Chapter 132: Chapter 132: Morning Glow
Morning.
Soft golden rays gently angled through the window, casting their light inside.
On the tatami mat lay two people, entwined in each other's embrace.
Neither had yet awakened.
"Mmm..."
It was unknown how much time had passed before Kurenai slowly awoke. She found herself nestled comfortably in someone else's arms.
Startled for a moment, her expression changed slightly.
But as memories of the previous day flooded back, she immediately relaxed, her face flushing a delicate shade of pink as a warm sensation stirred within her.
Looking at the boy lying beside her—she couldn't help but gaze at him, entranced.
His warm, broad embrace was so comforting that she almost didn't want to leave.
She snuggled a little closer, a soft smile appearing on her face. Gently brushing his face, she murmured, "You little pervert."
Recalling the thrilling and strange experiences of the previous day, a soft blush rose to her cheeks. She still couldn't believe it, as if it had all been a dream.
Though they hadn't taken that final step, in the world of the spirit, they had already shared everything.
Kurenai smiled faintly, the sweetness overwhelming.
The movement in his embrace stirred Kiyoshi awake.
"Kurenai…" he murmured, his eyes opening to see her beautiful face right before him. He smiled and pulled her close, holding her as though he'd never let go.
"Kiyoshi, shouldn't we get up?" Kurenai's face blushed slightly, but since they'd already been open with each other, there was nothing to hide anymore.
"Yes, we still have some training to do today," Kiyoshi replied with a smile.
As for Ino and Tenten, given their current skill levels, a simple wood clone could easily guide them for now.
"This pattern really does suit you better." Kiyoshi whispered, gently brushing her lovely face.
On her normally smooth and flawless forehead was a light red flame-like symbol that had mysteriously appeared, adding an indescribable allure to her already stunning beauty.
It was hard not to get lost in her gaze.
"The release technique for the Yin Seal….you've already mastered it," Kiyoshi said warmly.
"Remember, if you're in danger, you can release the chakra stored within. It'll be enough to sustain you for an extended battle."
Just yesterday, Kiyoshi had used his Spirit Transformation Jutsu to help her form both the Yin Seal and the Strength of a Hundred Seal.
However, he had felt that the Strength of a Hundred's typical purple diamond design was too generic.
Wanting something unique, he had made a bold attempt to modify the technique, replacing the diamond with an intricate flame-like pattern.
Kurenai smiled, nodding. She couldn't deny how stunned she'd been yesterday when Kiyoshi had used his incredible chakra reserves to form these seals for her.
His chakra was vast, comparable to the tailed beasts themselves.
Although she couldn't yet master the seals or store chakra within them on her own, in a crisis, following the method Kiyoshi taught her, she could release the chakra he had already stored for her without issue.
After a moment of warmth, Kurenai nudged him to get up. Kiyoshi stretched and, looking at the enchanting beauty beside him, couldn't help but plant a quick kiss on her cheek.
"Still not enough for you?" Kurenai gave him a reproachful look. He'd promised yesterday to behave, yet he'd managed to enjoy nearly everything except that final step.
"It'll never be enough." Kiyoshi responded, his voice soft. He gently wrapped his arm around her waist and placed another light kiss on her lovely face.
"Sweet talker." Kurenai squinted, smiling warmly, though she playfully pinched his cheek. "Tell me, when did you start having these thoughts about your sister?"
"Since the start," Kiyoshi chuckled, holding her close. "From the very beginning, you were destined to be mine, and no one else's."
"Such a cunning boy…." Kurenai sighed sweetly yet helplessly.
This handsome and talented young man had stolen her heart so thoroughly that she wasn't sure she could let him out of her sight.
"Alright, that's enough." Kurenai muttered, feigning annoyance.
….
After some playful banter, Kiyoshi led Kurenai back to the Ishikawa house.
Despite having visited countless times, Kurenai felt oddly nervous, like a bride meeting her in-laws for the first time.
After Kiyoshi had regulated her physical condition through the Strength of a Hundred Seal, she seemed to glow with youth, her skin smooth and radiant.
She looked even more stunning than she had at eighteen, carrying an elegant yet alluring aura that captivated everyone around her.
Even Karin stared in awe at her beauty.
And Keiko, who frequently saw Kurenai, couldn't help but notice that something seemed entirely different, as though she had turned back the clock and grown several years younger.
"Karin, this is the Kurenai-nee I've been telling you about," Kiyoshi introduced them with a smile. "Kurenai-nee, this is Karin, Keiko-san's daughter."
Though Kiyoshi was holding Kurenai's hand, the meeting wasn't nearly as explosive as when they had met Anko yesterday.
Still, Karin felt a slight pang of jealousy seeing how close they were.
She felt overshadowed by Kurenai's elegance and beauty, and her confidence deflated as she compared herself, feeling like an ugly duckling next to such grace.
"Eh?"
After some small talk, Kurenai, ever the graceful houseguest, went to assist Keiko in the kitchen. It was then that Karin noticed something amiss.
"Kiyoshi, what happened to your Strength of a Hundred Seal?" she asked, surprised. The diamond mark that used to be on his forehead was suddenly gone.
"I made some adjustments to the technique," Kiyoshi shrugged. "I hid it."
As a man, having that mark on his forehead every day felt a bit odd to him, so he'd taken the time to modify it, concealing the mark.
The Strength of a Hundred Seal was still there, only hidden by a special technique he had developed. It would reappear whenever he needed to use it.
