Naruto The Thunder Calamity

Chapter 319: Chapter 319, The Big Shinobi World

"Do you want to listen to what you're saying?"

Madara, a little helpless, pursed his lips and looked at Uchiha Raijin with irritation.

"Really ugly."

Raijin glanced up at Madara, then pulled out a headband that he hadn't worn in years, and placed it on his head.

He covered his blood-red eye.

"Nine Tomoe Rinnegan, most people would never get the chance to have it."

"I never said I didn't want it. In fact, I really want it."

Raijin responded to Uchiha Madara without hesitation.

"You're quite honest."

Madara chuckled helplessly when he saw this, and his figure disappeared into the snowy space.

"Whoosh~"

Raijin slowly exhaled, looking at the spot where Madara had stood.

Finally, something's been accomplished.

Although it seems like there's more to come...

His figure slowly faded, and the next moment, Raijin appeared in Konohagakure.

"Well, tell me. What did you find out from Otsutsuki Isshiki?"

Madara turned around and asked Raijin.

"I won't tell you."

Raijin raised an eyebrow, hands behind his back, and walked toward the Konohagakure Research Center.

"Hey~"

Madara called out to Raijin helplessly.

"Think about it over the next few days. When the high-level meeting of Konohagakure happens in three days, we'll talk about it. Otsutsuki Isshiki does indeed have a powerful family behind him."

Raijin slightly turned his head and spoke to Uchiha Madara.

Not wanting to keep Madara in suspense, he briefly told him.

"Take these few days to think about it. We need to figure out how to defeat multiple enemies stronger than both you and me."

Raijin continued walking toward the Konohagakure Research Center as he spoke.

Right now, there was something Raijin needed to discuss with Orochimaru.

"Multiple enemies stronger than me and Raijin..."

Madara didn't ask any further questions as he watched Raijin's retreating figure.

In fact, Raijin had already given him a lot of information.

It seems that the family behind Otsutsuki Isshiki is truly a massive force...

---

Konohagakure Research Center.

"Bang!"

Raijin kicked open the laboratory door.

"Yo? I thought it was Tsunade."

Senju Tobirama raised an eyebrow but didn't turn around. He kept working on what he was doing.

"Now I can understand how Tsunade feels."

Raijin leaned against the doorframe, closing his eyes as if savoring the feeling from before.

"Does it feel good?"

Senju Tobirama grunted lightly, slowly finishing his task before turning around, leaning against the lab desk, and looking at Raijin standing by the doorframe.

"Definitely feels good. When has he ever done anything so outrageous from childhood until now?"

Orochimaru took off his gloves and continued Senju Tobirama's sentence.

"Since you did well on your task today, I'll let this slip just once."

Senju Tobirama chuckled lightly after hearing this.

"Hmph!"

Raijin snorted lightly, slowly opening his eyes and looking at the three ninjas in front of him.

He raised his hand slowly, and two pieces of sand iron floated between him and the three ninjas.

"On the left, Otsutsuki Isshiki's arm. On the right, Otsutsuki Kaguya's arm."

As Raijin's words fell, the expressions of Senju Tobirama and Orochimaru changed instantly.

"Orochimaru, I did what I promised you.

Raijin tilted his chin slightly, speaking to Orochimaru.

"Mm... Thank you! Thank you..."

Orochimaru was stunned for a moment, looking at Uchiha Raijin with surprise.

To be honest, Orochimaru thought this would be his life.

But he didn't expect... Raijin actually did it.

"Now this is my spoils of war. I have enough authority to deal with it. Everyone in this lab can extract genes from it to improve themselves. As for completely popularizing it, we'll talk about that later," Raijin said to Orochimaru.

"Alright."

Orochimaru nodded without hesitation and agreed.

"Did you get any valuable information?"

Senju Tobirama glanced at the two pieces of sand iron and then asked Raijin.

"Yes, very valuable."

Raijin sighed with some regret and closed his eyes.

"These two have a huge family behind them, very large. If they want, they can destroy Konohagakure anytime. As for the details, we'll hold a high-level meeting in a couple of days and discuss it then."

"Why wait two days? Today works fine," Senju Tobirama asked, slightly confused, looking at Raijin.

"Ah... I want to rest for two days. I'm a bit tired," Raijin replied to Senju Tobirama.

"Alright, no problem. Just let me know when you're ready," Senju Tobirama chuckled lightly but didn't refuse Raijin's request.

Since Raijin wanted a break, then he could rest. No matter how big the danger waiting for Konohagakure, two days wouldn't make much difference.

"Alright, I'm off then."

Raijin waved his hand and said goodbye to Senju Tobirama and Orochimaru.

"Mm."

Senju Tobirama nodded and, with that, Raijin's figure vanished.

"Back?"

In the yard, Tsunade was watering the flowers. Sensing movement behind her, she raised an eyebrow and turned around.

"Yeah, back," Raijin nodded and took a couple of steps forward. He wrapped his arms around Tsunade's waist and rested his chin on her head.

"Tired?"

Seeing this, Tsunade didn't move, just quietly asked Raijin.

"Exhausted. When I was in the space of the Heavenly Realm, I shattered Otsutsuki Kaguya's world!"

Raijin immediately said to Tsunade.

"That's amazing!"

Tsunade nodded and softly replied.

"Finally, they're all gone. For the next two days, I don't want to do anything. I'm just going to sleep. No one is allowed to bother me. Let Naruto take his Rasengan and stay as far away as possible."

Raijin released Tsunade, turned around, and walked toward the room with his hands behind his back.

"Mm, just sleep, not doing anything."

Tsunade laughed lightly and said without hesitation.

The kid has worked hard for so many years; what's wrong with taking a break for two days? It's reasonable!

"Just sleep!"

Raijin nodded heavily in agreement and walked into his room. He lay on the bed and immediately fell asleep.

To be honest, Raijin knew that some preparations are better done early.

But he's really tired.

It's not just about how many things he's done over the years; simply taking down Otsutsuki Isshiki and Otsutsuki Kaguya was exhausting.

It might seem simple, just taking down Otsutsuki Kaguya with a few moves alongside Madara.

But before facing Otsutsuki Kaguya, Raijin first dealt with Otsutsuki Isshiki, then turned those six masked men into puppets.

At the same time, Raijin's shadow clone was working with Madara to hold off Otsutsuki Kaguya.

Although a lot of it was talking...

But the later sealing techniques, the railgun, breaking through barriers with force, and even devouring Otsutsuki Kaguya—all of these took a huge toll.

After this battle, Raijin's shadow clone, which contained eighty percent of his energy, disappeared.

The Yin sealing was undone.

As for devouring Otsutsuki Kaguya, it seemed like Raijin had replenished himself.

But as the saying goes, "To take something, you must first give something."

Devouring Otsutsuki Kaguya also put a significant strain on Raijin's body.

Normally, when Raijin is in good condition, he could do all these things without breaking a sweat.

But with everything piling up, even Raijin was starting to struggle.

~~

Raijin quietly crawled over to Tsunade, who gently placed her hand on his shoulder and patted his back softly.

"Sleep, take a good rest."

Her gentle voice seemed to be the best lullaby in the world. Raijin closed his eyes, found a comfortable spot, and drifted into a deep sleep.

And he slept for three whole days.

"Ah~"

Stretching his limbs to the limit, Raijin let out a big yawn and slowly sat up, groggily looking at Tsunade beside him.

"I thought you'd still be sleeping."

Tsunade smiled lightly as she looked at Raijin.

"Woke up naturally. It felt great."

Raijin rubbed his eyes and tossed his messy hair behind him.

As soon as he opened his eyes, there was a pile of things to deal with.

The first thing on his mind was to fill up the Yin Seal.

To be honest, if he hadn't learned the Yin Seal, he wouldn't have felt anything.

But ever since he learned it, if the Yin Seal isn't full, he always feels a bit insecure.

"Let's have some porridge first."

Tsunade brought over a bowl of white porridge, made simply by boiling rice and water together.

It tasted really good, and with some pickled vegetables, it would be even better.

"I love you."

Raijin sat cross-legged and took the porridge that Tsunade handed him.

"Hmph, you only love me at times like this."

Tsunade said playfully as she sat next to Raijin.

"I'm going to notify everyone. We're having a meeting in the Hokage's office tonight. Everyone's pretty anxious."

Tsunade added as she continued explaining to Raijin what needed to be done next.

"Okay."

Raijin nodded as he slurped his porridge.

"I'll leave after I finish eating."

Raijin paused for a moment and then spoke again.

"No rush, we still have over two hours."

Tsunade smiled helplessly at his response and said to him.

"After this meeting, I plan to leave Konohagakure for a while."

Raijin nodded and responded to Tsunade.

"Is there something you need to do?"

Tsunade was slightly taken aback and her smile faded.

"After unlocking the Eight Gates, the progress of Permanent Senjutsu has nearly slowed to a halt. I want to find a way to break through."

Raijin explained to Tsunade.

"A way to break through? Do you already have a direction?"

Tsunade asked, curious. Raijin had always been the fastest in his training.

As of now, he was the only one in Konohagakure who had fully opened the Eight Gates.

"Yeah, I think the permanent Senjutsu could keep improving the body's limits indefinitely. But right now, if I only rely on this ability to enhance my power, it won't mean much."

Raijin nodded as he spoke to Tsunade.

Once the Eight Gates are fully unlocked, almost all of the body's hidden potential has already been tapped.

In this case, permanent Senjutsu could indeed continue to raise the physical limits.

Maybe, in the far future, it could even raise the level of life itself.

Just like the snakes in the Great Sage Toads' Cave in Mount Myoboku.

But that would be an extremely slow process.

Especially with the threat of the Otsutsuki family looming. Relying on slowly absorbing natural energy to strengthen oneself...

That's probably something they won't be able to do even after the tombstone has weathered.

So, Raijin decided to try a different approach.

Honestly, in his past life as a struggling author and a gatekeeper, Raijin was quite solid when it came to theoretical knowledge.

Whether it was the Zen-like philosophy of the Qi Master in a game, or the concept of using strength to prove one's path in the ancient chaos stories.

Raijin could easily give you a few lines on both.

Now, what he had to do was turn these theories, or perhaps delusions, into reality.

As for whether it would succeed? That didn't matter.

Before permanent Senjutsu was developed, no one believed it would really work.

But if you don't try, how would you know it will succeed?

"Alright, but make sure to come back soon."

Tsunade said as she pursed her lips, looking at Raijin.

Although she didn't stop him, the sense of disappointment in her voice was clear.

"Anything else?"

Raijin chuckled lightly, handing his empty bowl to Tsunade.

"Yes."

Tsunade gave Raijin a helpless glance, took the bowl, and turned to head toward the kitchen.

"Sigh…"

Raijin sighed quietly as he watched Tsunade's figure leave.

You think Otsutsuki Kaguya is the final boss?

Wrong. Otsutsuki Kaguya is just a newbie village boss.

This vast ninja world is nothing more than a small starter village.

Right now, it's just that a player with cheats has shown up…

…

In the Hokage's office, Raijin and Tsunade sat side by side, looking at the group of high-ranking officials who managed various affairs of Konohagakure.

Namikaze Minato still had a notebook in hand, preparing to record the meeting's content.

"Jigen, the main body Otsutsuki Isshiki, is dead.

Otsutsuki Kaguya was devoured by my Ghost Bud Technique, and as a result, I activated the Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan. If all the Tailed Beasts are extracted, I should be stronger than the Sage of Six Paths."

Raijin spoke slowly, hands clasped, addressing the group of ninjas.

"If possible, please don't do that."

As soon as Raijin finished, Namikaze Minato immediately spoke to him.

This was no joke. Kushina was the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki…

If the Tailed Beast is extracted, the Jinchuriki would die!

"The Tailed Beasts must be extracted. This is crucial."

Raijin responded, looking at Minato.

Minato's face instantly turned pale, his eyes filled with complexity as he looked at Raijin.

"So, the main research direction for the Konohagakure hospital from now on is to find a way to extract the Tailed Beasts while ensuring the Jinchuriki's safety."

After speaking, Raijin glanced at Tsunade beside him and softly said,

"Thanks for the hard work."
