"Hmm? Is that."

As they continued to advance deeper into the forest.

At around twelve or thirteen kilometers from their target, Kurenai, using her keen Red Eye vision, which rivals even the Byakugan, pierced through layers of obstacles to spot a cave radiating a powerful chakra.

She squinted, her gaze zeroing in on several figures inside. Her attention was immediately drawn to a peculiar, oversized blade. 

Recognizing it instantly, she muttered, "That's the Kubikiribocho, one of the Seven Swords of the Mist."

"Kubikiribocho…?"

Following behind her were Hana and Yugao, who exchanged glances. 

They had initially felt uneasy with Kurenai's decision not to use tracking dogs and instead relied on her own vision to lead the way. This, however, seemed like overconfidence to them.

"No doubt about it," Kurenai replied firmly. "It's Zabuza Momochi, the rogue Mist Ninja. And Raiga Kurosuki is there too."

She had already reviewed Raiga's wanted poster before setting off and had even taken a look at all the bounties for the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.

"Two of the Seven Swordsmen?" Anko, unable to hide her surprise, flashed a toothy grin. "Well, we've struck gold today."

"Wait," Yugao interjected, surprised. 

"Based on your earlier sensing, weren't they supposed to be over ten kilometers away? How did you manage to figure all this out from such a distance?"

"Kurenai-san, do you have the Byakugan?" Hana asked, astonished as well.

Both Hana and Yugao noticed that Kurenai's eyes had an unusual glow, gathering red chakra around them without showing any other transformation.

"No, I just happen to have a similar type of eye technique that lets me see through objects," Kurenai replied with a smile.

She felt secure knowing her significant other would support her if the Hyuga clan were to challenge her on her unique ability.

"Oh, I see." Yugao and Hana murmured, glancing at each other in awe.

They knew better than to pry further, understanding that in the shinobi world, questioning someone's abilities was disrespectful and could be dangerous.

"Watch out, there's a trap about a hundred meters ahead. Avoid it."

"One kilometer ahead, there are numerous explosive tags hidden."

"At two kilometers, there's."

Under Kurenai's guidance, the group moved swiftly, evading all the traps. Silently, they closed in on the cave where Zabuza and Raiga were hiding.

"The target is inside."

Concealed in a dense thicket, Kurenai peered at the cave ahead and whispered, "Prepare yourselves."

Anko, licking her lips with an eager glint in her eyes, looked at Kurenai and said, "Let me take on Raiga."

While Konoha didn't know it, both Kurenai and Anko had gone through ruthless training, far more intense than most could imagine. 

With Kiyoshi's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he had copied countless battles from the memories of Danzo and other Root members. 

Using his Tsukuyomi technique, he simulated these battles in a world as real as life itself.

In Kiyoshi's illusions, Anko and Kurenai had faced battle after life-threatening battle, going through many brushes with death. 

Although they didn't truly die, the mental toll was very real. 

Thanks to Kiyoshi's advanced healing jutsu, they managed to recover from these intense experiences, but both emerged stronger than ever, with heightened reflexes and hardened resolve.

"Anko-san." Yugao and Hana turned pale. 

Raiga was an S-rank rogue ninja, skilled in wielding the thunder sword Kiba, and a master of Lightning Style. Anko taking him alone sounded dangerous.

"Alright, Raiga is yours, Anko. At the very least, keep him occupied," Kurenai nodded, knowing Anko's strength all too well. 

"Leave Zabuza to me. My eye technique counters his Silent Killing."

"The other three rogues will be yours, Yugao and Hana."

Without waiting for their reply, Kurenai darted forward, weaving hand signs rapidly before pressing her hands to the ground.

"Earth Style: Rock Lodging Destruction."

With a thunderous rumble, the entire front of the cave began to collapse, sending plumes of dust and rocks flying in every direction.

"Shhh—"

Anko, Yugao, and Hana quickly regrouped by Kurenai's side, gripping their kunai and ninja swords, ready for combat.

"That alone won't take them down. Stay alert." Kurenai warned.

Yugao cast Kurenai an admiring glance. 

It seemed that, with the help of her "brother" Kiyoshi, Kurenai's skills in Earth Style had reached impressive new levels. She could now activate jutsu instantly, without any visible preparation.

"Damn it."

Figures began to stagger out from the rubble, looking rough but alive.

"Konoha shinobi?" Zabuza glared at Kurenai and her team, fury burning in his eyes as he noted their headbands.

A beaten-looking Haku murmured, "Gozu and Meizu were crushed to death."

"Humph, worthless fools," Raiga snorted coldly, killing intent flaring in his eyes as he locked onto Kurenai, Anko, and the others. 

"What, has Konoha run out of shinobi? They only sent a few women."

"Since they're here, let's finish them off."

Gripping the Kubikiribocho, Zabuza's killing intent surged, filling the air with a chilling aura that made Hana flinch.

"If you look down on us, be ready to pay the price." Anko's eyes gleamed with resolve as she smirked, licking her lips.

She swiftly formed hand signs and took a deep breath, unleashing her jutsu in Zabuza and Raiga's direction.

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu."

Heat waves surged as a blazing dragon of fire shot toward Zabuza and Raiga, painting the sky red.

"Fire Style? You think I didn't come prepared?"

Zabuza's expression was one of cold disdain. He had chosen this cave for its proximity to a river, ensuring a water-rich environment for defense.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu."

Zabuza formed signs at lightning speed, drawing on the nearby river. With a roar, a massive water dragon surged up, crashing headlong into the fire dragon.
