Naruto: Unifying the Ninja World, Invaded by Naruto’s Team

Chapter 137: Otsutsuki Isshiki

His expression was unexpectedly calm, as if chatting with a friend.

"Hmph… Well, thanks for the compliment."

Boruto-era Naruto slowly stepped in front of Boruto, gently waving his hand, signaling him to step back.

Boruto didn't insist and obediently retreated.

"I must apologize to you, Uzumaki Naruto. My disobedient child has been troubling you lately. Now, I need to take him home." Jigen said politely.

"That's not a big deal. Leader of the Kara Organization… Jigen, I've been wanting to meet you for a long time."

Boruto-era Naruto took a deep breath, clenching both fists.

Besides chakra, a not-so-weak wave of True Qi surged in his body, complementing each other, making his aura incredibly strong.

This caused Jigen to show a hint of surprise.

"Hm? Impressive chakra… But are you sure you want to be my enemy? That might cause you a lot of suffering, you know… I'm only here to retrieve my disobedient child."

Jigen gave a faint smile.

"Ugh…"

Kawaki, hearing Jigen's words, felt cold sweat pour down his face.

"Stop talking to yourself!"

Boruto-era Naruto shouted angrily, stomping the ground. In an instant, he was beside Jigen, throwing a punch.

Boruto-era Naruto came fast and left just as quickly.

The next second, he was swept away by a kick from his opponent, sent flying hundreds of meters, crashing through dozens of trees!

"Dad!"

"Seventh Hokage!"

Boruto and Kawaki shouted.

Jigen raised his right hand.

*SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!* *SWOOSH!*

Several black rods pierced through the air, stabbing into Naruto's four limbs.

"Ugh!"

Boruto-era Naruto cried out in pain.

"These things are absorbing my chakra…"

"This guy is insanely strong. Delta's far behind him." the Nine-Tails spoke within Naruto's body, its voice grave.

"Yeah… but this time, I can't lose! I can't keep losing face in front of the kids." Boruto-era Naruto said.

"Oh? Planning to go all out?" the Nine-Tails asked.

"Help me, Kurama."

"Got it!"

Their conversation ended there.

The Nine-Tails' cloak erupted. All the black rods piercing Naruto's body were expelled.

His wounds healed instantly. Naruto's figure flickered, turning into an orange flash, charging at Jigen.

*BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!*

The two clashed relentlessly, fists and feet colliding, shattering the ground and trees around them.

Boruto and Kawaki kept retreating.

Kawaki stared at Boruto-era Naruto in disbelief. "The Seventh Hokage… when did he get this strong?"

He recalled the fight against Delta, which wasn't nearly this intense.

"My dad was holding back before because of Himawari. Now that she's not here, he can go all out." Boruto said, clenching his fists, his heart stirred. But his greater feeling was worry.

Though he couldn't clearly see the battlefield, he could see his father occasionally being knocked back.

Yet, each time he was knocked back, Naruto would rise as if nothing happened and resume fighting.

*BOOM!*

Massive explosions echoed, quickly reaching the ears of nearby Konoha villagers.

A group of ninjas rushed to the battlefield, witnessing two streaks of light clashing.

"What's this?"

A ninja asked, terrified by the cracked ground.

"One of them might be the Seventh Hokage, the other…" Konohamaru recognized the golden light, speaking hesitantly.

"That's Jigen, the leader of Kara!" Kawaki's voice rang out.

"Kara… that group…" Konohamaru's expression changed, recalling Ao.

"It's the Seventh Hokage fighting an enemy! Everyone, help the Hokage!" a ninja shouted.

The ninjas formed hand seals in unison.

"Lightning Style: Earth Walk!"

*BOOM!*

Hundreds of lightning bolts shot toward Jigen, who was fighting Naruto, briefly disrupting him as he absorbed the energy. Naruto seized the chance, kicking Jigen back.

This annoyed Jigen slightly. Brushing off the dust, he glanced at the Konoha ninjas.

"Everyone, run! This isn't a fight you can join!" Naruto shouted at them.

But it was too late.

Black rods shot out, piercing the Konoha ninjas and pinning them to the ground, immobilizing them.

"Damn it… how did it come to this…"

"These black rods are draining my chakra."

"So strong… the Seventh Hokage is fighting a monster like this?"

"We can't help at all! Damn it!"

The ninjas felt despair, only able to watch Naruto charge at Jigen again, fighting fiercely.

"Damn it! Are we just supposed to watch?" Boruto, observing from afar, was filled with frustration.

"The gap is too wide. Jigen's power and his compatibility with Kama far surpass us…" Kawaki said reluctantly.

"Damn it! If only that arrogant guy who beat Delta was here." Boruto said, unconsciously thinking of Imperial Sasuke.

Kawaki's expression froze. "Right, if he were here…"

*BOOM!!*

As they spoke, a giant Kirin descended from the sky, forcing Jigen to absorb the lightning. Stunned, he took a hit from Naruto and was kicked hundreds of meters away by Boruto-era Sasuke.

Naruto and Sasuke approached each other, exchanged a glance, and gave faint smiles. They turned to face Jigen in the distance.

This sight ignited the spirits of the Konoha ninjas.

They're here!

The legendary savior duo, the Seventh Hokage who defeated Otsutsuki Kaguya! The strongest Uchiha ninja!

With them, defeat was impossible!

Jigen stood, brushing off dust, and looked at the two. "Looks like I underestimated you both."

*SWOOSH!!*

Naruto and Sasuke didn't respond, charging forward instead.

With perfect coordination, they fought evenly against Jigen, who had entered Kama Stage Two.

Nearby, the Empire's members silently observed the battlefield.

Ryuji recognized Jigen, recalling when he planted the perfected God Tree in the ninja world. Jigen had provoked him and was defeated with one punch.

Unexpectedly… this man was a major boss in the Boruto era and an Otsutsuki vessel.

If he'd known, he should've let Jigen act more back then to gather more information.

But it wasn't too late.

With both sides' current strength, they could fight for a while.

That would surely draw out someone stronger. Still… were Naruto and Sasuke in the Boruto era too weak?

Ryuji had always thought they were hiding their power. But today, watching the fight, he was speechless.

To him, Boruto-era Naruto was stronger than Boruto-era Sasuke, no doubt.

Recalling the intense final battle against Kaguya in Shippuden, Naruto Six Paths was the main damage dealer, with Sasuke Six Paths as the primary support.

If Sasuke Six Paths hadn't gained the power of eight-and-a-half Bijuu at the end, he might've been thoroughly beaten by Naruto Six Paths. Their power levels were a tier apart.

If Kaguya's strength were classified, she'd be high-tier Six Paths, on par with the Sage of the Six Paths.

Naruto and Sasuke, with the Sage's power, fought Kaguya, a high-tier Six Paths enemy.

Naruto Six Paths' strength was likely mid-high tier, while Sasuke Six Paths was mid-low tier.

But now, Naruto and Sasuke in the Boruto era seemed only beginner-tier Six Paths, even after training in martial arts for some time.

Their power had dropped drastically.

And neither used Six Paths power from start to finish.

So, had their Six Paths power run out? Or was it reclaimed by the Sage?

The reason Naruto and Sasuke were weak in the Boruto era, often complained about online in his past life, was finally clear.

If they still had Six Paths power, defeating Urashiki and Momoshiki alone wouldn't have been an issue.

This Jigen, though impressive, was only low-tier Six Paths in Ryuji's eyes, slightly stronger than Boruto-era Naruto and Sasuke, who were just starting out.

A subordinate with this level of power was acceptable?

The Otsutsuki behind the scenes was worth looking forward to.

The corners of Ryuji's mouth curved.

"Your Majesty, Naruto and Sasuke in this world seem to be in some danger. Should we save them?" Ninja World Naruto said, slightly anxious.

"Stay quiet and watch. They were never our targets. From start to finish, our goal has been the leader behind Kara—the Otsutsuki." Ryuji replied calmly.

Ninja World Naruto was reluctant but could only keep watching the fierce battle.

*BOOM!*

The fight continued.

Perhaps the warm-up was over, or Naruto and Sasuke realized they couldn't defeat Jigen like this. They roared, activating a giant Susano'o.

A massive golden Nine-Tails and Perfect Form Susano'o stood tall.

This Gundam-like construct, made of chakra and true energy, was slightly different from usual.

It looked more majestic and powerful, boosting the morale of Konoha's residents.

Though expressionless and fighting fiercely, Jigen was gradually pushed back, constantly knocked away.

This sight further energized the Konoha ninjas.

"We can win! The Seventh Hokage and Uchiha Sasuke's combo is unbeatable!"

"Go, Seventh Hokage! Go, Uchiha Sasuke!"

"Damn Kara! Die!"

"Konoha is the number one ninja village in the ninja world! You picked the wrong fight, Kara bastards!"

The ninjas shouted.

Their loud voices excited Boruto and Kawaki.

"They're really going to win? Jigen will be defeated? This is Jigen's Kama Stage Two… incredible…" Kawaki's body trembled with excitement.

Something he'd only dreamed of was happening before his eyes.

Amazing!

"Dad and Uncle Sasuke are the strongest! Their combo defeated Momoshiki, so of course they can beat this bastard!" Boruto raised his right hand high, shouting joyfully.

"Looks like we'll win." Ninja World Naruto's lips curved, his heart relieved.

*BOOM!!!*

Another heavy blow. A shrunken Jigen was struck, spitting blood.

"Damn you lowly creatures! How dare you push me this far… I acknowledge your strength… but the game ends here. I'll kill you instantly and take Kawaki." Jigen said coldly, glancing at Kawaki watching from afar.

He seemed to have made a decision.

"If you can do it, try." Boruto-era Sasuke said fearlessly.

"I won't let you take Kawaki." Boruto-era Naruto added.

Inside the giant Susano'o, they looked down at Jigen, their expressions wary again.

Did he have another ability he hadn't used?

So strong.

*BOOM!!!*

A terrifying chakra beam erupted.

Jigen's form transformed before everyone.

Soon, he became a strange man with a horn on his head, a Byakugan in his left eye, a golden star-shaped eye on the right, black tomoe on his bare chest, and odd clothing.

Seeing this man, Boruto-era Naruto and Sasuke's expressions changed drastically.

"This form… could it be an Otsutsuki!?"

"How? Jigen is an Otsutsuki?"

"Jigen, is this your true face?"

Cold sweat poured down Kawaki's face in the distance. The Kama seal on his body had vanished.

Removing the Kama seal was his goal, his hope, his desire.

But when it actually happened, especially because of Jigen, his feelings became complex.

He didn't know what Jigen, now in his true form, would do.

But he knew Jigen was now exponentially more terrifying!

And he was the target of this fearsome Jigen!

Defeating Jigen—was it just an impossible dream?

Kawaki's eyes dimmed.

"Otsutsuki… another Otsutsuki… This guy must be stronger than Urashiki and Momoshiki… Dad, Uncle Sasuke, can they win?" Boruto grew worried again.

The Konoha ninjas watched anxiously.

"Otsutsuki! Another Otsutsuki!"

"Damn it! No wonder our power seems so small against this guy—he's an Otsutsuki!"

"When will these Otsutsuki bastards leave our homeland!"

"Don't worry, everyone! The Seventh Hokage and Sasuke are strong fighters who defeated Kaguya and Momoshiki. Even with a new Otsutsuki, they won't lose!" Boruto-era Kakashi shouted to calm his fearful comrades.

Elsewhere, Boruto-era Guy, his legs healed, sharpened his expression. "Otsutsuki… maybe today's the day to reignite my youth…"

"Guy! Don't rush in. This opponent isn't the incomplete Uchiha Madara. He's cautious and strong… even if you activate the Eight Gates, it's hard to move freely. He won't give you an opening…" Boruto-era Kakashi said, noting the difference between this opponent and Madara after multiple battles.

Madara was a madman who'd let his opponent act fully, enjoying the fight.

But the Otsutsuki before them would use the simplest method to win!
