Kazekage looked at Raijin with some surprise, a hint of doubt crossing his mind. 

"I'm not sure, but the Konohagakure ninjas have been waiting at the Land of Rivers border for three days and didn't get the supplies, so I came here to ask if Sunagakure is facing any problems." 

Raijin nodded and slowly replied, with his left hand tucked in his right sleeve and right hand in his left sleeve. 

"I'll look into it as soon as possible. By the way, would you be interested in staying in Sunagakure for a few days, Raijin?" 

Kazekage pressed his lips together, a sense of unease creeping up in his heart. 

But now that the issue was in front of him, he had no choice but to handle it. 

"Of course." 

Raijin smiled and nodded, walking toward Kazekage. 

Kazekage stepped aside and led Raijin toward the Kazekage's office. 

"A few days ago, after Konohagakure received supplies from Iwagakure, they were attacked on their way back to the village. I wonder if this information could be of any help to Kazekage-sama." 

On the way, Raijin spoke to Kazekage. 

Kazekage was taken aback, and a flash of realization crossed his eyes. 

So, Raijin probably knew that Sunagakure's supply convoy might have encountered problems, which was why he came here to pressure them? 

Kazekage bit his lip, feeling the darkness creeping into his vision. 

Those supplies were half of Sunagakure's annual income… 

If something really went wrong… 

"Have you figured out who attacked Konohagakure?" 

Blinking, Kazekage took a moment to calm himself, forcing a smile back onto his face before asking Raijin. 

"It should be the survivors from Kirigakure, Kumogakure, and the Rain Village, along with the group that attacked the Uchiha Merchant Association in the Land of Moon."

Raijin said as he followed Kazekage toward the Kazekage's office.

See, Sunagakure has made enemies with Black Zetsu, right? You could say they're sworn enemies now.

So, when Kazekage finds out that Sunagakure's supply convoy has been wiped out, the first people he'll suspect are those who attacked Konohagakure ninjas before.

Of course, Raijin didn't rule out the possibility that Kazekage might suspect Konohagakure as well.

But that doesn't really matter. Even if Kazekage suspects Konohagakure, what's he going to do about it? Is he going to start a war with Konohagakure? Or refuse to pay for supplies? Sunagakure was already the weakest of the five great hidden villages economically.

Now, with all those supplies gone, even if Sunagakure wanted to go to war with Konohagakure, they wouldn't have enough resources. 

In fact, they wouldn't even be able to find allies. After all, Iwagakure has already provided all the supplies they're going to, so why would they help Sunagakure fight Konohagakure?

Are they envious of how things turned out for Kirigakure and Kumogakure?

So, from the day the supply convoy left, Sunagakure had no choice.

Sunagakure could only choose to negotiate with Konohagakure and work out a new payment plan.

As for whether they would later seek revenge on those people, Raijin wasn't sure. He truly doubted Sunagakure's strength in all aspects.

"A group of shameless defeated nations."

Kazekage gritted his teeth and squeezed the words out between them.

"Yeah, but they've really kept themselves hidden well. Since the end of the Second Great Ninja War, Konohagakure has been looking for them, but there's been no result."

Raijin nodded in agreement, showing his shared hatred for these people.

"Konohagakure can't find them?" 

Kazekage looked at Raijin in surprise.

Otherwise, with Konohagakure's current power, unless they no longer exist in the ninja world, there's no reason they shouldn't be able to find them...

Could it be 

that they're hiding in the Land of Wind or the Land of Earth?

Over the years, Konohagakure ninjas haven't entered the Land of Wind or the Land of Earth.

Not just Konohagakure ninjas, but their merchant convoys as well.

It may sound strange, but Shigeru really feels like Konohagakure has imposed an economic blockade on them.

Shigeru believes that it's not just him; Oonoki from Iwagakure probably feels the same way.

"We can't find them."

Raijin shook his head as he spoke, then paused for a moment. After waiting for Shigeru to open the door to the Kazekage's office, he slowly walked inside.

"Aside from the Land of Wind, the Land of Earth, and overseas, almost every other place has been explored by the ninjas of Konohagakure," Raijin said as he sat down in a chair and spoke to Shigeru.

"The Land of Wind definitely doesn't have a place for them to hide. After all, eighty percent of the Land of Wind is desert. What organization would come to the Land of Wind?" 

Shigeru shook his head at Raijin's words. 

"Yes, but just as Kazekage-sama said, no organization would want to come to the Land of Wind. I believe other hidden villages think the same way." 

Raijin nodded in agreement.

"We will make sure to check thoroughly in the future."

Kazekage also nodded in agreement. He recognized that Raijin had a point. When everyone assumed they wouldn't settle in the Land of Wind, perhaps they were actually hiding there.

"Why doesn't Konohagakure consider looking overseas?"

Kazekage pushed aside his thoughts and continued speaking to Raijin.

This group... Kazekage was definitely not going to let them continue existing.

It wasn't a big deal before, because their presence had almost completely disappeared from the ninja world. 

But now, the materials Sunagakure had worked so hard to gather had been stolen by these people.

Even though there was no definite information yet, this only strengthened Kazekage's resolve to eliminate them. 

"Kazekage-sama surely knows how vast overseas is, right?"

Raijin's expression grew slightly helpless, and he responded to Kazekage's question.

"That's true, but here's the deal—Raijin-kun is staying in Sunagakure for now. I'll send people to verify the information as soon as possible. If there's really a problem with the materials, Sunagakure will definitely give Konohagakure an explanation."

Kazekage nodded sincerely as he spoke to Raijin.

"Alright, you're truly worthy of being from Sunagakure. I'll be waiting for news from Kazekage-sama."

Raijin nodded and said to Kazekage as he stood up.

"Mm."

Kazekage smiled and nodded lightly as he watched Raijin leave the Kazekage office. But the moment Raijin left, the smile on Kazekage's face instantly disappeared.

"Boom!" 

A punch slammed into the desk, making a loud thud.
