Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

"Roar!!" The terrifying bellow of the Ten Tails echoed across the battlefield, shaking the earth and sky.

"What's happening? Why did that monster suddenly start moving?" Mei Terumi, racing toward the Ten Tails, asked with a frown of confusion.

"It's likely being controlled by the masked man…" Tsunade said grimly, her gaze narrowing on the figure standing atop the Ten Tails' massive head. "This is bad."

There was no comparison—dealing with a rampaging, instinct-driven Ten Tails was difficult enough, but a Ten Tails controlled by reason and intent would be a nightmare.

"At this point, there's no other choice but to face it head-on!" Raikage Ai shouted, his voice unwavering.

On the head of the Ten Tails, Obito stood tall, his mind swirling with excitement as he felt its immense, unfathomable power. "This… this is the power of the Ten Tails! It's still growing, though. It's not yet time for me to become its Jinchuriki… I'll give it a little longer to mature."

Obito's Sharingan and Rinnegan glinted beneath his mask as he observed the Ninja Alliance surging toward him. With a cold sneer, he said, "Until then, you'll all serve as nourishment for the Ten Tails."

Responding to Obito's will, the Ten Tails' mouth—lined with jagged fangs—slowly closed, gathering a massive, ominous surge of chakra.

"It's preparing an attack!" the Nine Tails warned from within Naruto. "Naruto, if that attack lands, the entire Ninja Alliance will be wiped out in an instant!"

"I know!" Naruto shouted, his sharp senses already picking up on the growing chakra.

"We have to stop it now!" the Eight Tails growled from within Killer Bee.

"Break it apart! Stop it, ya fool—bastard!" Bee echoed, agreeing with the Eight Tails.

"Let's do this!" Naruto shouted, determination blazing in his eyes. Beside him, Killer Bee nodded, and both began to gather Tailed Beast Bombs in the mouths of their transformed forms.

"Lady Tsunade!" Naruto called toward the Five Kage.

"I understand!" Tsunade responded without hesitation, turning to the coalition forces. "All ninjas in front of Nine Tails and Eight Tails, retreat! Move to their rear, now!"

Swish, swish, swish! The coalition forces leaped to the sides like a wave, clearing a massive path between the Ten Tails and the two Tailed Beasts.

"Continuous Tailed Beast Bombs!"

With a roar, several Tailed Beast Bombs shot out like bullets from the mouths of Nine Tails and Eight Tails, blazing toward the Ten Tails.

From its perch, Obito sneered. "Feel the true power of the Ten Tails!"

Hum…

The Ten Tails opened its monstrous mouth wider, and an immense sphere of chakra condensed at its center. With a screeching sound, it unleashed a blinding Tailed Beast Laser, cutting through the air like a beam of death.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Tailed Beast Bombs exploded in mid-air, utterly overwhelmed by the sheer force of the Ten Tails' attack.

The beam didn't stop. It swept across the battlefield like a scythe, heading straight for the heart of the Ninja Alliance.

"Damn it!" Naruto shouted, controlling the Nine Tails to leap forward. The colossal form of Eight Tails landed beside him, preparing to shield the alliance.

"We'll block it together!" the Eight Tails rumbled.

The Nine Tails and Eight Tails curled their tails around themselves, forming massive shields of flesh and fur. From a distance, the two beasts looked like giant, coiled onions planted in the desert, guarding the coalition behind them.

"Earth Style: Earth Wall!"

The coalition ninjas quickly erected towering earthen walls behind the two Tailed Beasts to absorb any residual blasts.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The Ten Tails' laser struck the shields of the Nine Tails and Eight Tails, the ground shaking violently under the assault. Despite the immense pressure, the two Tailed Beasts stood firm, unyielding as rocks against a raging torrent.

Behind them, the earth walls continued to rise and crumble, as the coalition ninjas worked frantically to defend their comrades.

After several long, grueling seconds, the Ten Tails' attack finally began to wane.

Rumble…

The final remnants of the earth walls collapsed into rubble. The coalition forces gasped as they looked at the battlefield—the once-mighty forms of the Nine Tails and Eight Tails were now gravely damaged. Most of their tails had been obliterated, and their limbs were mangled and torn. Only their heads remained intact, protecting their Jinchuriki.

"Oh… we're alive!" Some of the ninjas began to weep in relief, their voices trembling.

"Thank you, Nine Tails, Eight Tails…"

In that moment, Naruto stumbled forward, feeling a sudden weightlessness as he dropped out of his Tailed Beast Mode. The form of the Nine Tails dissipated into the air like smoke.

"What happened, Kurama?" Naruto gasped.

Inside his mind, the Nine Tails—cross-legged and panting—answered, "That attack drained every last bit of my chakra. I need time to recover and reform it."

Seeing Kurama close its eyes to gather chakra, Naruto sighed in frustration. "I guess we'll have to hold out until you're ready again…"

Nearby, Killer Bee slumped to the ground as Eight Tails' form vanished back into him.

"Huff… huff… I'm spent, fool… bastard…" Bee muttered, exhausted and drenched in sweat.

The battlefield fell silent once more as the Ten Tails loomed ominously under the blood-red sky.
