Naruto: the Uchiha's path

Endless rain continuously falls, bodies Strone about the area.......all with faces of absolute horror, shock, pain and helplessness.......

A stark representation of a great battlefield.

A figure sitting atop a laying dead body. 

"Hmmmmmmm....." A solitary figure in the middle of that carnage hands clasped and head tilted to the ground seemingly quietly contemplating.

"Kazama! we're retreating." a female voice was heard. A distinct person of authority. Kazama turns and catches blonde hair in his vision hovering close beside white hair, and black hair making up the rear.

"The battle with hanzo?...." The figure now known as kazama....questions after witnessing the 3 peoples state with a surprised expression. "What happened lady tsunade?"

"Do not worry about it right. We need to leave." Before tsunade could say anything the black haired who could only be none other than orochimaru rasps out....quietly watching his surroundings from the back almost as if expecting an ambush and not being allowed to leave.

"Lets.....just go...." The white haired gallant looking figure who could be nothing more than jiraiya had a solemn look on his face, urging a quick evacuation....

"Right I don't have much chakra left but I'll try to watch your backs." Kazama gravely promises. 

His hair flowing in the harsh rain. A picture of vigilance on his face.

The group makes a dash out of the area making distance away from the carnage. A complete massacre of an enemy force.

A lone head band lay next to a deceased ninja-markings on it representing 2 boulder like shapes intertwined with each other.

A representation of the village of IWAGAKURE!......

"NINJA ART: DEADLY CRY!!!" A shout and......

An undeniably horrid sound shockwave erupted within the ravine!

Many low level shinobi unprepared and too slow to use chakra to protect their ears were assaulted with full force by this technique-promptly falling unconscious, foaming at the mouth!

The middle level shinobi faired better. Able to barely withstand for a bit before thinking to use their chakra to clog and protect their ears quickly after......

And the high level shinobi were the least affected only experiencing a small stun and even then many of them already sensed something was wrong and by pure instinct protected their ears with chakra before they were hit!

The forward scouts of konoha was apart of that group.

The veterans in the Iwa contingent eventually realized something incredibly fearsome!....

"ITS-ITS THE BROKEN WAIL!!!-AARRGGHH!!" Many shouts erupted from groups of iwa-nin before a whole section of them was cleaved out and blown away instantly dying mid air. A horrible screeching sound still following in wake. 

"Ninja art: travelling wail stone!!" That's right. Another technique from none other than miyazaki kazama, the broken wail!

If a medic nin were to check out the reason for the sudden death midair of the iwa-nin affected they would find something horrifying.......

Because the one effect of this deadly man's technique was turning the brain and the organs of the ears themself to complete mush! a terrifying way to go out!

Following that localized blast of sound. A figure dashes through the made path and suddenly appears in front of the konoha scouts.

"CAPTAIN KAZAMA!?" The scouts shouted.

"Good work! we're extracting you all out of here. We can't lose good shinobi like you in some random ambush before we even make it to the true battlefield." As he says that-Droves of konoha-nin leap out from the fray and hiding immediately surrounding the Iwa-nin! a funny turn of events.....the Iwa-nin originally preparing to do the ambush was ambushed themselves and boxed in by their targets.....

"Commander dokin! your orders!?" A fretting Iwa-nin called out to their spokesperson and commander, Mutai dokin!

mutai dokin, the iwa-nin commander known for his powerful earth golem ninjutsu and even more powerful kekkei genkai, lava release! known as the 'lava spitting giant' on the battlefield for his signature fighting styles of using golems and spitting massive streams of lava while atop one!

"Tch...sigh.....PREPARE TO FIGHT!!! I DONT CARE IF ITS THE BLOODY BROKEN WAIL OR THE SAGE'S GREAT GRANDCHILDREN!!! WE NEED TO BREAK OUT OF THEIR FORMATION NOW!!!" Dokin commands loudly before he himself prepares to dash in, preparing to engage the most deadly shinobi here.

And that shinobi could be none other than miyazaki kazama himself.

"Regroup with our konoha-nin formation now! kamatachi's worried sick about you three. We'll cover you. We are planning to waste this large group of Iwa-bandits and move on." Kazama commands calmly.

"Understood!" Chiyoko, mikage and Kenichi, fully aware of the situation was preparing to make use of the path kazama made in his entrance to regroup with the full brunt of their comrades. 

"To all konoha-nin! you know what to do! let them have it!" A shout from kazama prompts the surrounding konoha nin to shout in affirmative and brandishing kunai with something special attached to them!

Exploding tags!

They let loose! swarms of black objects permeate the area before starting to ignite in a fiery light!

The Iwa-nin preparing to rush at and fight the konoha-nin on dokin's order stopped cold and suddenly scattered!

Some slinked underground to try to escape and others rushed handseals to hastily bring up walls from the earth in attempt to tank the coming explosions 

in the end-

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!~ BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!~ BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!~................

multiple explosions erupted blanketing key areas of the ravine where the iwa-nin were struggling together at.

under such mighty explosions the konoha scouting group quickly dashed through making their way to the other end being received by comrades and medic-nin of their army!

"DAMNIT!! EARTH RELEASE: EARTH GOLEM!!" Amidst the explosions a massive golem erupts! A figure on top.........

After the explosions calmed down. The surviving Iwa-nin re-gathered together creating a defensive formation.

"THE SITUATION IS DIRE!! FORGET THE WOUNDED! CHARGE AND BREAK THROUGH!!!" Dokin commands on his golem, he himself also beginning the charge. His target? Kazama!

"Finish the iwa-nin off. The commander is mine!" kazama calmly commands

"OU!!!" The entire contingent of konoha-nin shouts in affirmative before they themselves begin charging in to the iwa-nin with fervor.

Like a man with a grudge, dokin makes his way to where kazama was while weaving handseals, preparing to let loose a stream of lava but-

"Ninja art: Great applaud!" Kazama was faster. Dashing in making a hand seal and then with a mighty clap towards dokin and his golem! A blast of crushing sound waves rushes out! 

"shit!" Dokin curses and tries to twist his golem out of the way of the attack but only manages to save half his golem...the rest dismantled by the 'great applaud'.......

Soundwaves flying by him cutting his golem in half dokin speaks with a tone of fury as he jumps of his broken golem. "Ofcourse...using your chakra to create severe vibrations that causes catastrophic effects. I'd expect nothing less from you kazama" Dokin takes a good look at kazama, sizing him up.

Hair green as grass hidden behind his head band, done up in a bandana like covering. Scar on the right cheek of his smooth face, gray eyes. Wearing the regular konoha jonin flak jacket and dark blue long sleeved shirt and pants with black sandals separated by bandages and a tanto strapped to his lower back. 100% the man known as 'the broken wail' miyazaki kazama.

"Its been a while dokin. I didn't think you'd manage to dodge death till this day." Kazama calmly comments "you are a real survivalist aren't you" kazama continues, watching dokin carefully.

Hair as black as night, black eyes, regular headband. Wearing red shirt and red pants with the brown iwa jonin flak jacket on top of the shirt and black sandals. a medium sized scroll strapped to his back, the one known as 'lava spitting golem' mutai dokin.

"Urgh! why would I ever let myself die before I kill you! A stain on my record!" Dokin claps back.

"Times are changing. its no longer the 2nd shinobi world war. I promise you no one cares about your faulty record right now." Kazama makes a provoking jab at dokin.

"If only I hadn't lead my shinobi into you back then.......forget it!" Dokin prepares to dash in.

"Your gonna fight me and then what? run away again? shaming yourself twice?-" kazama continues to provoke and prepares to dash in himself

"NO! IT'S TO KILL YOU NOW AND REMOVE THE SHAME!" Dokin finishes for kazama.

The two meeting in the middle, a punch thrown by both at the same time, fists bumping against each other in a powerful force before they split off...

Kazama draws his tanto and dashes back in, dokin weaves handseals and summons a boulder from the ground and sending it flying towards kazama "Earth release: Rock shot!" 

With a swipe of his tanto, kazama cuts the rock shot in half passing by the two piece without harm, continuing on his path. Dokin brandishes a kunai and dashes in starting a CQC feud.

Kazama's tanto swipes from the left at dokin's throat which was blocked by the kunai from dokin, quickly retracting his tanto, he decided to test dokin's defense by following up with a quick right diagonal swipe, which was also blocked, then a quick flurry of swipes to his abdomen with dokin blocking each one....

The sword and kunai flashes as sounds of screaming shinobi, death and carnage erupts around them. Back and forth with each other, dokin pierces his kunai forward aiming for the heart which was blocked by Kazama's tanto. kazama shifted himself to the right with that block and swung at dokin's side "damn-" dokin feeling pressured quickly backed off....

All of a sudden dokin started making handseals but then he looked towards kazama expecting another charge but was surprised he was also making handseals!

"Lava release: Great eruption!" Dokin began spewing a large amount of lava from his mouth, hoping to cover kazama in a burning cesspool of death but-

"Ninja art: wailing blade!" Heavy vibrations overtakes Kazama tanto, a screeching and horrid sound clouds the atmosphere before he swung his tanto forward ejecting a screeching blade of death that directly cut the flowing lava neutralizing it and continuing onward toward dokin completely slicing him in half-

That would be a fight ender..........If it was any other ninja but dokin is better than that

"Hmph." Kazama coldly snorts because what he just cut in half was only a rock clone-the enemy had quickly substituted himself with one. Kazama looked around seeing no sign of dokin "I was half expecting you to run again like back then.......but clearly not this time"

Kazama all of a sudden starts making hand seals-"Ninja art: Wail pressure surge!" Violent vibrations erupts at the ground around kazama, causing earth quake like shaking-

All of sudden the ground exploded near kazama and dokin erupts quickly. Clearly dokin was travelling underground in an attempt to sneak attack kazama but Kazama's combat experience was too great so a trick like that, which he experienced atleast a 100 times won't work on him "YOU DAMN-EARTH RELEASE: GREAT EARTH GOLEM!!" A golem way larger and more sturdy than ones he's shown earlier erupts with him, eclipsing that area of the ravine.

the golem didn't hesitate instantly swinging its fist downward to smash kazama, of which kazama who was startled for a bit, hurriedly dodged by jumping to the left.

Caught in the air another fist from the golem came. "HAAHHH!!" Dokin screams in exertion.

"Tch!" Kazama was forced to use his tanto to help block the golems massive arm.

The massive impact came sending kazama flying wildly.....

But dokin didn't let up. Immediately going through handseals for his signature tactic "Lava release: Great eruption!" spewing more massive streams of lava towards Kazama's location.

Kazama, who landed roughly aways from the golem, a bit numb from the strike but still full of combat prowess, quickly sensed the incoming lava, rolled to his feet and nimbly dodged to the side again avoiding the scorching stream of lava while secretly making a hand seal "Shadow clone technique." Two perfect replicas of himself appears and they rush at the sides of the golem while the real kazama makes a forward charge.

Dokin seeing this quickly commands his golem to swipe at the clone rushing to its left side while he goes through more handseals "Lava release: overflow!" spewing lava on the ground that quickly spreads and envelops the area infront of him and his golem......

The golems swipe was dodged by Kazama's clone. The clones stopped just before the spreading lava and began making handseals the moment the real kazama got close enough "Ninja art: standing ovation!!" an extremely loud and powerful force of soundwaves blasted out in the area after the two clones all of a sudden clapped, blasting the golem directly and sending lava flying in the opposite direction. Dokin quickly leapt of his dying golem while flooding his ears with chakra to protect from the properties of this jutsu "UURGGH!" the effects were still very disorienting even after all of that.

Landing roughly and trying to reorient himself he was met face to face with the real kazama who already had another jutsu prepped! "Ninja art: Great blaring murder paw!!" Sending a palm strike towards dokin-his target quickly scrambles to dodge while making handseals.....still affected by the previous jutsu "E-earth release: Multiple earth flow walls!!" Three huge walls of earth erupts in front of him as Kazama's palm strike reaches.

SCRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECHHHH!!!~

A loud horrid sound was heard completely destroying the multiple earth walls and disorienting dokin further even though his ears were still be protected by his chakra "AARGHH!!" dokin uses his hands to plug his ears while stumbling and falling over roughly....

Kazama weaves more handseals "Ninja art: Travelling wail stone!"

A long ranged blast of straight soundwaves erupts from his mouth........

Dokin, his eyes bloodshot and his ears slightly bleeding quickly rushed handseals and slinked into the ground as deep as he could again. "Gasp! E-e-ea-rth release: Hiding...like a Mole!" 

After slipping underground to avoid the killing jutsu he didn't stay their-quickly jumping back up out of the ground with a jutsu already prepped. "L-lava release: Great eruption!" Blasting more streams of lava directly toward kazama, his target quickly makes his own seals however....

"Ninja art: Wailing claw!" multiple blades of screeching soundwaves erupts from his left hand completely dismantling the incoming lava and heading to completely dismember dokin to pieces.

"D-DAMN YOU BROKEN WAIL!!!" Dokin struggles out before he was bisected completely in multiple places....but again like last time-this was only a rock clone!

"You think you can run again? Ninja art: Wail beacon!" Kazama makes a stomp. all of a sudden waves of extremely soft vibrations spreads out quickly sussing out an anomaly in the ground due to feedback from movement. Without hesitation and any wasted movements, kazama quickly rushed to the spot of the anomaly brandished his tanto and making more handseals "Ninja art: wail pressure surge...." That immediately did the trick like before forcing dokin out of the ground again-

"NO!" He startlingly shouts raising his kunai to block an incoming strike from the tanto......only unfortunately the tanto was covered with some form of insurance......

"Ninja art: wailing blade!" Because of the constant vibrations creating a deadly screeching sound its piercing and cutting power directly increased to the extreme-it cut straight through dokin's kunai and completely cut through dokin spraying blood in every direction.....

"AARRRGGGHH!!!...." Dokin falls completely defeated bleeding from the eyes, nose mouth and ears, brain moderately damaged from not being able to protect his ears with chakra in time. "haaaaahhhhh......" He gasped, eyes clouded as he faces the night sky...that was eventually blocked by his enemy.

"Sigh.....you still tried to run...." Kazama shook his head, as if a father disappointed in his child "All that just to reach this point....." He continued.

"Uuu-UAAGHH YO-O-OU......." Dokin tried to argue and clap back but his state wouldn't allow him to.....

"Rest well. Don't think about how you died miserably here when you reach the pure lands....I'll see you there eventually......." Kazama turns and walks away-not even bothering to deal a final finishing blow.....well you see dokin's state not even tsunade in her prime can heal that amount of damage quick enough before he dies straight on the spot even if she reaches here the next moment.......

Dokin's clouded over eyes watches Kazama's back as he leaves. He feels a reminiscence of the past........of the 2nd great shinobi world war.....in the land of rain....his entire squadron slaughtered by this one man while he runs away in cowardice........Who knows what else dokin was thinking now.......he lets out a final breath then finally his eyes roll over and he was-no more.....

The tides of battle have long since shifted towards one side.

The other facing loud extermination.

"argh!" A searing hot blade cuts a man down with ease.

"Watch out!!-" A group of Iwa-nin chunin and a jonin were flooded out by a massive stream of water not getting the chance to regroup and re-coordinate.

A shinobi with lightning fast movements sifts across the battlefield. landing palm strikes after palm strikes at the chests of each shinobi that they cross paths with.

"Wind release great breakthrough!" a massive storm of wind erupts!

"Earth release: Earth flow wall!!" A massive wall of stone erupts to weather the storm but still-

BOOM!~

The wall was directly cleaved with its caster being sliced clean apart, hot flame dancing at the wounds. "URRGHH!

the other konoha-nin doing their part to slaughter the last remaining enemies on the battlefield.

The Iwa-nin army was on their last hope. still mustering the desperate will to fight-

rustle~

A figure not bothering to hide their presence at all calmly walks out presenting themself to both groups.....his aura glistening off his body!

After seeing that figure, one side has a great surge in morale while the other now has unwilling distaste and despair among them.....

"Its over! your commander is definitely dead under captain Kazama's assault, just surrender!!" A konoha-nin shouts with fervor!

"S-shut up! Listen we just need to break through-" an Iwa-nin tried to gather back his comrades will but he was rudely interrupted.

"Actually no. If you want to die a dogs death go straight ahead and follow your commander, I wont stop you. I'll be more than happy to send my well wishes to your families in your stead once this war is over though." The figure, now finally known as miyazaki kazama, casually spoke, eroding any remaining morale the iwa-nin had left.......

"Damnit..." some Iwa-nin directly dropped their weapons listlessly waiting for death, others were more proud and preferred to atleast go out fighting till their last breath and some even pulled out their keepsakes and trinkets provided by family and friends, muttering goodbyes and apologies.......

..........................................

With the final sparks of the iwa-nin we're snuffed out, the konoha-nin army began to clean up the battlefield to the best of their ability while basking in their uplifting mood of a hard fought battle well won.

"Sigh......haha" sitting on a boulder under the night a figure sighs out...but then chuckles to herself as she watches the reflection of herself in her chokuto "I have another interesting story to tell once I get back." she remarked.

"Chiyo-sama, captain kazama ordered us to gather for headcount and instructions moving forward." A konoha-nin informs her of the meeting.

"Nn." she simply nods and gets up walks back to the meeting spot....
