Orochimaru secretly continued the forbidden studies together, ultimately succeeding in harnessing the power of Hashirama cells themselves, also successfully producing the Wood Release ninja known as Yamato.

Now, due to Heiyan's arrival—a transmigrator from another world—a series of butterfly effects had triggered changes in the history of the ninja world, altering its course unnoticed.

One such change: transplantable Hashirama cells had appeared in the ninja world over a decade earlier than they should have.
