Standing just outside the door was none other than Uchiha Izuna.

Tobirama's tone grew cold. "I didn't expect the Uchiha deputy chief to be so polite. I thought he would barge in unannounced."

Hatake Suiya clenched his jaw, the weight of the situation settling heavily on him. With a nod, he gave the order: "Let him in."

Moments later, the doors opened, and Izuna strode in confidently, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Haha, Tobirama," Izuna greeted, "your sensory skills have grown sharper. Impressive. It seems stealth is no longer effective against you."

Izuna paused briefly before adding with a smirk, "Too bad your strength hasn't improved as much."

Tobirama's face flushed red, his anger barely contained. Yet, he remained silent, unwilling to rise to the provocation.

Hatake Suiya and his advisors exchanged uneasy glances. For Izuna to dismiss Tobirama's strength so casually was shocking, and Tobirama's lack of rebuttal only made it more unsettling.

Izuna turned to Hatake Suiya, bowing slightly. "Clan Leader Hatake, it's an honor to finally meet you. I am Uchiha Izuna."

Suiya hesitated, his expression grim. "Deputy Chief Izuna, we were in the middle of a discussion with Tobirama. Perhaps—"

"No need to delay," Tobirama interrupted, his tone sharp. "I've said what I needed to say. Let the deputy chief speak next. Do you require us to step out?"

Izuna chuckled. "Not at all. I have no secrets to hide."

His smirk widened as he continued, "I can guess the gist of what Tobirama told you: the growing power of the Senju alliance, the supposed advantages of joining them, and promises of resources after Uchiha's defeat."

Izuna's expression turned serious. "My request is much simpler: I ask that the Hatake clan remain neutral in this conflict. You need not support Uchiha—just refrain from aiding the Senju."

The room fell silent. Izuna's proposal was direct and seemingly reasonable, yet the implications were significant.

Hatake Suiya clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms until they drew blood. Remaining neutral would mean rejecting the Senju, an act that could provoke retaliation.

After a tense pause, one of Hatake's senior advisors, Hatake Ren, spoke up. "Deputy Chiefs, please allow us time to discuss this matter. We will provide an answer tomorrow."
