Naruto: Ultimate Couchbound System

It has been sixteen years since the foundation of Konoha, the era of warring states coming to an end with the alliance of Uchiha and Senju.

The establishment of Konoha resulted in other shinobi villages established around the world, the noticeable ones who could rival Konohagakure were Sunagakure, Iwagakure, Kirigakure and Kumogakure.

The establishment of shinobi villages did bring peace to the world riddled with wars but the alliance of great clans under the banner of a village also foreshadowed crueler wars in the future, signs of it already emerging.

Konoha, Year 16.

It was a bright and sunny day in Konoha, the morning promised simplicity and peace. The two proud faces of First and Second Hokage carved into the mountainside overlooked the bustling village below, their stony gazes steady and reassuring.

The streets were already full, shopkeeper setting up their stalls, shinobi heading out on missions or running home.

While the atmosphere here was lively, not could be said the same for the streets of Uchiha District.

Uchiha District.

The Uchiha District was located near the village's western quadrant, closer to the outer sections than the bustling core of the village. The proximity to Konoha Police Force Headquarters allowed the Uchiha to maintain their role as enforces of law and order, a position entrusted to them by the Second Hokage Senju Tobirama.

Compared to the bustling core of the village, the streets here had way less vitality and cheerfulness, barely few other than Uchiha could be spotted on the streets.

The walls, gates and even lampposts of the district had the uchiha fan crest patterned on them, the sense of pride in one's identity overwhelming which being one of the many reasons behind the low interest of civilians to visit this district.

The core of the district was where the upper echelons of Uchiha lived, most of Uchiha Jonin living here with their families.

At a double storey house with a spacious courtyard lived the younger brother of the current Uchiha Patriarch, Uchiha Takumi.

Currently Uchiha Takumi stood in the spacious courtyard with his hands crossed and a frown on his handsome yet cold face, donning the green jonin flak jacket.

He looked in his late thirties and radiated an aura of the strong, his eyes showing his hard experience over the years on the battlefield.

Before him stood a relatively young and small figure, a girl around 5 and had facial features similar to him.

Both of them stood silent on the spot but as time passed a look of anger gradually appeared on the faces of two, Takumi's hands already clenched into fists.

Just when it seemed like both of them would explode on the spot due to anger, a figure with an age similar to the girl walked into the yard and yawning voice sounded.

"Good Morning~~

Wearing a white shirt with black shorts, the boy with black hair and black round eyes walked to the two of them, still stretching his arms and greeting with some sleep still remaining clearly visible in his eyes.

"You Lazy Bastard!!!"

The boy's attitude finally seemed to have crossed the anger limit of Takumi as he roared on the spot, a fist carrying wind pressure reaching towards the boy's head.

"Don't you dare hurt my grandson, you overgrown brute!!!"

But the fist stopped mere inches away from the boy's head as a thunderous voice rang in the courtyard, an old woman entering the yard with a look of anger on her face.

The old woman with hands on her hips stormed towards Takumi on whose cold face an expression like he had constipation appeared, speaking while gritting his teeth.

"You can't spoil him anymore mother! Tomorrow he is joining the academy and he hasn't developed a single good habit all this time. He doesn't train, doesn't study, how would he live to the Uchiha name like this?"

Asked Takumi with grievance in his tone easy to spot, his eyes showing an extreme disappointed look as he gazed at his useless lazy son.

Unlike his sister who listened to his every word and started to train diligently under him when both of them turned four, the number of times this bastard has trained is even lesser than the times Tobirama has ever praised Uchiha.

"Living up to the Uchiha name, huh? Sure, sure. Remind me—wasn't it supposed to be your face carved next to Hashirama's? But they carved Tobirama's instead. Must've been due to the constant constipated look you two share!"

Grandma was breathing fire, Takumi's face flushed completely at her words as unable to say another word in response.

"Ha… let's go Harumi!" Humiliated, Takumi taking a deep breath calmed himself and with his head down walked out of the house, ordering the girl to follow him.

The girl before leaving made a face at the boy who in response straightened his jaw with a subtle clench, using his index figure to make a shush gesture, then turning his head to trace the index finger on the sharp line of his jaw.

"Come on, sweet pea. don't worry about your father and train whenever you like. If he ever tries to force you then come to me. I'll show him a jutsu that isn't in any scroll-`Grandma's Thousand Years Wrath`! Trust me, it's legendary"

"Thank you Grandma" The boy said sheepishly, at his words a brilliant smile blooming on the face of Grandma, the motherly love overflowing.

"Let's go! I know you haven't had breakfast yet. I made your favorite pancakes today"

"You're the best, Grandma!"

After the breakfast, the boy patting his full belly with a satisfied look on his face walked back to his room on the second floor intending to take another nap but his movement halted a little when a familiar sound rang in his mind.

"Panel"

After a little pause, the boy continued walking again and arriving in his room laid down on a huge couch, staring towards the ceiling and muttering inwardly.
